Fire does damage metal, the worst thing that can happen on sea in a all metal Ship is Fire. Fire weakens metal to the point of failure.

I haven't read the whole thread but can AT-ST's be heald by the Droid wound/damage packs from this patch?.






If not they should sence the Devs more or less are consitering them Droids, also wound packs should only work near Garages, in Camp or Near a Repair Droid. Just like Wound packs for humans/pets, or ATLEAST not in combate. At the very least ATST's wounds should be repaired BUY Garages, and Damage should be repaired buy DroidDamage RepairPacks.

I think his talking about race hatred by Imps and they take a faction perk hit like 125% for wookies. Unless it changed since beta...that's the last time I was an imp..lol

Honestly, I think any faction point ratio other than the 1:1 was a bad idea in the first place.


Right up there with "Wookies can't wear armor..."


It just creates too many problems. Many people would switch from being a wookie to a human if they could do character creation over again. But most new players probably don't realize what they are getting into and jsut decide that it would be "cool" to play a wookie. Instead they are doomed to be mildly dissatissfied.


I honestly think the faction point ratio should be the same for all. And I think that if wookies can't ever wear armor then a one time species change per character should be insitituted (via Image Designers). Actually I kind of like that idea even if Wookies DO get to wear armor. The players should have one chance to change their mind once they've played for a little while.

I should also say that I certainly understand the reasoning for faction point ratios and armorless wookies.


However, from a GAMEPLAYstandpoint it doesn't work very well.

Hmm, of course that same ATST can kill the average Commando with a single shot. So the commando isn't likely to get more than one dot on it in the first place. If he's above average, then he deserves to get more than one dot on it. As far as healing an ATST, how exactly would that work? Do you prefer nano-droids rapidly reconstructing the slagged hull, or magic gnomes? Maybe midichlorians?

wow, you guys must only pvp with at-st's. have you ever tried to solo a at-st as a commando??? you act like commandos knockem over with no effort. i have never been able to solo a at st, and im a master commando. they reak havoc, just like they should!! wouldnt want it any other way. rebs have nothing even close to it. its like 60k ham now. commando is pretty much wortheless other than killing turrets and at's, and it takes almost all your skill points to master. you should take out the commando before he takes on your at, and be thankful that you have such a great advantage over the oppisition

I think the main issue is the fact we cannot heal them or repair them to be more consistant.


The fact they were nurfed on PvE is fine.


The fact we can only call one is fine, but should be able to pull more depending on rank.


Classing it as a pet - hmmm - It's not a pet, but a part of the time and effort you put into the game to get it, which is wasted as soon as you pull them out in major PvP action 99% of the time.


Too be totally honest, I have never used the 2 ATST's I have, since they nurfed them.... and would rather actually just hand them back and get the FP I paid for them. I don't find them useful and as you can die so quickly in PvP, it's hard to store your "pet" and take it out of the action when your down and out.


Hell, you walk past a possible agro mob and get agro'd and it stands there while you get your ass kicked with it's finger up its.........! I mean, it's commading officer gets killed and it stands there doing nothing.... how stupid is that ?



Nah... give me back my FP and just delete the ATST's.

Okay... I think you should be able to use your atst in PVE and.. its a perk to being imp..... Rebels should be able to use there spec force troops in pve..... If it hurts the balance of the game Then why did you give them to us..... I think after the nerf just give us the ability to trade them back in a get the faction points.. they are really useless.... And with the rebels whining about how powerful they are yes... You should die soloing an atst unless your are a jedi... So UNNERF THEM DEVS!!!!

What is up with SOE? You have officialy nerfed the entire Empire. Rank is useless, even with crackdown, still useless, not seen a scanning team yet, just dead st's in piles. Our pets are useless, limited to one, and reasonably resticted from hunting pelts, but I still say if a st sits with his finger in his bum while his officer is mugged by thugs he is getting shot for deriliction of duty. Some change was needed, but making them paperweights was too much. Besides smacking every loyal Imp in the face, why? WHY??? do CH's get to use multiple fac pets? They aren't pets, they are troops. You don't raise and train a AT ST, and you don't heal a trooper with pet stims and feed him bofa treats. Nerfing us is one thing, but turning around and giving what we should have to a class that isn't even in predominate in SW's is just inexcusable. There was one CH I remember from the SW's movies, the guy who owned the Rancor. Most people probably don't even connect him as a CH. I'm assuming, cuz if that isn't where CH came from, SOE pulled these folks out of thin air. I didn't see him running a troop of ST's around, so why are they now suddenly doing so? Maybe you are planning this, but if you aren't, consider making rank the determinant of fac pets, not the CH. They can already whip out 3 Rancors, they don't need 3 AT STs.

(well I didn't read all 9+ pages of thisbut here is my 2 cents)


I am Master CH so happy that I'll have 3pets. BUT, it makes NO sense to me at ALL, why I have to be master CREATURE handler tohave more than oneAT-ST or have stormtroopers??? they are not wild creatures that need to be tamed!! Did the developers even contemplate this in terms of role-play rather than something that is easier to code? (I am a coder and have been for 10+ years so I do know what I am talking about)


As MANY people have suggested, number of faction pets (though I don't know why they are called pets, as they aren't pets at all, just soldiers or machines to order around) should be based on rank. There is no reason this is not doable


- Oh I'm sorry General, your army only has 1 stormtrooper in it because you aren't a master creature handler-


seriously, think about the game play a bit

no sir i dont like it, more hitpoints but they can still be kicked to death? at st's are war machines 20 feet tall, made of solid steal, yet you can kick and punch them to death, lovely
