Horrible hoorible horrible, SO when 74 rebels come into my town, I cannot pull out my Faction pet for faction fighting?

Cause we all know they didnt use at st's to kill people, oh wait they DID!

AT ST should be able, nay, Wanting to kill all rebel scum, missions or not, Jedis, PVE PVP as long as they are TEFed or overt ATST should attack....

I think that it should be a quest item,


I think that you should only be able to start the quest once you have acheived the highest imperial rank,


I think the quest should be very difficult to solo,


I think the at-st should cost heavy initial fp's then be a heavy credit sink to repair them


And THEN I think they should mop rebels up like they used to before.



It's a high-end imperial weapon, and I don't think it should be attained with mediocore combat skills and just a small time investment. Achieving highest imperial rank alone is a time sink, and then to up the price a bit more is a pretty hefty committment to earning one of these. Of course people can buy fp's and there are exploits, but make the quest difficult as well to try and counter this. I think all Imperails want their at-st's to be powerfull again, even if it means they can't use it or have put in a massive effort to attain it. As the game stand now, I haven't pulled mine out in a fight in 2 months, and I find myself camping Giant Dune Kimo's as a distraction till the combat revamp is done. It's High-end content, it's GCW related, it makes imperials happy(i assume), and alot of rebels do lobby for the return of "the" at-st...as long is it doesn't turn into every low level imp has a death machine. Just my opinion.


There is another way to go as well I think, make them truly expendable, and easily beaten. Let us pull one out a time, maybe 500 fp's and then a couple of stormies on top of that, and if they all drop then no big deal. Although not entirely realistic as most people see Star Wars, Rebels would love it cause they get to blow em up all the time in fights, and I would like it just for the visuals. I think at-st's exploding everywhere on a battlefield would add alot of "ambience" to the GCW. If it didn't sting to much to loose em and they did help out a bit, I would always be willing to use em.

I agree about the AT ST's being harder to attain. I still believe the Rebels should steal technology from the Federation and get the Destroyer Droids. But they will not be able to take out AT ST's alone. They are the cream of the combat crop. But, they should be treated that way. I think as many others that rank should have something to do with who gets them. Should a Corperal have the ability to boss around AT ST? NO. Give them 15K HAM and huge blast strength but if you are not a Colonel then that AT ST sits in your datapad until you are, period.

If you want to balance this out let Rebels have more troops then Imps. Imps have better technology so they get better stuff in game. Rebels have more people but dont get more NPC's? I think Rebels should be able to have like 5 or 6 out at once.

One of the only reasons I became an imp was to get things such as AT-ST's but if a single player can take em out they might as well not be in the game and I might as well go rebel. These things are giant machines. They're supposed to be overpawering. If you guys want to nerf it somehow raise the FP you need to get em. and whatever you do. don't make the things weaker. but if you do make em weaker make em so they don't die permanentaly. Saving up all that FP is very time consuming especially for a trandoshan just to have it last a single battle. Fire dot's should only do half damage on these things or not last as long. I mean metal isn't an easy thing to burn. Wounds shouldn't be a factor on em either. At least make em repairable. AT-ST's should only be able to be taken down by at least 5 players. Please make these things the goliaths that they are and not commando fodder.

you can email Korse on Test Center I have been working realy hard to get Storm Trooper armor and a AT-ST but saddly being a Zabrak it's realy expensive. 2X the cost comapaired to normal

Imo, all my 3 AT-STs are goodonly for show when im in my city and with protection. I used my At-sts when i was a master doctor/master CH. my pets even BE enchanced pets get toasted way to fast when doing factional missions. So i was stuck using At-St. I had to do factional missions cause being a doctor i ran out of money, there are too many doctors now. Mainly from Holo grinders that still havent got there FSS yet. Decreasing the armor on At-Sts worthless so non-combantant professions could never earn Fps. And yes thats true. the amount of Fps you earn is based on the amount of physical damage you do. I know ive grinded over half the professions in SWG already and have tested it. If im wrong please tell me and log on and show me if it works for you. My main concern with this is that At-sts will be useless. to compensate on SOEs part you should up the protectin values on Rebel factional armor. I see this as viable since, hopefully, in Pub 7 Defense hard caps go in and Commando/TKA's will be able to take damage finally. Second idea is lower the cost of At-Sts to non-human species in SWG. Paying 20k per at-st is rough on the faction pocket book as a Zabrak and i think its more for some of the other races. These are my ideas and thoughts.

Does it cost less for humans to get an at-st? If not then why isa Zabrak harder to use to get faction points?

Im not sure I understand the question. Are you saying that it costs less for a Zabrak to get Faction Points?

I think he means the manual says Zabraks don't surffer a Imperial Faction penalty but in game they do, so does the AT still cost more for Zabraks than they do for Humans.

When are the faction cost penaltys going to be looked at? Weren't we promised a long time ago that as you move up in rank your penalty for being non-human decreases?

I gotta be honest here and some may call this a flame but its not.


Why are people still whining over the ATST? Its a Piece of paper now. a Rifleman Buffed and in his Composite armor can solo them and not die.

The ATST is a mere shadow of what it used ot be yet people still **edit** and whine non stop. The ATST was an Anti-Person Vehicle. Yet People dont die. Hell half the time The ATST hits a person for less then a player can hit another player for.


Really people need to shut up and move on. WHy not complain about the fact 90% of all Players wear 80-90% resist Armors. The Armor has rendered Melee professions who do kinetic damage worthless. Teras Kasi Masters might as well Piss on the other guy he might actually do more damage this way. ATSTs rarely make an appearance anymore yet the Whiny ass rebels continue to cry over it.


a Rifleman can Advanced Strafe shot for 4K+ damage on an ATST. When did Rifles mean anything against a tank?


If anything the ATST needs to be Improved closer to what it used to be and not nerfed. Want to make it a Vehicle sure do it. I have no problem with that as long as I get the right to repair it like any other vehicle. and I dont want rebels to **edit** when my vehicle kills them.
