Thread: Live Issues Publish 8.2
Issue: Large mobs like Krayts and Kimos are very easily soloed since you can trick the ai by attacking with ranged weapons from a hill.

Instructions on how to recreate the bug:
Attack a large mob from a hill or kite it to a hill. Walk slowly upwards untill it stops hitting you as often as before. At some point the mob only seem to hit you with an area attack once every 10-30 seconds but most of the time it will miss you no matter what your defenses are.

Issue: Missions failing to spawn
Server: Radiant
Planet: Yavin IV
Location (x,y): Mining outpost and surrounding area
Your profession: Several across different characters/servers
Instructionson how to recreate the bug: This happens all over I believe and is not limited to just one specific type of mission, but as an example the most frequent failed spawns for me are the ones on Yavin IV ... Go to the Yavin IV mining outpost in the north and grab Whisper bird missions about 600m-1000m to the west, the trick is to pick up the whisper bird lairs that dont look like a huge rock on the picture, grab the ones that look like a load of piled twigs and the name is something like "WisperBirdLairYavinIV" not "Whisper bird"... Those have never actually spawned a lair for me at all to my knowledge. Probably known about but, that's been happening to me since I can remember.
Additional : Fix Chair warping! This was the first thing I noticed about SWG when I bought the game which gave me buyers remorse, it is the first thing I tell anyone about SWG when they ask me because it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in a game, and it is the last thing no doubt I will see when I cancel my account, just to ice my cake..
Server:Bria
Planet: N/A (Corellia)
Location (x,y): N/A Started in Coronet, continued elsewhere
Your profession: Squad Leader / Carbineer
Instructionson how to recreate the bug:
Log Out buffed and wearing high-encumberance composite armor. Log back in after buffs are gone. The armor is still on. Take off the armor- you will appear correct on your screen.
Look at the character from another account- it will still appear to be in composite armor. No costume changes are recognized by the other players. (I tried relogging, changing costumes, putting the armor on piecemeal, etc.)
Finally, get a buff, don the original armor, then remove it. The problem's resolved.
Finally, got a buff, put on the armor entirely, removed it, and the problem was solved.
Server: Radiant
Planet: Dantooine
Location (x,y): All
Your profession: Swordsman
Instructionson how to recreate the bug: Run missions from any mission terminal, I've had nights that 6 out of 10 missions will fail, other nights it's around 4 out of 10. Does not matter mission type, they're all bugged on Dantooine.
Issue 2: Dantooine lags horridly with normal ping of 80ms
Server: Radiant
Planet: Dantooine
Location (x,y): All
Your profession: Swordsman
Instructionson how to recreate the bug: Attempt to craft anything, attempt to view vendors, accept missions from mission terminals.. There is a 2-3 second delay for doing any of these normal routines. Note: this lagis not viewable when travelling on a bike or walking or conversing.
Gilean
Issue: Every time i exit game and come back in, the HELP check mark comes back in datapad. Every time i disconect and reconnect, the experience meter show the novice politician skill meter
Server: Kauri

Instructionson how to recreate the bug: Activate 4 experience meters (4 different) and remove the help check mark in datapad, now try to disconnect and reconnect, experience meter have gone crazy, then exit game and come back in, datapad has reset like for a newbie.
Issue: Repaired vehicles not saving in 'repaired' state when you shuttle with them out.
Server: Bloodfin
Planet: Any
Location (x,y): Any
Your profession: TKA/Rifleman
Instructionson how to recreate the bug: Let your vehicle decay somewhat, then repair it and DO NOT store it. Ride it to a shuttle/starport. **Leave it out** and take the shuttle! When you get to your new location, you'll have to store the speeder before calling it, and when you call it again, it'll be back to the 'unrepaired' state, and you'll be out the credits you just spent on repairs.
