absolutely ridiculous. oh youll do the entry quest exit quest padawan trials.. didnt say.. entry quest might be days later..
you said do what you normally do.. well i sat in a field - because i normally wait for my time to have the ability to work on my jedi since unlocking post 9 - anyhow i sat in various fields waiting for some old guy to stop by.. and you tell me this is going to be my job for the next 3 days to pay off for the past 13 or 14 months i put into the game to GET a jedi slot? not acceptable.
what do you think this will solve.. i was online with 5 other people this morning and 3 of them got glowy in 10 minutes.. your only going to hold back the flood a bit till the dam bursts!!

Since there isn't a general Bug thread for Publish 10, I will post this here:
Smuggler tools(AUK's, WUK's, PLK's, Mol Clamps, etc.)no longer auto-pull from crates. This was reported numerous times on Test Center and you stated in the Stratics Dev chat that you were aware of the problem and that it would be fixed.
This really hampers Smugglers trying to make some money slicing equipment as it now takesover 20inventory slots just to sliceone full set of composite armor.

8 months grinding to get unlock message then nearly 2 months waiting for pub 10 just to get this crap...
Thunderheart for somone that was a beta tester before joing the SOE team you really dont have a clue do you...
Your just as bad as a Dev and as for CSR that's a joke in its out right...
As you can tell im one pissed off customer.. Yes customer..

hey TH, the people who unlocked their slots should maybe be in the group 1 , then people that have inner glow already and havent unlocked their fs slot yet and not grinded alot of holos should be in group 1 or 2 and the people that get the inner glow during patch ten should go in group 3 or 4 , we should get an email to wich group are we in , lets say a person with 4 professions grinded and 65 badges of poi and themeparks and quests and has inner glow in him or her what group that he fall in to ?

ok, i apologize for the big bright letters im abotu to use, but i think we need to beat some information into peoples heads here.
How and when does this visit happen?The old man will visit you when you have completed the requirements of the new path to becoming a Jedi.While this new path is still a secret, it is no where near as daunting as the holo-professions method.We have made additional provisions for those that worked partially through the old system.
Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man.
So a little interpretation in case you all still dont understand this
IF YOU ARE GLOWING CURRENTLY YOU WILL RECIEVE A VISIT FROM THE OLD MAN IN 1-3 DAYS.
THE GROUP SYSTEM IS ONLY FOR THE HOLO-GRINDERS WHO ARE NOT CURRENTLY GLOWING. IT IS SET UP THAT WAY SO THAT THEY CAN STILL DO THE JEDI QUESTS WITHOUT HAVING TO GET GLOWING AS RECOGNITION OF THEIR EFFORT IN HOLO-GRINDING.
hopefully that will answer peoples questions (if they bother to read this or half the other posts in this and many other threads)

i'm so tired of all the cop outs...so how are you going to regulate all the people going to the villiage AFTER the first phase? or should we just wait until all groups officially unlock their jedis?
just when i get excited about this game, it gets worse...

I must say that it wasn't thought out or communicated very well that we would have another wait for the old man visit after this publish went live.. i'm not very upset since i was planning on avoiding the village until the initial rush calmed down anyway. However, if I had taken the day off of work or school for this publish, I might be a bit upset.
I read that if you are glowing from the force due to the badges, you would get your visit right away. It hasn't been clarified, but I'm assuming that right away means the 1-3 day group. A little clarification would be appreciated.

Forced time sinks are bad, can't we all agree on that?
Forcing people to wait up to a month jus to enter the village and then making them wait around 18 weeks of "phases" just so they can finish the thing is just insulting.
Give us your money, and we'll make you sit around and wait!

because the force quests are supposed to be a mysterious adventure, not a hard written path.
