The 1337 d00dz are complaining because they have to come to the st00pid ID's now, the casuals are complaining because they got nerfed and the ID's are complaining because now we have been forcedto deal with the 1337 d3\/\/|)z who think WE got THEM nerfed. This change was NOT what we wanted as an ID community. I don't care if the holo-emotes look stupid or non-starwarsy, I don't care that my ability to do instant ID's were nerfed. Stat-migration handled in this matter is a high priority. CHANGE IT. Not please.. it was never supposed to go in this way in the first place, and I will not beg for a fix to a potential hotpoint. DON'T ruin the profession for the ID community. We get enough flak already from the 1337-speak team.

Well, one of the first thing most newbies do when they figure it out is stat mig, way to annoy the new player.

Speaking as a Master Image Designer, that's exactly what we didn't want! We're all for having a "critical function," but having that function given to us in the form of a nerf to the entire playerbase?! My god, we're going to get it worse than tailors did when decay went in. Yet another system implemented based off of player suggestions, but done in such a way that even those that suggested it don't want it. Please, for the love of god, at least don't remove the old migration method—we do not want to be the only way to migrate stats!

I don't post often, but I feel I need to post here. Limiting player Stat MIgration to the ID class is a bad idea. Perhaps make it far easier to have an ID migrate the stats, or further lengthen the time a players migration takes, but don't revoke it completely. Locating an ID is a near impossible task. The few you will be able to find will need 10 minutes to help you. if there are five people in front of you, it will take an hour to shift stats. I usually only play 2 hours at a time. Granted stat shifts arent done every day, but the proposed system will result in huge lines and more senseless waiting. Thumbs down.

Actualy Tray, I change my substats fairly often. granted i may be one of the few, but there are those of us that do.



had canceled because of the CU. Got talked into re subscribing just days before the NGE was started on Test Center (my home).

/cancel again and breaking CD's to be sure.

nice thing about being a online Dj..sony cant cencor what I say about this err..improvement..like they can on these forums.

Lets be realistic here. I'm a very long term members of the Ahazi community, and literally cant name a single image designer I could reliably go to for stat migration.








...it takes 35 minutes to level image designer...GUARANTEED...there will be about 300 to 600 on your server before the first day this is live...its called the next big income...and this gives image designers a very steady income...which is good...tho unexpected.

No one is forcing you to migrate someone's stats. Let the people who want to do this hang out in Coronet or Theed or Bestine and do it. It's not so simple. What if, every day, almost every twenty minutes, someone asked you to train their pet? And if you refused, then what? A lot of people (some I know, some I don't know, and some I don't want to know) know I am one of the few career ID's on my server. I would be constantly bombarded by tells to go to bumsvilleCorellia to change some stats for someone. Harrasment is already and issue for ID's who refuse to work sometimes. Repeated /tells and even E-Mails for us can be worse than lamerz who whine if they die in PvP. I see it now...

Which is exactly how it is for EVERY crafter profession, and Master Doctors? What's your point? there is none. If you don't want to...don't...if they send you hate tells...wait till they send you a few...like the idiot they are and report them...trust me....they do investigate harassment charges in game...

Your stats will still migrate as normal without an ID.

actually, viewing the original post .. it says "..this functionality has been revoked.." to me that says, i can't stat migrate anymore, at all, at any rate.. anybody on TC try this without an ID yet? with or without a station? kinda need a definitive answer otherwise this is just an argument over symantics just as skedoozy here is doing.I can't check it atm,i'm still at work



as one of my fellow ahazians points out, if an ID is required for any stat migration this is devastating because there are maybe 4 ID's on ahazi on any given day (not necessarily at the same time) and probably 3 of them are hologrinding..










and as i said to the other "ahazian"...there will be 300 to 600 by the end of the day...

Who said I changed stats daily. I was making a point of the time sink created by hunting down all these individual players in the dwindling player base to get services. If you want a time sink to keep looking for players to fullfill your needs in game then this is the game for you.


Im glad you just think of the time to getdoctor buff's is just the stand in line time. I guess for you there is no travel time or time set in there for even finding a doctor or telling around asking to get one. Perhaps on your server there is a 100% chance of always getting a doctor in the Coronet courtyard. (if you answer yes to that I know you are a liar. )






umm...as master doctors sit in the major npc cities, most servers coronet and theed, so id's will be in the ID tents, advertising this...the only place they can "migrate stats"...so you don't need to "find them" you GO to them...

They are getting to all the professions...one by one...two by two...selfish and impatient would be my words...Stop hating on the professions that get love...yours will eventually...just like theirs did now...Did you do this for all the other professions that have been fixed or revamped in some way...find something you don't like about it, complain, then say you aren't hating?...dude...bugs happen in EVERY online game...they are too complex NOT to have them...

You miss the point...people will grind to master ID BEFORE the minipublish comes out...and the ones that do, will be doing it for the money...so there will be PLENTY of people...may suck a bit you have to pay for something you did get for free...but hey, the fact you are getting it in 10 MINUTES...instead of 10 DAYS makes up for the 20k or so people will charge...prolly be more the first few weeks, but the price'll come down.

Uh,.. Have you any clue how often i tweek my stats? Sometimes iI will change 20 or 50 points around just because i got a new weapon with slightly different HAM costs than my last weapon... Or to be able to equip all of my armor after having to replace a piece..




On the flip side, I've *NEVER* migrated my stats and probably never will.


I "yam what I yam" and will make it work within the game mechanics.

    This is a terrible idea IMO. What about my jedi? How can I possibly follow the creed of being in hiding if I have to enter one of the 5 busiest cities in the game, and /shout "Need an ID for stat migration please!" any time I want to tweak my stats 5 or 10 points?


    Of all the things to help make ID's useful, this is not the way to go. If you want to do the insta-tweak by the booth, great! Revoking the slow normal process from the general populace is bad.
