My primary character is a wookiee. I wuv my wookiee
But the new jedi system is going to have your current character unlock the quests and become a jedi. And jedi are getting new robes. Wookiees cant wear anything but wookiee clothes
Does this mean a jedi wookiee is defenseless, because jedi cantwear normal armor after the publish? And wont look like a jedi?
Can't you add the option of being able to change to another race after the publish and after I'm done the Jedi Quests??? Or Maybe add a choice???? Which Character do you want to become Force sensitive, so I can choose my new slot.
This shouldnt be hard. If the code is in there to add the force trees and new jedi xp system to a current character, then it should be able to add it to any character in the account. You should allow us to make our second character slot, in the character select screen, then select 1 character to be force sensitive, in that screen, only once.

You know TH, I love this game, but you are pushing me dangerously close to packing it up and moving on. I can't believe that after players complained about the monotonous amount of grinding and character destruction that you had to endure to get jedi, you replace it with a new system that forces either character destruction or a monotonous amount of grinding.
Why is it that you guys just can't seem to get this simple concept after months of feed back from players?
----snip----
I just don't understand why a unison of players concerns is getting ignored...
The only reason I can imagine ismoney...
This new way is just a commercial way to ensure that people who want to keep their main character will grind their second character all over again. And thus play longer. And thus pay longer.
The DEVs that are active on this forumknow that we want the exact opposite, andthey still make us grind more?
My guess is that the DEVs couldn't win against the commercial departement.
Why should the commercial departement care that we're unhappy with the grinding as long as we pay ?

Will there be a way for those that didn't unlock our FS slots before the publish (or for those of us who didn't grind at all) to find out what our Holo professions were? I am very curious... My first one said Master Dancer, I would like to know what the others were.
Thanks!

The script that had that info will be on your character, butgetting that info would not really be feasible. Its a chewing gum thing. If we did it for one person, then we'd have to do it for everyone and then the next thing you know, everyone would want to know...
(I want to know too =P)
I'll try to answer the rest this weeknd. If not, then Monday.
Have a great weekend
First of all TH, opening the "This was your path" information is not as hard as you make it out to be. Any DB engineer worth their snuff could write a simple bit of code that would query that information and make it available to the individual player, and it wouldn't make one bit of difference one way or the other. It doesn't affect the game, it doesn't affect the mechanics, so there is no harm in revealing this information. (unless there were a few people that actually *DID* do one of their jedi professions prior to badges and things like that when "we weren't keeping track back then"...and then you'd have problems. (..and contrary to popular belief this *has* happened to someone in the past, where they already mastered their silent holo profession prior to holocrons and badges, and they had to master it a second time, and yes, I can give names.)
So in essense the only reason not to reveal this information would be if some devs were trying to cover up some faulty code from the past in order to keep the company from losing customers.
so my main is a wookiee and we know what a great advantage non wooks have with the composite armor and now the new armor that just went live. so IF jedi can wear armorus wooks would really become alot weaker. im just asking since i havent seen any posts on this. so if it has been posted , please fill me in ![]()
I don't know how long it is going to take to get 24 boxes but if the devs deem it a viable alternative to do it again it will probably won't take that long.

That last part really pisses me off...
You start by saying: "Hey don't freak out about having to destroy your main...if you want to keep your main character you just do the jedi quests twice so your second character becomes FS...no big deal...."
Non-FS to 24 FS boxes
Then you say "you won't want to grind jedi on both of your characters because that will be a lot of work."
