Funny, I spent the same thing, more actually since I have three accounts. And was in beta as well. Met a ton of other such folk at fan fest who've been around just as long and have a couple of accounts. A ton who were also in beta, we shared lots of stories.
But I guess attending Fan Fest automatically disqualifies us as Veteran players. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

Guys don't worry, everyone will get a chance to be in beta.
What difference will it make if fan fest attendees get in a week ahaead of everyone else?

I was in the original beta too. I have also been playing since launch and pay for 3 characters. Quit acting like you're something special, get over yourself.

As does the mentality of some of the so-called veteranswho take such pleasure in complaining about this whole issue. Please, you don't seriously mean to sit there and have the sheer audacity to suggest that while some of the people who signed up for Fan Fest did so only just to 'play the game early' and aren't serious about testing, that there's not far, far more of the crew who are whining and complaining that they're not being allowed in yet who are of *EXACTLY* the same mindsetwho trulycare nothing about serious testing? Give me a break....you'd havebetter luck trying to sell a Snoop Dogg Country & Western CD than getting people to buy that malarkey.

The Elitist mentality is coming from you and your fellow "we went to fan fest so we deserve beta" people. Im glad fan Fest was down the road from you. Im glad you hated it so much you came to the boards and whined it was boring. You clearly didnt go for the fan fest. If anything it would probably be quite interesting interacting with the Development team face to face and meeting other players. You went to get beta. You can deny it all you want but the fact you can sit there and say fan fest was boring when is it gonna end etc indicates where your coming from.
I know for a Fact theres people who went cause they are great fans of the Game. I know several who attended from Guilds I deal with on bloodfin. I have no issue with Fan Fest Atendees getting into beta cause thats what they used to sell atending the Fan Fest. "Go to Fan fest and we will give you JTL Beta."
What i do have a problem with is the way its being handled. Fan Fest People cause they paid even more money on top of the Monthly fees,buying the game etc are more important? Thats the way they seem to indicate things. People playing this game for 14+ months are honestly more Important to this game.
As far as selling a Snoop Dog country western CD? Youd be surprised what people will fall for.

Excellent, Good to know the ball is rolling.
I wish i could of been to the Fan Fest and got into betabut like many dedicated fans it was too expensive for me to travel from England.
My only hope is for an invite for being here a long time
I heard the beta will start on 8th October to 22nd October. Maybe Fan Fest Testers start earlier.i hope we get some more info about Non Fan Fest addendees applications, and I hope SOE do the right thing nd include Europeans in this Beta we always end up being left out(like the WoW Beta)

And what of those that didnt know about the fan fest or were busy with real life issues and couldnt make it to the fan fest? Do we get a chance to beta? If not thats bs cause there have been players playing this game since start(not refering to myself)that deserve a chance to beta that couldnt make it to the fan fest. Concider that sony.

Hey just a question here... What server does the beta test happen on? because its really unfair if the beta testers get to exploit space before everybody else on bria does (if thats the case) Unless they have to delete their beta characters or something... Please could someone help me out with this question?
