Stop asking for Top 5s and "What is wrong." Concentrate on your hand-picked Correspondents' Top 5s.

DO ask for a "Name one thing to improve Star Wars Immersion" thread. Maybe get some Correspondent that is not doing anything else to lead that up.

My TOP Issues:

  • Backpacks are very un-immersive as storage devices in a building. At FanFest, I was led to believe that converting chests, armoires and bookcases into storage devices was not an overly hard thing. Please do this.

  • Now that we have secured word of the "bacta" instead of "cloning" change, I would like to present a new Star Wars continuity issue, which is: Lack of Imperial Control. We need an Imperial Crackdown, one which puts terror in Rebels' hearts, one which pushes people into the Imperial camp out of fear.

  • We need more holograms in the game. Holoart, holograms attached to signs, holograms displaying when you take a mission. Holograms are VERY immersive, and VERY Star Wars thematic.

Since the Weekly Roundtable Discussion is so wide and mostly consists of long time bugs or reoccurring complaints about balance issues, there really is no discussion here. Thunderheart seldom responds in it and when it happens, it often ends in flames and many are only getting frustrated and get the feeling the devs does not listen.

I think the Live Update thread is a much better format for this kind of open feedback since it's shorter and gives a more structured way of reporting bugs/features/etc.

Also, as someone said, a Community top 5 would be a good idea. Let each correspondent collect 5 issues that their profession/area consider the most important beside their own profession specific and then choose the Community top 5 of all those collected.

This way we could get a more structured open feedback in the form of bug reports/complaints still let the public have a direct line and by having the correspondents collect the top 5 issues, it would give those more weight.

Mornin TH,

Just to throw this out there...

At some point last year, during a discussion on Slicing, you made the statement that Slicing would make a good subject for a Friday Feature, and that you would try to get it worked in. That was the last we ever heard of it. Would it still be possible to geta Friday Feature on Slicing? I know we're in que to get it changed in some form or fashion...but that's still MONTHS away. For the present, there are still lots of players, Smugglers included, who aren't very well educated about Slicing. A Friday Feature could go a long way to help this.

BTW...GreenMarine showing up in the Smuggler forum is the best thing to happen for us since launch. Thanks alot guys.

My TC/TC2 characters do not have any crystals to verify, but it has been said that all existing crystals in the game will be changed to color crystals... My understanding of the Jedi Archives was that existing crystals and pearls would need to be "tuned" by Jedi to see the stats and that those stats would be similar to what is on thecurrent crystals and pearls... So which is it going to be? Will there be some notification in game to let the 75% or so of the game population that do not visit the forums know this change is coming?

With the upcomming jedi enclaves i've noticed a large, VERY large, number of chairs in each respective location. The light jedi more than the dark seem to suggest SITTINGand even for a possible long period of time, does this imply that the sliding/warping problem with sitting in chairs has been resolved or is on the track to being resolved? Does it have anything to do with the vehicle warping also?

i'd hate to see a bunch of jedi sliding around all over the place no matter how humorus it would be lol

I would like to see issues that affect everyone discussed like someone elsesaid.

UI issues and settings not persisting come to mind. That and the inventory and backpack sort orders not saving. It's tough to keep track of items when the deck is constantly being shuffled.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

A few things that I would like to see discussed...

1. Email Revamp

Basically all we have at the moment is an Inbox. Are the developers considering expanding on this and enhancing the Email system within the game to incorperate (but not limited to), Sent Items Folder, Several Customizable Storage Folders. (Options such as Create new Folder, then rename folder, transferring mails from one folder to another).

2. Extended Bio Text

The existing section where players can enter and edit their own Biography is very short. I for one have started writing a nice little bio when about half way through I am suddently stopped by this limitiation. Would it not be possible to extend this section to several times it's current size.

3. Automated Email notification for Harvester's Stopping.

Despite a vigilant attempt to keep all harvesters up-to-date with maintaince and power, there can be times when you may have put in less power/maintaince than what you thought, and for days at time you can believe your harvester is running, when in fact it is not. In addition to this harvesters automatically stop once a resource has dried up or shifted, again with no notification that your harvester is sitting there redundant. Could an toggle option be included to receive/not receive email notification of harvester's halting.

4. Option to show Online Status.

I've heard this mentioned a while back but not seen any further discussion on it. An option in the users setting to show their online status to others. Useful if you wish to come online to carry out a certain task but without the interpution of tells. At times if I wanted to only check my emails or do a quick harvester run, I could get bogged down with tells, when I'm not wishing to engage in conversation for any particular reason. I think i've seen it commented that the one stumbling block to this would be bank tip notifications. Prehaps this is one area where a sacrifice is made. Meaning that once you do toggle the option to Online, you will only THEN receive anything that has been bank tipped to you and the tipper would then also receive their notification.

Seomon's Questions:

Will we ever get our Deadeye?

Um... We have our DeadEye. Just head on down to your local recruiter and buy the schematic for 500 FP and do some Alderaan Flora missions and get your neighborhood Doc to cook you up a batch. We've had it since the end of Act II. You may have missed that part in the mission breifing of Act III. The Coordinator told you that the schematic was available from the recruiter if you read carefully.

Is there anyway to get our 'Wifebeaters' back in the game as a craftable item? I miss those

I agree. Ubese Armor Shirts are close, but many people would prefer the "A Style" T-shirt. (they may be more willing to give them back if we don't call them "wifebeaters")

Can you hotfix composite armor so that Stun is stuck in the base resists? That would fix some combat balancefor the shortrun.

In my opinion, each armor should have its advantages and disadvantages. Composite should not be the"be all - end all" of armor. I think we'll see big changes in the Combat Balance that will highlight the differences and advantages of other types of armor. Plus who's not sick of seeing every person look like clones with everyone in red or black composite?

Jedi should have their own private war. Keep them away from the Stormtrooper vs. Marine, Rebel vs. Imperial war. It is rediculous that they would have any impact on the GCW anyways in Darth Vader's era. A Jedi's fun should be from interaction with other Jedi (epic duels), rather than from slaughter massive groups of regular players or from ganking lone players in Starports.

Well then, there's good news for you. Jedi will have to PvP other Jedi just to maintain their ranking and skills, let alone advance. I don't think that will leave them with a whole lot of time for slaughtering massive groups of regular players or ganking lone players.

There is a bug Im presuming in game that everyone has complained about, but Ill tell you just in case. The missions on Dantooine dont always pay out. And I still get thrown from my bike. I don't know if its missions on all planets but I play on Dantooine alot and alot of times you kill the lair and the mission still is open. And you dont get paid so I have to delete it.

Thanks for your time,

This has been reported many times over the past few weeks, personally and bya few others through the in-game /bug process. A recent visit to other Professional forums has revealed that it is NOT server specific, nor is it only afficting Dantooine. However Dant. does seem to be primarily effected.

A word that this has been noted and a fix isbeing evaluatedwill go a long way for customer satisfaction.

1 day no response

Now non-response time is 5 days ...

Thus far the best player answer has been not to use specials for the final blow to the lair. I've tested this theory and for all practicality it works.

However this is a work around for a process that was working up to a few weeks ago. Is this the way the game is supposed to be played?

TH, in your "In Live" thread I'm haranguing you again about the SBD proliferation on the Corvette. I don't mean to sound accusatory, but as a player since launch and master combat profession I speak for many like myself who feel deprived of the next step up in difficulty. For a couple weeks the Corvette was seriously challenging in a GOOD way, then suddenly cranked up to "uber-l337 24 hour power gamer" with no further comment.

Even if that further comment were just "wait for the combat rebalance", I'd actually be delighted to hear that. But as a long-time player it infuriates me that you produced and tested this fantastic new content and then, with no testing at all, perverted it into another grind. I don't want the loot! I want an immersive adventure, and there's nothing immersive about six immortal SBDs in every closet.

I couldn't have said this better myself.

1. I still have crates of xg mines in my house i can't use. ETA?

2. I have a ticket open for the above mentioned mines. It seems to be gone. Was my ticket (which i had kept open for months checking for an answer on the mines) deleted intentionally, deleted automatically, or is the ticket system having problems?

3. All of the major problems the board system had before the upgrade are still there. Can you see if Lithium can come up with a better answer?

4.I've started rubberbanding again when hopping off a vehicle. It was better for a while and has recently gotten worse.

5. Do you guys have any real idea of what the combat balance will specifically include or is it just and across the board nerf to make the game harder? I've seen dev posts saying you'll be gathering ideas for it. If you still need to gather ideas then you shouldn't have started yet. Not that the lack of a plan has stopped SOE before, but have you started coding the combat balance? And why would you start before you gathered all the ideas?

6. I was shooting through the wall of the cantina in Bestine last night. I was outside, the target was inside. You might want to look into this.

7. Would it be too much to ask that turrets have a targeting delay on them? When players control them they shoot each time you click on the target's name in the list. I don't know about you but i can click pretty fast. Insta-death from a large turret.

8,Blowing upa base the the single most anti-climacticthing in the game. I can kill a bantha and i get more show when it dies than i do when a base blows up. Is anything in the works to make this a little more fun to watch than "poof-it's-gone"?

9. I did some testing on data from the best resource site around and the quality of resources is lower in general. Steal nerf or coincidence?

I guess that'll do for now.
