I agree with the above poster that we should have the option to do the normal slow stat migration or use the ID to do it in 10 mins. As it is now they can price gouge and we have no option, That was a poor decision that the Dev's made.

Now on to the major bugs:

Since this patch the whole group mission has been screwed up making the game pretty much a solo only game.

If you do missions solo then all is normal.

But if you group with any person or even your own droid or pets then the problems arise. There are so many bugs I am not sure of them all but here is what I have seen in the last 24 hours.

1.) Mission completion for a mission will notreport even though it's done.

2.) Sometimes you complete the mission and the waypoint remains even though lair is gone.

3.) The mission reward split is not reported.

4.) The mission reward may not be paid at all for some members of group.

5.) Pets may get a share of the reward (this one pissed me off when I got paid half the reward with my own droid)

6.) Sometimes reward is paid into cash instead of the bank.

So this has resulted in making SWG a solo only gameas no one wants to group now because you won't get paid for at least some missions. Some people are saying you will only get paid your share of your own missions and thats all. I know with a friend I got paid half the reward and he got nothing. This is a game breaking bug and needs to be fixed immediately otherwise they should remove pub 8.1 till they can fix it.

It's so screwed up it's impossible to tell all what is wrong.I reported it to a CSR and they said they were unaware of any such problem. Then I saw it again today so I asked my guild and they all knew about it. So I reported a bug post.

Server: Eclipse

Issue: Toon is 'floating' in ID windows when on Lok (the animation when in deep water at rest).

I've gone to Naboo and Coronet to see if it was just Lok. Both planets were fine. Then I went to Talus to see if it had to do with the fact that there is an ID tent on the world. Talus was fine too. When I returned to Lok, the problem was back.

Major issue since the last publish!

If you are grouped only the mission owner gets paid. However the moey is still what you would get if it got split!

example: if there are 2 people in the group and you have a mission that pays 10k the owner gets 5k and the other person gets 0!

Not really bugs, more of just some things to consider.

-Stat migration change is very bothersome. Making IDers vital or not, giving them the sole power to alter stats is too much. IMO the fact that their stat migration is much faster would alone make them highly valued. Instead now you have a high dependancy on a rather unused skill. It's hard enoguh finding an IDer, and now if we want a vital part of the game we have to spend time searching for one...

-Change timer is too long. It was calculated by someone and came out to 7700 minutes of waiting if you did ID non-stop. That's 128.33 hours of straight non-stop grinding, and you can't even do it AFK like musician or dancer! Not to mention it only took me around 28 hours to master Teras Kasi from 0/0/0/0 brawler... So, not only do you have a skill that's vital to the game, but you've now made it extremely slow, difficult, and annoying to gain. Essentially, any of those people who would now make an IDer to make up for the stat migration, will be turned off by the extremely slow skill gain. All you've really done is made the skill frustrating for everyone using it. Even the Master IDers that don't have to bother with a 128.3 hour grind are annoyed with it. The timer should be at least halved, it's just too long.

Robo and Powerchord:

The Mission Bug you describe is described in another thread and essentially works like this (all members of the group should watch their bank balances and cash balances to verify for themselves):

The BUG: The total proceeds from a completed mission seem to be going directly to the bank account of the owner of the mission, and the owner does NOT get notification of mission completion and payment. Then, the software apparently takes the shares out of the CASH balance of the owner of the mission to pay off the other group members. If the owner of the mission does NOT have enough cash (not banked creds, but cash creds) to cover the shares due to the group, the group does not get paid (or only some of them will, depending on how many credits the owner had in his cash balance).

There is a WORK-AROUND: Make sure, as the owner of the mission(s), that you have enoughCASH creds to pay out the shares. And of course, you can always bank tip those who did not get paid, but that adds a 5% surcharge.

I sent an email toRuneSabre about this -- I am surprised there have not been more posts about the problem. Since this ISa bug that seems to affect everyone who groups and does missions (at least, the missions obtained via a non-player city's generic mission terminal) and there IS a workaround, I think it would be helpful to have it posted on the Announcements board or something...

During a stat migration I lost my connection to SWG. When I came back in, the ID interface was gone, so I had no way of accepting the changes. There need to be some text commands to allow us to either cancel or accept the changes.

LM, that is insane. Thats not a work around. I shouldn't have to carry a bunch of cash around and get a calculator out just to do what the game used to do properly until pub 8.1

Plus I KNOW for a FACT that the money isn't always paid, maybe sometimes but not always. I watched the completion of a mission I got a cash payout of half the mission reward and NOTHING into the bank and my buddy got NOTHING. So paying him would have been a money losing idea.

When I reported this to the CSR they said "They were unaware of any such issue" and that was Saturday!

So we need to keep reporting it till the get on it as it appears they don't even know there is a problem.

PLEASE REMOVE THE TIMER!!!!!

There is absolutely no reason for it. It does not benefit the ID profession at all. The only people the timer benefits is those that are already master ID's. As a novice ID, not only do I find it entirely BORING to do what littel ID I can because I have to wait on the timer, but I also find it near impossible to gain any customers and thus any xp. Who walks into a salon and asks a novice ID for a change when there are 4 masters there as well that can do so much more. I almost have to pay people to let me ID them. ID myself you say? Who wants to spend 120 hrs (give or take some) of their life watching a timer count down? Any fun that was in leveling this profession before the patch has been completely removed. Now the only fun in ID is being a master.

if you want my prediction though, they'll probably take that timer away when they change the jedi path. up till now image designer was just one small speedbump on the road to jedi. once they change jedi path to quest based, grinding image designer will lose all appeal to everyone except those that actually WANT to be image designers. then they'll probably reduce or removethe timer.

By then the damage will already be done, though. All the people who actually want to be image designers currently will more or less be fed up, angry and SOE will face (even) more animosity.

If this is their strategy, which I doubt, I must say it's rather insane. What it does is that because of the actions of a few, alot more people are punished. The "few" being rather many in this case (hologrinders).

You're going to fix the group mission payout bug soon right. I mean, especially with your militaristic approach to forced grouping this bug makes it a pain to group.

I was experiencing a problem getting payouts when doing missions solo. I have not tracked down exactly when this happens, but it happened to me both on Lok and on Naboo with Gurk, Plains Tusk Cat and Mauler missions. On Lok, I did not pull pets to get the missions but for one I used a pet to help finish it. On Naboo, I did pull pets to get better missions and then finished the missions without them. I did four gurk missions and one of each of the other and I only received a payout (watching the inventory window to be sure) for one mission.

Logging out and back in did not show any change, nor did being gone overnight. The money just never went to my account.

Veldcath:

On page 3 of this thread, I described as best I could what I think this bug is, and how I and my groups have been able to work around it. Reading your post, I am not sure that this bug always manifests the same way (were you soloing or were you in a group with other players?), but this is the way it seemed to work for us:

The BUG: The total proceeds from a completed mission seem to be going directly to the bank account of the owner of the mission, and the owner does NOT get notification of mission completion and payment. (The other members DO seem to get notification of mission completion and the amount of their shares...)

I know this has been reported as a bug by many players.
