Thread: Publish 8.1: Image Designer Issues
I agree with the above poster that we should have the option to do the normal slow stat migration or use the ID to do it in 10 mins. As it is now they can price gouge and we have no option, That was a poor decision that the Dev's made.
Now on to the major bugs:
Since this patch the whole group mission has been screwed up making the game pretty much a solo only game.
Server: Eclipse
Issue: Toon is 'floating' in ID windows when on Lok (the animation when in deep water at rest).
I've gone to Naboo and Coronet to see if it was just Lok. Both planets were fine. Then I went to Talus to see if it had to do with the fact that there is an ID tent on the world. Talus was fine too. When I returned to Lok, the problem was back.

-Stat migration change is very bothersome. Making IDers vital or not, giving them the sole power to alter stats is too much. IMO the fact that their stat migration is much faster would alone make them highly valued. Instead now you have a high dependancy on a rather unused skill. It's hard enoguh finding an IDer, and now if we want a vital part of the game we have to spend time searching for one...
-Change timer is too long. It was calculated by someone and came out to 7700 minutes of waiting if you did ID non-stop. That's 128.33 hours of straight non-stop grinding, and you can't even do it AFK like musician or dancer! Not to mention it only took me around 28 hours to master Teras Kasi from 0/0/0/0 brawler... So, not only do you have a skill that's vital to the game, but you've now made it extremely slow, difficult, and annoying to gain. Essentially, any of those people who would now make an IDer to make up for the stat migration, will be turned off by the extremely slow skill gain. All you've really done is made the skill frustrating for everyone using it. Even the Master IDers that don't have to bother with a 128.3 hour grind are annoyed with it. The timer should be at least halved, it's just too long.
Robo and Powerchord:
The Mission Bug you describe is described in another thread and essentially works like this (all members of the group should watch their bank balances and cash balances to verify for themselves):
The BUG: The total proceeds from a completed mission seem to be going directly to the bank account of the owner of the mission, and the owner does NOT get notification of mission completion and payment. Then, the software apparently takes the shares out of the CASH balance of the owner of the mission to pay off the other group members. If the owner of the mission does NOT have enough cash (not banked creds, but cash creds) to cover the shares due to the group, the group does not get paid (or only some of them will, depending on how many credits the owner had in his cash balance).
There is a WORK-AROUND: Make sure, as the owner of the mission(s), that you have enoughCASH creds to pay out the shares. And of course, you can always bank tip those who did not get paid, but that adds a 5% surcharge.
I sent an email toRuneSabre about this -- I am surprised there have not been more posts about the problem. Since this ISa bug that seems to affect everyone who groups and does missions (at least, the missions obtained via a non-player city's generic mission terminal) and there IS a workaround, I think it would be helpful to have it posted on the Announcements board or something...

PLEASE REMOVE THE TIMER!!!!!
There is absolutely no reason for it. It does not benefit the ID profession at all. The only people the timer benefits is those that are already master ID's. As a novice ID, not only do I find it entirely BORING to do what littel ID I can because I have to wait on the timer, but I also find it near impossible to gain any customers and thus any xp. Who walks into a salon and asks a novice ID for a change when there are 4 masters there as well that can do so much more. I almost have to pay people to let me ID them. ID myself you say? Who wants to spend 120 hrs (give or take some) of their life watching a timer count down? Any fun that was in leveling this profession before the patch has been completely removed. Now the only fun in ID is being a master.

if you want my prediction though, they'll probably take that timer away when they change the jedi path. up till now image designer was just one small speedbump on the road to jedi. once they change jedi path to quest based, grinding image designer will lose all appeal to everyone except those that actually WANT to be image designers. then they'll probably reduce or removethe timer.
Veldcath:
On page 3 of this thread, I described as best I could what I think this bug is, and how I and my groups have been able to work around it. Reading your post, I am not sure that this bug always manifests the same way (were you soloing or were you in a group with other players?), but this is the way it seemed to work for us:
The BUG: The total proceeds from a completed mission seem to be going directly to the bank account of the owner of the mission, and the owner does NOT get notification of mission completion and payment. (The other members DO seem to get notification of mission completion and the amount of their shares...)

I know this has been reported as a bug by many players.
