I'm torn on this one. I would like to see this ingame, BUT........lol. I think this armor will actually suck (Boba was the BADA$$, not the armor). If they make it as good as composite EVERYONE will have a set. If it's not as good everyone will still use composite.

This should be a rare drop, not schematics. Weapon and armorsmiths have been getting all the love since launch (they have not been broken or gimped as Chefs and DEs have been).

So.... Now I get to log into Boba Fett wanabess from now on?

I'm staying open minded. RIS is a really good set of armor. And really hard to get. I hope that this armor is in the same league. So that someone who sees someone it it, goes WOW. That guy is pro.

This has been said previously - make certain armours have certs like weapons.

Why should a Human Artisan with Marksman 0400 be able to beat me (Marksman 4144, Carbineer 0020)? I have more skills - but no armour. Should a non-combat profession be allowed to wear composite? No, in the same way they shouldn't be able to wield an Elite Carbine.

To stop loads of people running round in the same armour - cert specific types of armour.

As a Wook, I realise I wouldn't be able to wear Mandalorian armour. However, that doesn't mean I can't still loot it and keep it as a trophy. Ditto for professions too..

Give Mandalorian armour a cert - perhaps for all Elite Combat Professions - that way we can limit the number of people running round in it.

I'd also be tempted to ask for lower stats than composite. Obviously it will look much cooler, which gives the wearer a dilema.... look cool, or better protection...

Just some thoughts.

Omg Shug tell me you're not making Mandalorian armor craftable, plz tell me I didnt read what I just thought I read. You seem to be hinting that Mandalorian will be craftable by saying "just make sure you know a good armorsmith". Now, how big of a breach in Continuity is that going to create?

Alright yeah, bringing in a dungeon with the "Death Watch" is pushing it, but its tolerable since I can see that you guys want this armor to be available to players and this is a great way to do that. But oh please god tell me you're bringing it in the form of loot drops only and not schematics!! Making this stuff craftable is going to be so against continuity I couldnt even begin to explain it. Mandalorians were as you said all but wiped out by the Jedi a very long time ago. With them went the knowledge of how to create this armor. You cant tell me that some member of the Death Watch is holding information that would let a normal armorsmith make a suit of this stuff?

Not to mention Mandalorian armor requires Mandalor, a metal that can only be found on one planet that isnt in this game.I really dont see how you could make it craftable without creating a hole in continuity the size of Endor.

Good points here.

I'm not looking forward to logging in and seeing everyone running around in Mandalorian armor like everyone is running around in composite now.

Also Shung S E R I O U S L Y, this going out of the way to get armor smiths to craft stuff is getting out of hands. They are already billionares . Adding a F E W uber weapons/armor to the game would be FINE

I serisouly do not think rewarding us with a schem for armorsmiths to make us MANDALORIAN armor,a way to make this story of getting this armor well decent.

Id rather see long multi tiered hard quests that reward you handsomly with a full DECENT suit...and not just some schem its just plain blah to be rewarded by these people with ANOTHER schem

Last time I checked anything good in this game is made, you dont find uber weapons/armor you gotta find parts and then craft it.

Rewarding us with a suit for LONG LONG LONG HARD WORK is not going to kill the community

I cant agree with you on this. Here is why: If the armor has decent stats people will find away around the ai and everyone will be wearing this armor and armorsmiths will get the shaft. Or, the armor has crappy stats(ie like faction armor) and no matter how cool it is no one will bother with it.

Second there are uber drops(exceptional and legendary) and no armorsmith or weaponsmith can come close to touching the stats on these items.

Lastly, who cares if armorsmiths are rich. More power to them

I say NO to Mandalorian armor....

You have already almost ruined SW Continuity by adding player jedis, now you want to add an armor that ONE character in the whole SW universe uses...

so, how about adding Darth Vader's costume too?

Please, add some new armor yes, but do not play with Mandalorian...

So this means Master Bounty Hunters wont be happy since they cant fight anything well at all....and since they are taking away mind damage next patch BH lost its one and only single decent attack...great

How about you wait until the NEW attacks come out befor you grip about being nerfed in the new patch with the lose of Mind Damage. THIS IS COMING FROM A RIFLEMAN that only when rifle so I could attack the mind and found I like some of the other speacials also. And I happen to belive the you can have a KD Dizzy combo AND flame people I think thoughs are pretty good attacks myself.

I'm not a Star Wars nerd but was Mandalorian armor immune to Light Sabers? (except the joints i.e Helmet to Body etc) so why not fix the Saber damage type and give Mandalorian armor huge defense against it but 40% resist to everything else? that way it woundn't become the new Composite and you would see more Bounty Hunters wearing it for Jedi missions.

ps Please don't let Armorsmiths make it they have the most money in the game and Armorsmiths from this timeline would have no idea how to make it anyway. Just have a non tradeable set/piece given as one time quest reward.
