Thread: On Wookiee Armor
I have a very simple (as in stupid ?) suggestion to make for wookies. i think it would strike a balance between SW look&feel and character playability. the idea goes like this :
WHY NOT GIVE WOOKIES SOME FORM OF "BUILT-IN ARMOR" INSTEAD OF HAM BONUSES ?
Let's say 20% kinetic, 5-10% others, cumulative with some other kind of armour (for a total of 50+20=70% kinetic, matching other players in that respect). The HAM bonuses are absolutely insignificant when you consider game mecanics : Buff, buff caps, raw damage delt, compo armors.
We could have some non-battledressed wookies back on the field by then.
Please give wookies Composite Armor
Tired of being Second class players, Do Not Care what the art work looks like, so Just Copy what you use for Composite. everyone else get to use it, why not wookie.
I am tired fo dieing and not being able to compete with those who have 80%+ armor and I got nothing, and GSP don't last enough.
Yes it is my fault for picking a wookie, I would have deleted the wookie but I have spent 6 months playing it, and I have be hologrinding the wookie, do not to lose all that work.
How about giving us the option of change Race form Wookie to any other with out losing all the work we did.

stop with all the fancy "wookie armor" concepts, and just let us use composite! We demand fair and equal treatment. Every race can wear composite armor except us. I shouldn't have to switch races and delete my charcter just to be treated like a player and not an animal. And that cardboard crap you gave us isn't worth jack! How hard can it be to just let us where composite. a whole lote easier than coding in whole new armor that's sucks. It was sure nice of you tospend your time givingthe Entertainers a droid that shoots foam and coding in those useless holoemotes for the ID's to pass out, while wookies lay dead in the streets because they have not been able to compeet in PVP since this game went live due to a lack of personal protection that every other race in this game has the advantage of using.
Wookiee armor will always be a joke, as long as EVERYONE ELSE can wear Composite. Sure, it's getting "revamped" in the Combat Revamp, but Wookiees will always be inferior. I would delete my Wookiee, but I already have my Jedi, and I don't want to risk losing him. I would rather be able to change my race than wear this garbage Wookiee armor. I'm tired of everyone else having an advantage over me, only because they can wear Composite. And, I don't want to have to change my character into some Center of Being hybrid just so I can stay alive. I want to change my race... I would like to see some sort of reward or some thing that gives people the ability to change their race... even if it is only once. Had I known that Wookiees were going to be the most inferior race in the game, I would never have made him. There needs to be some kind of disclaimer that says, "ATTENTION: You will be inferior if you choose this race."

Iamjediptc, you gave no reasons why you're against Wookiees getting Composite. You just said you're against it. Why? Do you like being inferior to every other race in the game? I sure don't. If I can't wear Composite, I would like some form of alternative that is equal to it. I'm tired of walking around with a big target on my back. Time and time again, when I'm competing for looting rights, people drag Krayts/monsters (depending on what I'm doing) over to me to kill me. Why? Because Wookiee armor is a joke.

Itd be nice to get some of this sooner rather than later

I'm checking into this now. I'm hoping we can do these as a Friday Feature soon
