Thunderheart, is there any chance of having these crafting mission NPC's placeable in player cities? Been a while since we got anything new, and it doesn't sound too tricky.

Why solicit feedback from this small sliver of the overall fanbase that reads the forumwhen you could be getting much more meaningful feedback from all those people that are actually playing the game?
I've never been a big fan of Dev bashing, but this man does have a very damn good point
This really isn't dev bashing. It's a good point and should be taken seriously.
Not only should feedback be taken in game but they could also hold system wide voting in game.
Example. You login and a popup box appears:
POLL: Should the wait on Starports...
A.) Be reduced to 5 minutes
B.) Be kept at 10 minutes
You choose A or B and then continue playing the game. After about a week or so the devs would have somewhere between 200K to 300K responses.
Real simple way to get a feel for the communities opinion on something...
The poing that p4Samwise is making here is important. Since launch I've seen nerf after nerf (not as much these days) because a few people (who spend more time here than improving they're game) would raise a stink...
See where I'm going with this?

Why should someone do damage control. Would be a waste of time. We are just a minority, a sliver, so we can be ignored and as theyI said, they get valuable feedback from talking to people in game, so, quick, everybody log into the game again. They might talk to you any second. Really.

Damage Control?
Thats easy....read the professions forums. Usually each one has a STATE OF OUR PROFESSION, 19 QUESTIONS, etc going on for the past YEAR.

You'd think after a year, I would have been involved in this so-called in-game questioning or at the very least someone I know...
After posing this question to several people I have turned up the following results...
25 1 year + players = Never polled
12 "Newer" Players (under 6 months) = Never polled
So who then is being asked?

How did we get the devs to add wookiee armor if we're just the vocal minority?

I have been playing with no problems since day 1 on this hardware, no drivers, etc changed, only today's patch.
Three times now, I have crashed with the following blue screen (complete BSOD).
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
File that caused it: NV4_DISP.DLL
I have a 64 mb NVIDIA GeForce 4200 and 1 gig of system RAM.
Winxp Home.
This happened once while loading after a shuttle, once while crafting and once while just running.

IMO the wookie armor is way 2 strong, especially with kenetic as its special, it can get 40%stun 80%kin with 60 base from what i have seen so far with a MUCH less HAM encumb....get ready for the reign of the wookies

I am a Wookie on Sunrunner and am excited to see my new armor choices. I would like to suggest that wookies be able to wear a wrap around the waist with these armor sets. My arse got a bit cold in the first set of armor. I also would like the option to have a Bio-enhanced garment other than a bandolier to wear while i have my armor on. Lets allow for wookies to wear waist wraps under armor. And allow some of the nice defensive mods that others get when they wear muscle shirts and reinforced t-shirts under thier armor. My wookie arse need covering with some +4 melee/+17 stun def wraps. Current waist wraps don't use reinforced fiber panels and that need to change.
Thank you for considering my counsil

scanners have been broken since 9.1, they say cross-referencing blah blah and then do nothing. no TEF.

This patch totally BUGGED our base. You guys put the race track starting point in the middle of our city. Now none of our dish turrets or covert detectors will give players TEFs. The turrets and detector detect that a covert is a rebel and tells them that it crossed referenced them as a rebel operative, but they aren't given a TEF.
This is really disasterous for us. Coverts can just waltz over to our base and do whatever they want, since none of our equipment gives them a TEF anymore. We wasted tons of factionpoint on stuff that doesn't do what its supposed to anymore. And this bug just came in this patch...so I guess its related to the fact that the race starts in the middle of our city now?
