Thread: Entertainer Quest

My point is that this thread was not made for us to whine and worry in. It was made to talk constructively about the "Entertainer Quest", and up until now I have seen maybe 15 posts that did this.
well thats my point to LeBob, I have posted ideas in dancer/ entertainer/ musician/ in-concept threads about ideas. I have posted numorous times throughout the time this game has been live because i've been here since day one. Durring that time we have seen 1 reply post from a red name and it was for the dancer school thread. The musician cor. (NJ) has not been communicated with and basicly know's nothing more of whats going on then us. I asked for a reply from TH in a constructive way early on, I simply wanted to know what "new" thing he wanted us to discuss since nothing has changed since all of those other posts. Waited over a week and then replied again. The second reply wasn't as nice because TH lived up to my expectations of simply not responding. This thread has gotten out of hand because of the "topic". Its like a teacher who walks in class and say's "discuss". The class say's discuss what? and the teacher has already left the room. I'm sorry but untill we get some real communication here their is no reason to discuss this thread. There are already threads made for idea discussion.
Either way, I think the outcome will and should to some degree depend on our maturity and constructiveness particularly in a dev thread.
The outcome right now directly depends on the devs ability to communicate. The result is speaking for itself.

Here's a novel idea for entertainers who have a difficult time making money: Cover charges.
Cantinas should have cover charges to enter based on the number of entertainers performing and/or the skill levels of the entertainers inside. The cover charges should get distributed amongst the entertainers. This will eliminate tips but also force those selfish non-tippers to contribute something, and might help our poor but necessary entertainers actually make a buck. Just my 2 cents.

Since cover charges would be distributed amongst entertainers, entertainers would have an incentive to migrate to less populated cantinas in order to get a larger share of the covers at the door. Maybe it will bring some of our "ghost towns" back to life.

One word.
"Genius"...
I wish I'd thought of it, but then I'd have been 1 starred for it like the majority of my dancer related posts have been. ![]()
- Gabriel' Nightstalker. Chimaera, MD/MM (MD means Master Dancer btw
)
ooo cover charges! Wookiee dance gear! props! NPC tippers!
too much good stuff!
and can I blush for getting a five star rating on my last post here? ![]()
Still interested in hearing more about these entertainer quests. I am SO excited that there may be a quest soon that I complete solely on the basis of performing. I'm not kidding, I'm really geeked up about it (in an elegant, dancer-type way of course). ![]()
When will these be on Test Center? Will they scale with your level in the professions?
