All I wanted to say is that I myself busted my ass, the honest way to get to chef and now that I'm big in the business, your about to throw me right back down. While I have yet to witness the change myself, nothing too good has yet to come out from others comments. I want you to know all the days wasted to make it to chef and if my main profession is ruined then you can consider yourself one member short. I won't play a game that messed up how good I was doing. Please reconsider and just deal with minor issues such as items looking the same. Thanks.

Now with milking, does this mean new buildings such as stables. They will work as a milking station, where you have to collect animals and "deposit" them into the stable and you can let them be milked. You would only be allowed so many animals in there of course.

Greetings Food fanatics.............................

I was going to write a long detailed message about what it is to be a Master Chef. I'm happy to say that this is completely not needed. I've just combed the forums on the Chef Revamp and I've got to say that there are a whole lot of smart people out there. Pretty much all of my concerns over the Chef profession have been addressed. I want to thank everyone who made suggestions. This is why I'm posting a message:

Thank you Dev team for revamping the Chef profession. I was wondering if we were ever going to get some love from you. This goes out to the Devs, keep workin on the Chef, keep readin these forums, and you can create a Chef profession that will be exciting and we can all enjoy.

Thank you

I just made a Barrel of Breath of Heaven. There is a bug, as the barrel was no different than a small glass. Both had Quantity 15% for 2 uses before experimentation.

id just like to chime in on the containers issue. Ive not been on test myself so Ive no idea about the resource requirements, but I dont think its fair to force chefs to become master artisans just for componants. What the hell does engineering have to do with making beer or stew? Sod all.

The containers should NOT require componants, unless those componants can be made either in domestic arts or the chef profession. I have my character template all planned out, and it doesnt include taking stupid skills unrelated in any way to my main chosen profession. Also, by all accounts the resource requirements are far far too high. According to a post on the chef forum, to cover the cost of using casks a 20K crate of drinks would have to go up to 60K! For a pathetic bonus like +5 uses per item, and thats just totally unacceptable.

Lower the resource requirements, remove the componants or move them to the domestic arts/chef skilltrees and make them worth using by at least doubling the current bonuses they give, or else your going to find a hell of a lot of chefs using nothing but small glasses.

As a customer and a good customer to Flurrys chefs I se nothing worth wasting my money on in the new chef swstem your proposing.....nothing

What i do see is you taking away the usefull stat items chefs make

If you go thru with this i see the chef profession as a dead one

Chefs need to keep all the stat fods and get new ones too. There not broke DONT break them !

Add you new useless whatevers but maintain all the old foods and fix the broken foods and drinks they currently have

Chefs need STAT foods let them keep what they have and add to it !

Why have you wasted however many developers time making these useless changes when so many things are broken ?

You have to be a college Grad Only a overeducated mind could think this way

If its not broke dont fix it

FIX broken things!

If you consider this a flame its because the way you and others who control this game rub our noses in it DESTROY hours and hours of our hard work so we can have minutes of pleasure

.There is nothing good about these changes.throw them away as useless work dont implement them there not needed

Fix whats broken

Dont nerf a whole class and make them totally useless.they will have nothing to sell anyone wants to buy

I want to speak to the manager waiter !

For those of you that don't follow the Chef Forum, We received some test results last night that make a lot of these points moot:

BOH came out at Plus 600 and 39 filling without BE additives and plus 1300 with BE additives.

Wow!

Even more importantly:

Vassarian Brandy came out as plus 200 mind, focus, willpower for 45 min and 25 filling (without additive).

As filling is 25, you could take 4 of them to get up to plus 800 and maintain a continuous buff due to the duration.

Now tell me that your going to miss Fishak!

Thank you for listening devs. From the recent changes and testing in test center, it sounds like we now have comparable stat buffs for what we are losing without having to use BE additives. And the BE additives now sound like they will be worth what the customers will pay for their rarity and possibly even allow chefs/BEs to bid competitively against doctors for hunters. I'm still concerned about the stack size and milk rarity, although it sounds like you are listening and some of the schematics that used to require therare to acquire domestic milk now just require milk. I'm still a little concerned about filling, although noone has really tested the new fillings yet on TC.

I was able to milk over 1200 units of wild milk in one session. (God bless bolle bol herds)
I have yet to find any domestic milk.

I did some milking after consuming jawa beer? (buffs mask scent skill) and it seemed that I was milking a little faster than without the skill buff.

The 60mins to have the item you ate be removed from a stomach will make alot of people on both sides unhappy. Dr's can buff you imediately after you buff wears off.. You can use spice like 3 or 4 mins after it wears off..

People who play this game already pay a penalty by constantly having to to pay for these buffs whether it be food or otherwise. The buffs dont come free.

How about making the time limit more realistic.. say 15- 30 mins ??

That's a compromise .. it keeps people from continually being too powerful .. too buffed.. but doesnt kill a chef ..

No , im not a Chef.. Im Master Commando

Here's a suggestion, I'm not sure how to exactly go about implementing it, but the development team should make it convenient (and advantageous) for chefs to spend their times in cantinas and taverns. Give them some incentive and encourage them to operate behind the counter.

I Cant believe that with all the negative posts that the Devs would, in their, right mind release this patch for Chefs. Far too many Chefs are complaining, I only just Mastered and now and wondering why I bothered.

Do Sony actually want people to play this game and tell their friends how great it is when they can just completely change things without listening to the community.

Surely it would be better to release the new chef stuff and leave the old items as ther are and gradually move their buffs over a period of time, say over the next 2 acts, at least ehat way people would have time to get used to it.

Not everyone has time to get to the test center and it clearly doesnt seem to be a proper representation of the live servers.

So will they listen or are the Devs just Imperials and going to lay the law down regardless.........
