Just a quick question: chef will still make Fishak and Glucose right? These are by far the biggest seller and if these were gotten rid of, well I'd just stop buying stuff from chefs myself.
No. Fishak and Glucose will NOT be available after the patch at this rate. Please right your congressman, govenor, mother-in-law, profession corespondent, and neighborhood dev team member.

Awesome. I'll now have no reason to go to a Chef!
I mean seriously whats teh point? Its not like EQ where food and drink are required to survive....none of the new foods are awesome and desirable they are severly inadeuqate for cost/benefit ratio.
The only items worth what your going to be paying for take way to long before they can be reused. As someone else said here chef food should be reusable imidiatly if its a stacking issue dont let people eat the same thing multiple times until the earlier wore off. All i think the community deservise is a better alternative.

Just my opinion,
I have never been a Chef nor doI plan to be. I do however spend a lot of credits on food. I buy Fishak in 30 crate lots and do this on a weekly basis. If Fishak and BOH are taken away and replaced with these seemingly worthless recipes I will have no use for a Chef anymore and I am sure I am not teh only one. How doestaking their best selling items away help the Chef proffession. Taking these items away from Chef is a very BAD idea. I appeal to you Devs to rethink this so called revamp. If you feel it has a place in the new combat scheme then please wait till AFTER the combat setup is where it is going and then introduce the Chef changes when they will be useful. I suggest that the Devs please read the Chefs boards again because I think they missed what the Chefs were asking for.
Any help would be appreciated.

I could write a long, detailed description of why most of these changes in this revamp are bad, but I think I can summarize it pretty quickly...
These changes will end up taking a profession that suffered thru profession-breaking bugs for the first 5 months of theh games existence, finally became a great supprt crafting profession, and are about to again make them useless. Terrain negoaition? Bleeding defense? burstrun efficency? I can't think of 3 more redundent, and therefore useless stat buff's. Of course, you remove all the usefull current chef's stat buff's, and replace them with watered down, "why waste our money on these" stat buff's.
Fine job SOE, fix a profession, then make it worthless, but hey, at least it works right, eh?
The changes to the chef's profession should be simple, dont change a thing currently, but introduce the containers, and allow them to experiment on filling-ness, while not changing the current stomach "regeneration" values. (for lack of a better term, let's call how fast food leaves your system, allowing you to take more be called food regen.)
These suggestions are painfully, obviously coming from someone who rarely actually play's the game.
