- Make lairs more realistic. An example would be to make buildings for faction camps, and pseudo-caves for Banthas where you can't really go inside but is more believable to witness when you see them pouring out to defend their lair. Improve their AI as well, by having them setup more complex bases over time, by fighting other rival factions and creatures in order to expand their settlements. As this goes on, in return, they would recruit more and more members, stock up on better weapons and armor, and deploy better defense such as in the form of watch towers and automated turrets. Have creatures breed and migrate over time, and alter their habitat to encompass their family. Smarter creatures like Squills would setup primitive villages, etc. This creates a more dynamic environment in the wilderness that players would greatly appreciate.
- Make Merchants be able to hire wandering NPC vendors who shuttleport around cities.

- While swords, pikes, and fists are basically the same damage type, its a generalization of really several types of damage unlike heat, energy, blast, and acid damage which are specific.
- Jedi are suppose to be wary of melee attacks as said by the devs, and I quote:
Thunderheart Wrote:
Jedi are not being designed to be the perfect solo character that can defend against all other classes. Jedi are not “scrappers” and by definition, Teras Kasi was developed specifically to fight Jedi at close range. This will be especially true when Jedi are given the ability to block ranged attacks back at their opponents. Melee attacks are something the Jedi should be wary of.
So, if 4 classes can do melee damage, then you will be pummled badly. Which I guess in alot people's books might be a good thing, thats a pretty nasty number and alot of people are gonna try for the Jedi's most feared attack.
What is razor damage? Damage done by vibroswords, vibrolances, vibroknucklers, daggers, ryyk blades, vibroaxes, and anything with a blade essentially. Kinetic damage makes sense, but razor damage fits better in line with these weapons.
Now of course this would mean staffs and such would retain kinetic damage, but I doubt a staff wielder would be formidable.
The primary source of damage caused by Fencers and Swordsmen already fall away from kinetic. Stun for Fencers and Blast for Swordsmen. So much wont be lost saved for Pikeman, but Im willing to bet they wouldnt mine such a overhaul.
There could be one in each of the major towns: Mos Eisley, Theed, Coronet.
could be a building in the city, You work your way through the missions the same way you do any other theme park. But these missions would payout money, Invest exp, and maybe some cool Bounty Hunter oriented loot (a scale model of Slave 1).
Maybe you start with the guy at the door, run his mission you get inside, Then there are a series of "mob" bosses that hand out BH missions. Each of the bosses could be associated with each Investigation Level. But instead of handing out random missions that you could choose from... they would hand out a "Series" of missions... complete the "series" get some cool loot, Like a Velevet painting of Max Rebo or something.... Once you get to Level IV you can go upstairs and take missions directly from the DON!
Since the different Bosses would be associated with different Invest Levels, it would give you a reason to come back and finish the next part of the Theme park.
I'm not suggesting that you could crank out all your Invest from these parks, but...
it would be a nice change from the boring Mission Terminal life.
and it would add a little of the Underworld side of Bounty Hunting...
maybe there could even be Rebel and Imperial BH theme parks!
Hi, I am not sure where to post this so I will post it here and I will post it on my community forum too. I hope it gets noticed somewhere.
First off congrats on the one year anniversary! It is hard to believe it has been a year of live already.
One thing that has always bugged me has been the nightly server restart. There have been a few times when the nightly restart has NOT happened but 99.9% of the time there is a nightly restart.
I am assuming the nightly restart is used to correct problems such as the mysterious items that go poof but come back at server restart. I also assume there are more behind the scenes stuff that is corrected on a nightly basis with the restart.
During the week the restarts are not that big of a deal TO ME since I have to be in bed at a decent hour for work. But on my Friday off and on weekends I really like to pull a weekend of non stop game play sometimes...
With the nightly restarts it really breaks immersion and it really restricts planning to do something that might take too long and be disrupted by the server restart.
Will we see a day when the nightly restarts go away? Maybe a day when the nightly restarts don't happen on weekends? or will they be with us for the life of the game?
I am not asking for you to drop what you are doing and fix/change this right now. I am just asking in general.
Thanks for your time and once again congrats on the one year anniversary!
