I got a question, I got nothing to do in this game and since july nearly dont play it at all waiting for this publish, butnow I gotta wait forthe old man to show up, does that mean I gotta sit mindlessly in the wilderness for hours untill I can begin the quest ?


You guys say just play like you do usually, Well I got an info for you, usualy I DONT PLAY, so what I am meant to do ? I dont want to stay in front of my computer for days untill I find out in which group I am.

Can you PLEASE answer this one before yall go home for the day, TH? Just to help out the customers who are just sitting around waiting for this to happen, and are scared if they log off, they'll lose their spot in line.



I don't want the standard answer of "just go enjoy yourself" or "it'll happen when it'll happen" We've waited a long time for this, and really don't feel like running around doing busy work in game, or logging off and possibly prolonging the wait. Just want a straight up answer on how the old man queue is working right now. FIFO, LIFO, Alpabetically, whatever.

If you are glowing with the force already the waiting time with groups does not apply to you. You will get a visit in 1-3 days Cheer up and enjoy your glow!

You are driving me crazy! well maybe it was not your decission but what is this?!! you make us wait almost 2 months for the patch when we unlocked after patch 9. now you tell us to go out and sit in the wilderness for 3 days?!?! i cannot believe this

hi, this is my first post but i figured i needed to write it, ive been readin about ppl complainin about child jedis and how its not right cuz kids on ther summer vacation r able to grind a bunch and unlock, i dont find any comments lik that acceptable, yes kids on ther summer vacation can unlock easier than others with a job, but us kids r also payin customers, if we could get a job we most likely would. why only point out the kids, why not point out all them free loaders still livin wit ther parents at age 25.....instead of puttin it staight to kids...try just pointin at the gamers with more time.

and for this whole pub 10 stuff, i dont find what they did fair what so ever and most of the ppl that hav made a post i strongly agree with, hologrinders should be rewarded yes, but so should the others that decided to wait, i played this game when it first came out and stopped for awhile but now im back at it. yes hologrdinin is a pain in the ass but so is waiting for what it seems NOTHING...the hologrinders should be rewarded along with the many that waited to be able to do quests. i was excited this morning to see that i hav the force with me and all that crap, but then very much dissapointed findin out that im gonna hav to wait longer for these quests.

the devs need to put more work into the game, and try and make the many ppl that hologrinded get rewarded along with the many ppl that waited to be able to do the quests. this game is an excellent game but tends to get boring after time, and for me i wanted to try out jedi to bring the excite back to the game but now i may just give up on this game.

I Wanted to bring up a point I seen posted in here earlier... Alot of people who have played the game from the beginning put in hundreds of hours and money into the game just to play Jedi in an rpg type game, Today you can go buy a new Starwars CD and start over and become glowie within a day or two.. But I really can say anymore that hundreds of others have already said, Its tottaly unfair for the vets vs the new players, the new system is tottaly jacked.

Hi I've tried to keep up w/ this thread but @ 32 pages... I do have a life lol

Anyways I haven't seen an answer to a couple questions that I have. Maybe if someone knows them or if a dev responds to this you could fire off a quick PM to me so I dont have to go wading through all of this better not say what I think of most of the posts in this thread cause it'll just get edited.


1. I see that the holo credit is based on the number of professions you had left before you unlocked. Myself I've done 9. I did 1 before badges, my 4 holo profs and 4 others. My question is, is this number of profs left based on how many I would've have had to do yesterday to unlock? Or the number I had to do when I used a holocron and it went silent? There is a big difference, 4 vs 1. I ran some numbers and if its 4 there is like a 1% chance that I'd have 1 prof left.


2. I have done the requirements under the new system to gain access to the village, ie the badges. When I use the /check I get the inner glow message. However after 4 hours of play no guy. I haven't seen a post of someone in my possition who saw the old man today. My first thought is that they are limiting who can get into the village based on those groups, but TH said that if you filled the requirements under the new system you'd be granted instant access. So which is it? and if it is the latter and I should be given access now are you guys just giving time to the jedis under the old system to filter through??

On another note I'd just like to say that I understand then need to allow ppl to get access to the village in stages, it wouldn't work to have a lot of ppl go to the village at once. Before you say anything everyone and their dogs should've been able to cover the badge requirements by now IT really ain't that hard.

By yelling and complaining about this isn't going to solve anything questions and comments should be posted in a polite and respectiful manner. Being rude obnoxious just shows how much of a small person you are and will get you nowhere in the game or rl.

Oh and one last though for all you people who say they're going to quit now go for it! Please all it means is there will be less back log for the rest of us and we can get at it a lot sooner!

HAHAHa..sorry...it is not a 1-3 day wait if you are glowing. I think alot of you are not understanding it. IF you did all your professions (meaning you unlocked your slot) you will get a visit in 1-3 days. If you are missing one profession (holo went silent on you) you will get a visit in 1-3 days.


The rest of us are now in groups based on amount of holo professions we did or did not do. I did one Holo and a 5 regular. I have all my other badges...I am glowing. I have around a month of waitingnow until the place clears out or when they are ready to let me in. NOT 1-3 days.
