Thread: Faction Insurance Day Pass: How much?
The day item decay on death was initiated, the GCW died.
Buying insurance is a hassle, it stinks, virtually nobody likes it. the only way to jump start the GCW is to remove decay on death, notchange thecost to something else.
You already loose more FP than you gain in most circumstances, even in battles that your side wins. Loose ~50 points for getting DBed, gain ~30 for DBing. 50/50 chance of dying in the first place means that PvP is already a FP sink. Why make it an even larger sink?

Item decay on death is pointless-- that's what insurance is for in the first place. The community has made this clear. You (and by you, I mean whoever is making the decisions, and asking you to relate them) have made it clear that you don't give a flying leap what the players want. They're going to get freaking ice cream because that's what you've decided to make, and if they're very nice you'll let them decide what color dish they get it served in.
Just do whatever you're going to do and stop pretending the community gets to decide anything.
I hate to say this cuz I love this game, but this is too true...

Don't know if the devs have thought of this loophole.....
It seems like it would be possible if you always hunt with a friend of the opposite faction and keep a TEF on you will never need to pay insurance any more, just get a daypass and keep that TEF on and never worry again.
its discusting really our giuld assosiates with alot of others and we are always under attack so im involved in alot of pvp so i lose a set of armor every single day i pay 300k for a set of black advanced comp armor and its gone in 2 hours then in buy and new one after 5 hours of running missions i hate the insurence decay thing i know you want us to insure but why punish us for not doing it the first 4 or 5 months just remove it and you can keep yourself some happy gamers for a long time to come
also i think if your going to make those pvp passes expensive make the missions pay out more
My fellow players will likely think I'm crazy but I think it should be as high as 250 overt, 500 covert. It needs to be enough to hurt, but not so much as you cant make itback in an hour. We are talking about a 24hr pass, right?
