Hello. This post I made under it's own topic entitled, "What war?... What Star Wars?..."
Since I know that the people who produce and "help" create the updates and "fixes" for this game don't really read any of the other forums aside from these, I would strongly like a "developer" response to this. Please either post it here, or get with me in game on the Naritus server; Alias - Meier. Thank you.
As a little kid of only about 10 years old I witnessed my first Star Wars film. A New Hope. I don't really know why, but I've always just loved being the bad guy. You know, they always get the sweet outfits, they have more "goonies", better equipment, and total advantages over the heroes. I remember watching the first time I saw Emporer Palpatine in Return of the Jedi. "Strike me down..." Favorite line. So perfectly evil. Just flawless...
But enough about me and my first times seeing the movies and my own personal favorite sides. The point that I'm trying to make is that if you put all of the logic together, this game totally doesn't add it up. Ok DEV's (or whomever made this game), I want to know exactly what went on when the beta testing was happening. How much worse was it than this? It's almost like taking a brand new car and slowly keying and stripping it of all the paint. That's about the best analogy I can make here. I've had a lot of rants in my day about not only this game, but others that I've previously played. But out of all the games I've seen and played so far, this by far has the most blatant discrimination as of yet.
Now, I thought Imperials were all about having the awesome toys. I mean hey, they run the galaxy here. They're like the U.S. Government of today. They produce the credits (cash) and have the power to take down whatever it is they feel is a threat to them, like the Rebellion (Saddam, Osama, whatever you want to say). So, now this is where my equation comes into play and question: Where in the hell is all of my power? Where are my toys that I could kill things with? Where are all of my awesome guns? Where are my thousands of "goonies" I can control?
For all of you Rebels out there, I bet you see my arguement as totally unfair and completely unjust. Well, guess what: All of those "cronies" (Stormtroopers) really suck. And when you get to the "bosses" (AT-ST's) that's when it takes some skill. Although on my server the Imperials have strategies down pat, we are outnumbered by far. The Galactic Civil War makes a complete imbalance to everything on the racial features. But hey, I guess that's how it's supposed to work in this type of thing. More Rebels than Imperials. I wasn't too suprised at that. What really ticked me off though, is when this new patch came into play, and I couldn't "Call for backup" when I needed them.
I can see how calling 3 AT-ST's can be a bit wrong, but what makes this even worse is that now, not only can I only have one form of help, but they can't even obey my commands and let me have my reign of command over the galaxy like it should be. I know Imperials are like the cops, but when it comes down to it, aren't there corrupt cops in real life too? (And speaking of real life, I won't even start on the decay problem and insurance...That's a whole other story). If you look at A New Hope, just check out what those Stormtroopers did to Luke's family and home. Check out what they did to Leia's home, Alderaan. Do you think they went by any honor there?
I'm not one to point fingers at people, but from the looks of this forum, it seems as though the one called "J3ST3R" is the one to help run this war right. If he/she can tell me exactly what they tell the DEV's is going on in-game or through some other form of communication other than forums, I'm really curious to know. Because so far, you're f*cking it. And I never curse for no reason. Either you start getting points across, or I'll take the boot to someone's ass and do it myself. As far as I'm concerned, this game is being destroyed, not repaired.
On behalf of all the fellow Imperials here in this game, I'd like to thank you all for helping through this struggle we all go through. Not only do I thank the Imperials, I also would like to thank all of the honorable warriors who participate in this war. Although I've lost my cool at times, I normally keep it inside. And its players that keep their hate inside, roleplay, and use curtosy when fighting (like "good fight" or "until next time"), those are the players that I know are dedicated and feels this same pain. Those are the players I know can keep this game alive. But how ironic it is... How f*cking ironic it is, that they post the same as I do about their problems, and never get heard.

Well i for one like the fact that while i am killing Krayt's some gimp Imp can't come and steal my kill, Which happened a number of times, and then ask me to joing their group. On the other hand i will not be able to have a small group of my friends get declared and go there and hunt them instead lol.

No, that is a misconception many seem to have. Even a Master CH cannot have more than 1 pet out. It is a one pet one deal for everyone.
And please stop comparing AT ST's with Rebel Troopers. It is like comparing apples with peers. It has been said before, but I'll remind you again: The Empire haveadvanced equipment, the Rebels haveadvanced numbers.
The Russain army defeated large parts of the invading German army on its own turf not because they had superior equipment, but they had the numbers.
I suggest that the AT-ST or any other factional pet shout not be under the CH class.. but under the rank u have... so as im Colonel.. and i got 3 AT-ST i should be able to call them all..
Dont forget thet there is more rebel then IMperial.. so if u want a ballance in this too.. STOP taking IMPERIAL fun out of this game..

Faction perks should be given according to your rank and your rank can be affected by the GCW. The more you kill the more FP you getwhich raises your rank. The higher the rank, the better Equipment and amount of pets you can pull. When you get killed you lose FP thus you start losing rank.
What will help balance things for non creature handlers and people that are loners and don't like to group, or just have trouble finding a group is to give the droid engineers the ability to make droids to help people tank against the high lvl mobs in the game.
So you would have:
Creature Handlers - Good to get pets from to assist you in fighting low lvl mobs
Droid Engineers - Good to get droids to assist you in fighting high lvl mobs
Faction Pets - used to assist in the GCW against npc and players.
At Master lvls you should have to rely less and less on pets to assist you againsts npc's and mobs but this game is so unbalanced that you cant solo alot of mid to high lvl mobs because:
1.Your weapons and ranger traps are useless in most cases to solo.
2. Most high lvl mobs are pack mobs. Trying to fight 3 mids alone is like attacking 1 high lvl mob alone.
If there wish is to encourage grouping then get the battlefields working like they suppose to. Aint this what the game is suppose to center around ? A GCW ? Right now the game is set up to only be fun and reward people who are now on a scavenger hunt for holocrons to become jedi. There is nothing to be gained by attacking faction bases accept to grieve the poor person that layed it down. There is nothing to be gained by laying down a faction base. All that grinding to get one and at the end it changes nothing in the big picture.

Look in the middle. This is real life, not an edited photo. There is no reason why certain people should have a huge advantage over others, in a game, but is is happening. I am not saying anyone here does this, not pointing fingers anywhere but at the general reason why ATST's are getting clobbered.
Even though I NEVER DID THIS you are wrong. The reason is that ANYTHING that promotes the empire, it's citizens and/or it's economic prowness is good. ANYTHING else is bad and evil. Especially rebels.
