Thread: Live Issues Publish 9: Secrets of the Force
I've been told that if you do not use specials when you are attacking the lair for the last 1000 HAM or so the missions will pay off for you every time. I've tried it a couiple times and it has worked for me. Just stop spamming specials when the lair is kind of close to dead. You can hover the mouse (in mouse pointer mode) over the lair's orange bar to check how much HAM is left. When it's around 1000 or so, just use regular attacks. If you have specials in your combat queue just press CTRLbackspace to clear the queue.

I ran missions on Dantooine last night. (6-29-04)
2 of my missions did not pay any reward. This bug repeats every time I run missions there.

Thanks for the crafting mini stealth. Before I was able to make things that only required generic crafting tool with my weapon, droid, and GENERAL crafting tool. If it's a general crafting tool then let me make general/generic stuff with it. Not sure if anyone else posted on this or not. Still i simply hate stealth nerfs, it's just underhanded.......
It's not really stealth if it is published in the patch notes. (which it was)
You could make anything with that tool before and that wasn't intended.

I could care less what causes this, or why it happens, or if there is a work around for it.
I want to play the game at full capacity.
This bug still exists and NONE of my reports have been given the courtesy of a response.

Bravo. I agree 100%. There should NOT HAVE to be work arounds. The game should work or at least the problems should be corrected as soon as possible. This has been a problem for a while, and like Liani this 'work-around' has never worked consistently for me, either.

The 3 second delay during combat was put in because of the armor and weapon equipping macros. Some of the problems associated with "instant armor" are instances like the Jedi "armor macro" whereby a Jedi could press a single toolbar button that would unequip all of their armor instantly, allow the to then use their force powers and then press that button again and re-equip all of their armor instantly. There are other situations in the game where players were getting unfair heals and weapon advantages because of this.
Bounty Hunters have a particular pain with this because it hamstrings some of their most effective combos. There are other examples of this as well, but the change was necessary. The other aspect to this is that players were using these macros to compenasate for certain combat shortfalls. The right answer for the game is to address those things in the combat balance.

No, Jedi can wear armor - - they just can't wear armor and use Force powers. And fwiw, its not *just* because of Jedi...there were other instances as well. That was just the best example

Try reading the post not too far down from my original before you make your comments like these.Or if your too lazy I can sum it up for you.
In PVP these macros were being used as a unfair advantage to equip on the fly when their opponent was using a different weapon against them that they realized rendering them with no or not enough protection so then they would switch armor to better suit the situation.
I also said that he was wrong with a player only being able to heal fractions of the ham bar within the 200-400 range it is much higher than that.

It's just very annoying.
