Thread: In Concept: One Sentence Combat Change Requests
C. In the Commando boxes, Field Tactics I-IV, add +5 Thrown Weapon Speed and +5 Thrown Weapon Accuracy to each box. Also add +5 Thrown Weapon Speed to the Master Commando box.
D. In the Novice Commando box, add +10 Heavy Acid Rifle Speed, and in the Master Commando Box, add +25 Heavy Acid Rifle Speed.
E. In the Commando boxes, Heavy Support Weapons I-IV, increase every skill mod by +5 or +10.
F. Disable Center of Being for all melee proffessions. (They all have too much defense as it is, plus its too easy to macro CoB and thus have it up continuously.)
G. In the Master Pistoleer box, chance Multi Target Pistol Shot to be a radius style AOE attack with a max range of 16 meters or so.
H. In the Pistoleer box, Pistol Grips IV, change Point Blank Area 3 to instead be a cone attack similar to Fan Shot that also has the chance to land a Blind or Stunstate on all targets in the cone.
I. In the Pistoleer Box, Pistol Grips III, change Body Shot 3 so that it also has a chance to land a Dizzy state.
J. Change the DE-10 to AP2. Even with a Krayt enhanced DE-10 a Pistoleer is still one of the weakest proffessions, especially against high end content where everything has heavy armor.
K. Change the Nym Sluggthrower from AP1 to AP0, and change its damage type from Acid to Kinetic. Carbineers are currently shut out of some content due to them be limited to only three damage types.
L. Lower the filling on some of the Mind Healing food and drink significantly, so that a player can heal his or her mind more than just a handfull of times during a battle.
M. Consider changing the PvP reduction to only 50% instead of 75%.
N. Modify the code for Strength, Constitution, Quickness, Stamina, Focus, and Willpowerso that the penalty to HAM costs and regeneration caused byencumbrance isapproximately double or even triple what it is now.
O. Change Jedi Saber Block so that it is affected by accuracy, /aim, Stun, and Intimidate in the same way that defenses such as Dodge, Counterattack, Ranged Defense, etc., are.
P. Put Force Run 3 on some sort of timer.
Q. The Group TEF problems can be fixed by simply changing the code so that as soon as a covert groups with an overt he is given a TEF in the same manner as if he had traded with or healed an overt. This would create a situation where an overt would never have to worry about a covert being able to get a free first shot.
R. Make the NPCs that spawn at a player faction base between 10x to 20x stronger than they are now.
S. Change turrets at player faction bases so that they can only be destroyed during a base's vulnerable time. If a turret is attacked outside of a base's vulnerable time, instead of being destroyed, the turret can only be disabled for a 5 or 10 minute period. Once that 5 or 10 minute perior is up, the turret's HAM is completely restored and it becomes operational again.
T. Cut the delay time on the weapon switch timer by at least 1 second, if not more.
U. Remove the weapon and armor switch delay timer if the player is not in combat.
V. Double check that the 5th Jet Pack piece is truely dropping and that if it is dropping check to make sure that it is acutally visible in a player's inventory.
W. Fix the bug that is hiding the stats on DE-10 barrels.
X. Give Mandalorian Armor some level of resistance against Lightsaber damage so that this armor is of some use other than being a novelty. (Note: because of the current bugs with the AP/AR system, this resistance level has to be higher than 20%, otherwise the wearer of the armor would take more damage from the lightsaber than if he wasn't wearing the armor.)
Y. Give RIS Armor some level of resistance agaisnt Lightsaber damage, or remove RIS armor's Acid vulnerability. These changes can be undone once a true combat rebalance is performed, however, until that time comes, RIS will remain a novelty because superior composite armor can be crafted with FAR less effort.
Z. Get the new Heat damage Razor Knucklers into the game as soon as possible, and give all Nightsister Elders a remote chance to drop the required NS Vibro Motors.
