This is a game. The only way its going to be 'star warsy' is if you actively look to roleplay it. If you're looking at it from an outsider point of view, and acting normally within the game, of course its not going to 'starwarsy'. It's everything you make out of it.



I cant roleplay I find itcreepy, but for the most part I see the SW world inside the game (except when I avoid combat, not because of the fear of dieing more so that im sick of the same music lol). Yes I do agree that this is not a spot on match to the movies but for the most part is close enough for me. With stuff like this however its like the devs have never seen any of the movies.

Are the Corvette missions working correctly again? So I can obtain badges and loot? I heard all of the missions weren't giving rewards after the publish. Hope all is well since I don't want to waste my neutral rescue mission ticket.

Ok report. Did the destroy mission. No badge or scem.


Did get a berserker rifle scem though as loot (so they fixed that if it was broken)


SBDs still in rooms, and still seem to not give decay on killing you (or uninsuring).


SBD not attacking rebel NPCs

Also got powerplant, and it seems only 1 or 2 SBD in each location that are the new spawns, rather than the 5-6 i was seeing before

The rebel rescue mission seemed broken to me too. I talked to all the prisoners and the pilot, he thanked me and I received 20 fp and nothing else. I hit the escape pod, got nothing, talked to adar tallon, and he acted like he'd never met me.

Ok tested the neutral missions today.


Battle droids are back but all over the ship. Not sure if this is a bug or intended.


Droid repair in engine room still does not work if in combat. So you either have to kill everything in the ship since you get agro through floors, get incapped, or you can sometimes get out of combat if someone else attacks the all the NPC's that are agro on you and you hit peace. The later is pretty much not very effective because of the agro from other floors. Another way is to have a friend duel and incap you to break the agro.


Neutral rescue mission worked fine. Except the droid repair part.


Neutral destroy mission,all the terminals worked fine. But the droid repair issue is still there.


I still don't quite understand the battle droids spawning all over the ship. If it is intended then why not just make it a battle droid ship since you mostly just have to run from them anyway and with them all over the placeyou can't stop to kill anything else because they are chasing your groupall over. To kill all of the battle droids that are on the ship at the moment would take to much time and you would run out of it to complete the missions. But since you can't repair the droid while in combat the only real way to complete the mission is to get incapped in the repair room.


I find it hard to believe that would have been the intent.


Yes it is still completable. But it just becomes a run around and heal game and the biggest complaintI get from people is that they would realy like to experience the ship a bit more and see al the great art work that was put into it.


I will check out the rebel ones tomorrow.

Look like they upped the corvette difficulty again LOL.


Me and 7 other guild mates completed the assassin mission tonight (rebel) so it is still possible. This consisted of me making a mad dash to unlock the lifts and pick up the codes required, which before was fairly straightforward though this time required a force of will midway. Then, all8 of usfully buffed and in composite ran to theupper area near the bridge and started to take on the 2 stormtroopers in the 1st upper corridor after the lift up. We quickly realized given the resists that this was futile so a friend suggested we go straight to the inquisitor, whereupon the 3 riflemen spammed mind hits and a heavy swordsmen and myself (TK/Doc) did likewise. We all got incapped and a few of us died, luckily 2 RMs werent slain and got up, recharged (bugged, no aggro) then finished him off. Then they too died, cloned, and joined the rest of us at the pods.


Is this what the devs have in mind? We're a pretty decent group of fighters wearing good armour etc etc, but if we stopped to take on mobs the corvette would be an imposibility. It reminds me of my days playing resident evil on playstation for speed, not taking on enemies but making a mad dash past completing puzzles.


They keep upping the difficulty to stop 'runners' I'm told. By doing this they have made the only one possible way to complete the quests by 'doing a runner'.


I have my powerplant & 5 badges, once i have the 6th (neutral assassin) I doubt I'll return, which is a shame I had high hopes for it. The first time we played as a group we had a whale of a time picking of what mobs we could... it was only later we realized that to succeed we had to run about franticly doing the puzzles as fast as possible. The new difficulty level has cemented this position.

Aside from the obvious cluesless of the devs for game design, anyone care to tell me why armoire protected by 8 SBD are dropping weapons that I couldn't sell 200 cr in bazaar or food/drink I don't give a **edit** about?


I have run 4 corvette run so far and have yet to see a god damn power plant. I have destroyed my composite set ( 200k) + used a ton of food/buff thing for an estimated cost of 300 k all that for squat. Thats downright retarded risk vs reward, like everything in this freaking game. No offense but hire some better devs or seriously change the way you gusy work.

Does this include not being able to place the droid maintenance part during combat? Before pub8 this wasn't a problem, but now I'm having to walk through the electricity to reset the meeting room door.Destroying the mobs isn't really an option, since there's about 8 of them waiting for me at the elevator on the next floor, and if I even get close to going back up they're some how able to shoot me through the floors.

I was very disapointed in the "fix" for the 6-7 minute missions to the corvette to loot and escape. The fix of "add Super Battle Droids to loot rooms" completely breaks the atmosphere of the Corvette. I liked the Droid Imperial fights, it adds chaos to the already mad ship. The fix seems soooo, amature, too hurried, a very poor choice of a fix, it seemed like there was not time to fix it, and less time to apply the fix, poof, add a few more spawn points and adjust the Mobiles agro to each other.


A Good fix in my opinion:


1. Make Door Code Panels unusable while incapped and dead. If it's opened when you areincapped it stays opened, you can add the code then.


2. Make Armoires and Droids LOCKED! Put a Key on a Red Shirt on the floor the container is on, something not impossible to kill, 30-40k HAM.


3. Forget about Doors opening, MOVE the Elevator control box to the far side of the room.

4. Wound healing and Buffing should be allowed. Still not sure why it's not, I would love to hear the logic.


5. Time limit should be doubled. This would be based on the limitation of how many instances you can have as you mentioned...


Buffing would be the best choice I think, ONLY in the Cloning room. See groups have to carefully construct themselves to work properly for say an Assasination... Buffing in the cloning room requires one person to die or loose buffs and the Doc to follow them back to the Cloning room to buff them. Then buffing takes a minimum of 1m 30s, so the whole process would be like 3-4m out of 60m? (Or a Doc stay in the cloning room, but this further delutes the group strength)Seems reasonable. It just seems like it would be move fun.


No don't get me wrong, I can complete the corvette in 6-7 minutes solo, hands down, all 4 containers, rescue or destroy or prep the ship for a assasination group to run in the officers quarters. AND this was with each loot room with 4-5 SBDs, and the Engine Room with like 13. This fix hurt the average player wanting to work through the corvette, not the ninja looters ruining it.

devs read this then go check the movies and the books this guys is dead on. han solo wasnt running from one uber stromtrooper on the death star but from a whole platoon of them. i personal find it more of a changelle when you have 4 to 6 7k ham npcs attacking you then one uber huge resist high ham npc attacking you. So pleaselook at maybe trying this out be making on version of the vette with lower ham and resist trooper but balance it by once you access the computer you set off a alarm and it spawns a number of troopers that is equal the twice the number of people in the group. this give a changing lvl of diffcultly and more realistc appoarch if the bridge notice someone access the fuel or hyperdrive controls then they send troopers to check it out.


Did you guys even try out the vette with lower ham and resist npc but more of them on the test center or just throw a bunch of uber npc in it for the uber players.
