the corvette does not emerse me into star wars lol, i have two of the three badges by just standing in the middle of the first room. Two guys run out and complete the mission and then we fight until we recieve heavy wounds. Although its great fun it is in no way star wars, its just a mad dash to the end.

I wish they would up the volume and lower the diffuculty, thats how i remember SW. Tons of ST coming at you with maybe 7k hams not one ST that kills the whole group over and over again lol.

That is good about the terminals, but what about the other issues with the massively overloaded rooms with SBDs?

Dev's went to the trouble to create 9 versions of the vette. All 9 versions cater to the uber-hard advocates of this piece of content, a minority from the looks of things, instead of using the 9 versions to scale an approach. ?!? Could have made the rescues Easy, with more scant instances of loot, the Assassins Hard, with more instances of loot, and the Destruct Uber-Hard, with more power plants, for example. That way, they could have actually satisfied vast amounts of players, imagine that. Get the Easy badge, and if that's all you want, and want to try to hit the content over and over to try again for a power plant, cool, all good. And after getting experienced, you may want to go for the Assassination, get a new badge, and increase your chances for a power plant or bezerker rifle, and so on...

Basically out of a large guild, cant get peeps to go back with me to try to take it on. Not only did they turn off the majority of the customers with this content, but they also provided content that even guilds cant easily rally behind and approach as a group. Nice work

Fundamentally opposed to the SWG GR (Game Revamp) - Fix Classic SWG incrementally rather than embarking on balancing a New SWG from scratch - Players have suffered enuf for 2 yrs., time to build on strengths, thanks! - CLICK HERE

So the terminals are working, but are there still dozens of Battle Droids?

Please say it ain't so. It's hard enough as it is.

The hotfix notes for April 29 says that the Battle Droids for the neutral mission have been redeployed. I'm assuming that means it has been fixed.

The patch notes say that they redeploid the battle droids on the neutral version. WhatI was thinking was happening was depending on how many instances of the neutral vette were running all of the battle droids from the neutralwere spawning on the the rebel version and maybe the imperial one also. The reason for the no battle droids on the neutral ships and random sometimes overwhelming number of droids in the rebel versions.

We will see today if it is indeed fixed.

As for the AV-21 powr plantI have ony found it 2 times in over 20 attmpts since patch so it is indeed rare at least for me.

Everything "FUN" is catered to the small % of the power gamers. From Geonisian Cave to this Corvette. Now they talk about neat new things for dancers/musicians/artisans. Instanced is an excellent Idea and cuts down ont he loot campers...but if its uber hard and power gamer only the same loot campers alre the only ones that can do it. When are they going to realize t hat THEY are not the non-power gamers...that fighting professions are non-power gamers too.

Lemme reword it:

I agree,

When are they going to realize that THEY (dancers, musicians, artisans)are not the ONLYnon-power gamers...that there are a higher % offighting professions are non-power gamers too. Yet we lack that fun content. It should have been scaled like BleuDestiny said.

This is a game. The only way its going to be 'star warsy' is if you actively look to roleplay it. If you're looking at it from an outsider point of view, and acting normally within the game, of course its not going to 'starwarsy'. It's everything you make out of it.

I have to agree with you here 100%. While RPing isn't for everyone, the only way it will be Star Warsish is if you do RP. If you're not RPing you just playing a hack and slash that can be set anywhere. Personally I don't RP but I feel the game is just as Star Warsish as any other Star Wars game.

Thanks for the fix with this. This does not adress the issue of what seems to be left over droids from previous instantances. In the morning there are 1 or 2 SBD in each area, as the day goes on, this numbers goes as high as 13 from what I have counted.

This was a patch to keep people from looting power cores? Hasn't stopped me for completing the mission in about 10 minutes. The only thing it has done is make me avoid everything. I use to take on the ST and SBD for fun. I liked the challenge, now there is no sense to even try. There is no way a group of 10 could even come close to taking on a group of 13 SBD. So you have created nothing more than a mad dash for the loot containers and mission points.

I guess I don't understand the logic, if the goal was to create something that is completely impossible to do, why did you waste your time?

Why did you waste hours and hours of DEV time to create something that you want to be impossible. This isn't a DEV vs Player battle. You create something fun and intense and we love it. Then you completely make it impossible. This is such a waste of a DEV time, when they could be fixing the million bugs that have exsisted from the beginning.

Don't fix something that doesn't need fixing. The Corvette was hard enough and it was a blast to do. Now no one stands a chance of ever completing the assasin mission.
