As for the weapon delay, I haven't played since the new publish but by the sounds of it the delay is time based rather than turn based - is this correct?

Vehicles in the toolbar do not work. I see this has been removed from the publish notes - but it did say that Tuesday morning.
Group UI is not fixed. In fact it looks the same. I still see the same person 5 times in my list, all on different planets, while he is standing next to me.
I can deal with the delay on weapons and armor. In fact, I think it's a pretty good idea. It should not occur when out of combat though. Furthermore, if you want to make it so everything goes in the queue then you need to make a command that immediately purges your combat queue. The Clear button isn't quick enough in most combat situations and it would be best to put something on the toolbar.
Unless you're a Jedi or a BH it is like this patch never existed. Jedi got things fixed, BH's got screwed. I'm neither so if you fix the clear queue command I'll be set.
In addition to using Ctrl+Backspace, you can create a macro for "/ui action clearCombatQueue" and you should be all set
Ctrl+Backspace is a pain because it puts a little box in your text bar that you have to delete.

why is there a delay outside of combat when taking armor on and off?? where is the balance problem with this when you are NOT in combat??
The 3 second delay during combat was put in because of the armor and weapon equipping macros. Some of the problems associated with "instant armor" areinstances like theJedi "armor macro" wherebya Jedi could press a single toolbar button that would unequip all of their armor instantly, allow the to then use their force powers and then press that button again and re-equip all of their armor instantly. There are other situations in the game where players were getting unfair heals and weapon advantages because of this.
Bounty Hunters have a particular pain with this because it hamstrings some of their most effective combos. There are other examples of this as well, but the change was necessary. The other aspect to this is that players were using these macros to compenasate for certain combat shortfalls. The right answer for the game is to address those things in the combat balance.
Isn't more accurate to claim that you discovered with Jedi an exploit and you do not have the means to selectively identify a player with a Jedi profession and extra professions? That because you do not have the ability to filter those players who are Jedi and exploiting? The ONLY known "exploit" for non-Jedi is the addition of multiple DOT's with rare weapons and this is not an exploit.
You are being completely dishonest with your player base -- you are punishing the majority of your player base because of insufficient testing and a poor software architecture. It is ridiculous from any experienced product manager or developer to apply a change that effects the entire customer base because of a problem with a select few. You customize your applications to that subset -- you don't punish the whole membership.
You discovered an exploit at the last minute, and the only means you have to tailor a solution is to provide a universal change. This change is unwarranted and demonstrates an inefficient organization.

Hey i want to train mundane skills on my jedi. But every trainer only trains me force skills. While that is handy every three or four days, it would be nice to be able to train other skills until then. Please make it so we can do this. I really want to pick up scout now that i can't afford to keep fencer (and lvl 4 1h isn't worth keeping).
THROW Me a bone here
I ran into this problem on Test Center and it was part of a huge problem with all trainers not working at all in the begining. It was reported and STILL made it into live.

TH,
Hasn't the Jedi aspect of the "instant armor" been rendered moot? My understanding is that Jedi are now unable to wear armor or would their robes be considered armor. I realize that there may be other issues that you are looking at as well like swapping DOT weapons and stacking them. Could there be a more effective solution here such as applying a DOT timer instead of an equip timer?
No, Jedi can wear armor - - they just can't wear armor and use Force powers. And fwiw, its not *just* because of Jedi...there were other instances as well. That was just the best example.
Then JUSTIFY the decision. Give us the examples of these exploits. You can not . You only have the one instance of multiple DOT's -- which is not an exploit -- and the quick add of armor or clothing. How is taking armor on/off for non-Jedi an exploit???
You have no justification to make this global change other than to correct your short-term mistakes in allowing Jedi to have multiple professions. Extremely short-sighted design decision. Completely in reaction to multiple-profession Jedi which is outrageous -- a global change for a minor, trivial number of players.
If this were actually a planned, carefully deliberated design decision, you would have posted some mention of it. It's how you prove to your player base your organization's mature design process. Where is it?
Server Corbantis
Planet Dant, tat, dath
Profession Commando(thanks for the hose there )and TKA(only one I can be now)
Armor does not seem to work at all. Sunday I never saw white on my ham bar, Tues and Wed would loose half ham bar in about 5 seconds(yes during the inexcusable wait between flamethrower and bare hands).
This delay between switching weapons is inexcusable, especially for the hybrid classes. In commando, all we have is the flame thrower that works, so we have to have other skills to survive, especially since for some strange reason, everything seems to be getting higher heat resist, yet everything is vulnerable to LS.
Please get rid of the weapon delay. I debated for 2 weeks to get this game or FFXI. I have been a huge Starwars fan my whole life and this game sounded like a dream come true. I understand there will be bugs, its programming, I can live with that. I also understand that no matter what you do, somebody will be upset, always. I don't understand why there has been such a divergence in the time line. I don't understand why there are so many jedi, unworried about being attacked, in an Imperial controlled universe.
I don't understand why the jedi are getting catered to. They have jedi Outcast and kotor if they want to be jedi. Keep the continuity alive for us who want to live in this time line. Or else let every jedi with a visible lightsaber be attackable. Reduce the population, or put them on their own server.
Enough of my rant, please fix the bugs, or at least check on the armor hole, and hurry with the combat rebalance.
Thanks

TH,
This is a weak response. Your killing the GCW even more. And thats the only reason I play this game.
There are many more effective ways to fix this than giving everyone a 3 second / piece delay.
1. only allow jedi their robes.
2. Add timers to dots..or allow only 1 dot at a time.
3. Put the delay on Jedi not non-jedi.
You say there are other reasons. Your wrong. Yes the dots suck. But waiting for a minute to pvp because i cannot get all of my armor on sucks way worse. Your ruining the game by adding stupid features such as this one.
I know you want alot of people to go jedi. But Dont you think alot of people are going to drop jedi once they see how tough it is to grind? Then your going to lose even more players. Think about what your doing to the game!!
