Yes, I like the concept of a quest-driven path to FS via Aurilia.

Yes, I like the notion of adding a quest journal.

I have some of the following questions (some shared with others who've already voiced in the thread):

Hologrinding was nonsense, and rewarded players jedi status because...well, they grinded. What kind of playing is that? So, I'm excited about the notion of actually creating a quest in order to become FS. Excellent change on your part, so congratulations. Here's what I'm left wondering...

How do we stop SWG from becoming too heavily-populated with jedi? I and all of the other veterans are of course going to salivate and hope right away for an opportunity to jump through the FS hoops.

What considerations are given to randomness...who will be selected to go? Why? No matter how "hard" the quests, if we all ultimately receive the quest offers it's sure to create more FS/jedis than exist now. How will that affect the game's dynamics...PVP...trade? (jedis=uber rich)...etc. Will their suddenly be 20-30 jedi lounging around at every starport after the FS quests are done?

I do like the Village and the journal it will add to the game experience in a good way. I would like to make a suggestion for SWG content. It would be great to have missions like in EQ that are set up to be played by one group, or one solo person only. You see a coordinator to get your mission and then given direction to the entry. From there you or your group are the only players there. It is maddening when you are doing a mission or cave and have other players barge in and loot your mission or take your groups XP by killing the spawns. Also not having players camp a spawn and loot the drops for days would be really good. I would hope that the Jedi trials are going to be like this and I also think that having a lot more of this kind of mission orientation would be good for the rest of the game as well as “the village of Aurila"

The village i could care less about..

i do like the idea of the quest journal..

i do like force sensitive non-jedi

i do like 'playing the game' to become force sensitive... (hope it gets implemented as well as it reads)

Sounds like a very interesting move, and i think that's just what SWG needs something a bit more story driven, because that's what i feel it's lacked since the Story Arc ended.

Look forward to hearing more.

...for all who are bitching about the recursive macros going away... The Force forbid that you actually have to PLAY the frigging game instead of making it a "screensaver". (Which is what you MAKE the game, in my opinion, when u macro). Just think... without macros... everything would have taken so much LONGER to accomplish... and it would have been MORE SATISFYING!! I am a Master Pistoleer. It took me forever to reach, because i dont macro. The adventure has been long, difficult, and rewarding. I have gotten my ass kicked a lot, but have had fun attaining Master, and becoming a Colonel in the Rebel Alliance.

The village is certainly an interesting idea. However, if it is situated in a very dangerous area (and it appears that it is to be situated on Dathomir), then it greatly disadvantages the people who play non-combat professions.

A quest journal is an interesting idea and would enhance gameplay experience if it is well implemented.

I think though that the village should be a POI so people can find it. That is not to say that the path should not be hard!

I HOPE the devs read this post...

There is continuity in the books for a Jedi city. It's actually located on Yavin, or more correctly under yavin. It's covered in the childern's book series of The Glove of Vader. So this city DOES exist in the SW universe, and could be used, instead of this 'created' city.

THUNDERFART and the rest of the devs,

your a fu ck. you and your suggestions you make to your dev pals have **edit**ed the game overwith your requests for more nerfs(ie ch nerfs) ive been with this game since the begining, and i personally see the disgrace in the way this game has gone. ive lost some great friends and am about to lose more because your stupidity of "fixing" the stuff thats broken or should i say the lack there of and the lack of good content.

good content is not a A DUNGEN FOR THE HIGHER LEVEL PEOPLE ONLY! what the hell were you guys thinking with the bhes and jedi except create a big fuc king grief fest. im a bh and a jedi and ya know what its stupid you guys screwed up with holocrons and f ucked everything up.

now i know theres got to be some level of thinking that goes in to your brain but com on.a village a static place its got to be the worst idea yet.
ive lost too many friends because of th and his nerf stick recomendations. then you got devs doing interviews saying we as a comunity are stupid and dont count for **edit**.

everyone is tired of the way you and the devs are handling things you **edit** with us giving us half truths and half answers. only because you try to cover up what you think the devs are doing and dont want to give any secrets out ha!

for me this staff that is supposed to enhance our gameplay and iimprove our game for US to play has failed miserablyyou **edit**ed with us and now your going to feel the consequnce of your actions with in the next month i have no dounbt you will see a big decrease on the scylla server if no tthe other servers too. i held on to and stood by this game too long hoping it would get better , but it hasnt it jsut keeps gettting worse...... you will not see me in in a nother soe game and more then likely others as well.
