Lol that's funny-- i already see jedi everwhere. What difference does it make---I hope they make weaponsmiths--armorsmiths and non jedi more powerful--so they can even hope to compete with all the jedi--maybe some force sucking weapons--or whatever..after all whats the point of having them if everyone wil be jedi--they get their clothes and make their own weapons--what about some jedi sensitive peeps that can make specialized stuff for the jedi, or non jedi---p.s. please make some different armor--and give bh more power and easier access to bh armor--on ahazi a single piece of bh armor goes-for 1-3 mill easy--hell ive yet to see someone wearing ris armor, and only one or 2 wearing a full set of bh armor

Well, given the time frame, Leïa is NOT a jedï, and I think you forget YODA ! but Jedï are not the only force wielding people, take the nightsister as an example !

Some of the knight trials were too much like EQ for my taste. I hope they can get away from "find UBER rare spawn and kill it" type stuff.

I think the quest should be resonable easy, like maybe six montsh for all quest and doing one quest takes less then a month, but then only let people who are skilled to be able to weild a lightsaber, let them develop say fenceing skills plus lightsaber skills and once they reach that they can weild a lightsaber. Alot of you are saying its going to be to easy, but you have fs quest, padawan,knight trials, and then raiseing your rank in the new pub 10, that will take alot of time. If u have already compleated alot of professions then ushould be strong enough to go threw the quest eaven quiker. That should be your only reward is your own strength to help you out. There may be alot more jedi around but make jedi worth alot of xp when they get killed. There already sought out by bounty hunters and once there jedi they should always be overt depending on the way of the fource they chose. I think that will help lower the number of jedi around. It is many peples dream to become jedi, why shouldn't there dreams come true? There is also alot of brawlers, alot of marksmans, butt if a jedi is always overt they will have to be careful 24/7 so they don't die all the time.

I think this is a brilliant idea. My one question is: Is it going to be instanced or not? If not I can see hundreds of players wandering around this "reclusive" area breaking the storylined vision. If it is possible, maybe have this area be something that we could download into our comps. if you can keep the vital information from being reverse engineered. I'm not a programmer so I don't know if this is a viable option. I also understand that those with dialup would have a very download on something like this. Still, if we could download even a part of this area that would take the load off the servers for instanced use it would be great. Just a thought.
Please, make the quest long and very involved. I don't want to finish it in one, two, or even three months. Think along the lines of Balder's Gate storylines. A good meaty story. I think that's what a lot of us players are truly looking for in the game.

I don't really care what youdevelopersdo as long as its more fun than the hologrind.That shouldn't be thatdifficult.
Fine make a village. Just do it already.
We're on the 4th "mini-publish" since publish 9 and I'm wondering when I'm going to see the new "Path' system on TC.
We're waiting folks...

The village concept sounds fine for Rebels or Neutrals.... BUT some of us are dedicated to the Empire. With old system, your main was unaffected, your new FS char was nominally rebel, but if your main was Imperial nothing changed. Now it's your main character that unlocks FS, what happens if they are Imperial and have no desire to be a rebel in this game, can they train at the village retaining their Imperial allegiance? It sounds Very unlikely given the backstory you've laid out....
Imperials who wish to continue in thier quest for FS should be allowed to remain Imperial...after all the system was changed On us, not by us, why should we be forced to change our mains allegiance and reason for playing since the "rules" were changed on us.
A precendent for this already exists within the Stars Wars Universe and fits the continuity.. Mara Jade and the rest of the Emperor's Hands, Adm. Thrawn stated there were more than just one Emperor's Hand. The Emperor himself found and trained select candidates to serve him and the Empire via their various force sensitive skills. In TIE Fighter there was a council of Force Users who promoted Merek Steele via the Secret Missions / bonus missions. The immersion would be far greater for us Imperials to be trained and advanced thru interaction with the Emperoror his council / representatives..Dark Cloaked figures...etc.

Sounds good
couple of things though....
- Do NOTmake the village a POI then every nub would know where it is - possibly make it invisible unless you do something first (Somewhere in teh books there is a cult of force weilders who can make things look different ei. Not there.
- Make the quest interesting.
- I agree that BH Jedi kills should give a HEAP of xp also introduce a BH ranking system and hurry up and bring Player contracts into the game.

All I gotta know is ... I am at profession 21 ... I work full time and have 3 kids, so I cannot play like the 12 year olds you gear this game towards, however are my 21 professions only going to count as 2 quests ? or will I be at 21 of the 24 quests ?
I love this game, I have 2 characters.... I don't always agree with the devs, but hey we all make mistakes.
Anyhow I cannot see me continuing this game after grinding since the first week of release and then be penalised because I cannot donate 24/7 game time .... I really really hope we are not thrown to the garbage SOE, I really do ....
I know you don't care about my 60 dollars a month ( canadian game cards = 60 bucks each ) ... but I hope you care about my devotion to a game based on a series I have been a fan of for years.
I never played an MMORPG pre-SWG and I will never play another after .... so heres hoping I dont have to quit.
