Simply amazing. I enjoyed seeing where this all began and how it has changed and improved over time.
Thank you

I think this photo gallery, more than anything, makes me realize that even though the players may not always agree with the devs and what they have to do, that they love the game just as much as we do and want to see it be successful more than anything else.
I really enjoyed seeing the evolution of the game from beta to launch. Seeing your journey TH, made me remember my own, from the first time I logged into Moenia and thought, "What do I do now?" up until now. This game, though it is only a game, is a part of my life and I have made many friends because of it.
I started playing about 1 week after launch and still feel that there are many things left to do not even counting the upcoming expansion. Seeing the shots from betamade me wish I had been there to experience everything for the very first time. Thanks for posting this.

Great friendships and connections?
Most all my friends have quit due to the game getting worse and worse after each publish.
Most every good crafter I have never known has quit as well for similar reasons.
Hopefully after the first year you and the rest of your lazy teammates can get this game in order.

Wow TH,
That brings back some memories from my own time in beta. I tend to forget how far the game has come and get caught up too much in how far I would like to see it go.
Tell all the devs keep up he good work, we'll get there eventually. Oh, and sometimes delaying things and not setting hard deadlines is a good thing.

TH, I remember when this series was first posted. I was waiting anxiously to enter this wonderful universe, and watching your journey through beta made the wait that much harder. I was filled with awe. Filled with hope. Filled with anticipation.
Now, a year later, I still feel emotional when flipping through these pictures. We've come a long way in the past year. We've got a way to go, still. But here's hoping that over the next year, and the year after that, for that matter, I meet as many wonderful people, have as many amazing battles, learn as many new things, and -- most importantly -- have as much fun.
Thanks, TH. This rocks. I'm so glad you reposted it.

Nice pics
Two things I noticed Thunderheart,
first please ask the devs for an option to bring back the transparent black bars behind system messages, so we can read them. This was the way to go, why was it removed?
Second, you could see what you were holding in first person, please ask them for that option, too, to be added.
BTW, were this your original comments, or added for today? Because that debugging window is still in (shift-ctrl-g)
(edit) oh and also I like the old radar better, can we get that, too?

Oh, and Tiphini? You're more than welcome to leave the game now. There's the door. Have fun.
Oh, wait -- you would rather stay around and pay good money to complain, right? That makes sense.

i absolutely love these vision quests that you put up, thunderheart. they remind me of all the wonderful things that make this game great, and the sheer awe i feel when i remember to stop, turn up my graphic settings in a secluded areaand just look around at the world.
also reminds me of all the changes i have seen, and i wasnt even in beta. i have been playing for about 12 months straight now, almost since launch, and i remember when i had to run everywhere on foot, all the people i met during my first months in the cantinas dancing away in large exp groups before the time of AFK and macro entertainers. those were more innocent, fun days i think, where people wanted to sit down and enjoy their characters, not just unlock their slots. but, this isn't about bashing that awful holocron system. this is about all that has been and all that will be, and i think what will be will be incredible.
thanks for sharing with us, thunderheart. thanks for reminding us what a truely amazing and wonderful game this is.

Trips down memory lane are always fun.
Except I can't get past image 26... fix that .jsp or whatever's behind it.
If you ask me, I kinda like the simpler UI from the early betas...
