I would have liked seeing something done more with the BH-Jedi missions. This is regards to Jedi staying on terminals even after a Bounty Hunter "completes" the mission. And also do something about the "Jedi Not Online" bug.

1st Paragraph - Aye. Agreed. Another idea (and money sink) is NPC chartering ships directly from planet to planet. Should be very expensive (again, 10k/person 1way, maybe more?) would be ideal. This way those of us who have cr and been around a while dont need to socially immerse ourself with the spammers in the connection cities (thank god for Kor Vella). Also this would save ppls asses like myself who sometimes travel overt. Perhaps starships should be 'scanned' and those with illegeal cargo lose cr or FPs, and by paying more money you get to be smuggled. In any case, waiting for the point of waiting is no good (as you said in the 2nd paragraph).


2nd paragraph - Social Immersion? Maybe, for the noobs. Cross-server immersion perhaps - I dont know the code nor the methodology of the codig/server scheme. It might be done this way to reduce overall lag, or it might be a core hard-scripted variable written into the server codes.....or it might be the result of other coding and the Devs cant control it, thatsd just the way different planet servers talk to each other. I dont know, but I would like a Dev to answer. I'll make a formal request right now:


General question to all Developers: Is the 10 minute wait at starports a pre-conceived time limit that can be changed and won't for gameplay issues, won't be changed for latency issues, or is it an embedded problem?



(PS: For those of you who don't follow, the question basically is: Is the 10 min delay in there becuase :A) You want it there to make ppl wait and talk, B) It makes the game in general faster, C) You have no control when it comes to plant-to-planet)


I'm aware "C" is unlikely due to Theed, but then again that might be hard programmed in. Then again, if it is C, then there's no point in ppl complaining.

The issue is that if a Jedi dies and was not given the /deathblow by a BH with the Jedi's mission in his datapad, then the Jedi's mission is not cleared off all Bounty Hunter's datapads and mission is not removed from BH Terminals. The Bounty Hunter Enemy Flag is not the issue, it's the Mission in their Datapads and on the Terminals.


The Jedi gets a death counted against his total no matter what kills him. I fail to see how it's in a Jedi's interest to get killed to avoid BH missions...


Seriously, is theconcern that a Jedi will grief Bounty Hunters by dying just to cheat them out of their Mission? LOLWell, a death counteris a death counter, doesn't matter what kills the Jedi. So if a Jedi wants torack up death counter points justto grief the Bounty Hunters out of their Mission on them, then I say let them grief away.





Exactly. Why not make it so that if a jedi dies at all, all current BH missions are erased on that jedi. This would fix the clone center camping once and for all.

Can you clarify? Is this that trandoshan females can wear the grand healer robe, or is this a new dress? Tailors have no new schematics so I assume it's loot.

Fix Starport Times to 5 Minutes. Geez... even this hacks me off...usually I am pretty even tempered about stuff...but FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD!!!!

I'll reply just to add to the list of people that feel that the STARports.



Other then immersion, perhaps it has to tie in with the impending space expansion....? Make those ppl with ships able to taker 8 ppl from say Tatooine to Dant directly in2 mins could easily make 6k per person maybe 10k. Think them as Taxis and starports as public transportation.



If that isnt the reason, then please, devs, lower the wait time in STARports. Or perhaps buy connecting tickets?

They tend to only answer questions that they want to answer, unfortunately. Typically, about 8 times out of 10 they will dodge really difficult questions that upset the public, such as this one. Very few times will they stand up and actually talk with us on major issues such as this. It's too bad to. Because I thought they had been doing a really good job in communicating with the public over the past couple months. I'm kinda disappointed they haven't really addressed this issue with us. I especially dislike how they post a thread such as this asking for feedback and then it has the appearance that they totally ignore it. I know they say they read them all (and I do/want to believe that), but it would be nice to see feedback every once in a while. Especially when we have a 52 page thread on this very subject right now in the In Development forum. Over all, they do a pretty good job at answering some of the major issues, I just think once the public gets as involved in something (such as this issue), they try to put it off until the last minute before posting... so maybe they will post right before publish time? Who knows. I know they will get a lot of respect from me if they will openly discuss this issue with us... rather than just making threads asking us about it and then never relaying any information back to us.

Please reconsider changing STARport times to five minutes. If I had never read about the change to shuttle times, everything would be fine. Now I get more frustrated by the 9min51sec wait then ever. Please, give your customers what they want, five minute STARport times.
