i'm a rebel and i think they should be left in game. it also gives pikeman something to do that is challenging yet not going to instadeath them

It finally stopped the Rebel Faction Farm - AKA Imperial Crackdown, and was one of the best ideas seen for the crackdown

If this is going live, then thank you. Lowering FP and XP rewards for crackdown troopers is a much better way to curb faction farming than introducing insanely powerful npcs.

so we crackdown...and it sucks. rebels are doing what we all assume is farming faction. ive talked to a few ive caught doing it, and they ALL said they were doing it for the 3000+ weapon xp...not for the faction. so you really are NOT going to solve the problem with this. this is just trash.

Succesful? Only thing I see here is the whiney Rebels win again.
Let's see now, AT ST nerfed to oblivion from whiney rebels. Rebels win first act due to sheer numbers advantage, Rebels win second act due Imperial unable to complete second act due to bugged ending, Rebels win third act due to forwarning they are losing and extension of limit. Rebels faction farming in various cities finally ends due to the Empire actually getting some teeth back, now removed once again due to whining yet again....
Any police force in cities being factional or non has to be almost impossible to defeat, this keeps order and fear to break the law. Now not even one day you already removed the Empire. There is no rebellion, there is no fear, no opression... the crackdown hurts Imperial players because they get fined/lose faction and can do nothing about it. Rebels just farm once again...
What's next? Imperial players now have bulls eye marked armor? We're outnumbered, outgunned and the Empire is an utter joke. Stormtroopers alone should have been a challenge to defeat, they are the elite troopers. You're acting like school kids, do something right and then cave due to peer pressure... you should at least have let it go for a patch or two to see how it worked out. Wish you would fix bugs and complete unbalanced professions this quick...
