You're missing the key word here guys: FASTER

you will still be able to do it slowly yourself. I see this as a huge improvement... makes ID usefull!

Though you may be correct the statement is quite clear

Stat Migration: Image Designers now have the sole ability to migrate player stats faster than the previous default migration rates. The process will take 10 minutes and requires the Image Modification Booth located inside the ID tents. This functionality has been revoked from the general player base and now requires an Image Designer.

The statement above from the orgional post.

Stat Migration: This functionality has been revoked from the general player base and now requires an Image Designer.

The Key statement. Which functonality? Stat Migration. That is what the statement says. It may not be what they mean but it IS what they said.

Image Designer Revamp

  • Image Design Building (tents): The new Image Designer tents located in Theed, Moenia, Coronet, Bestine and Vreni Island are now active. These locations are where players will go for Stat Migration and Image Design.

  • Stat Migration: Image Designers now have the sole ability to migrate player stats faster than the previous default migration rates. The process will take 10 minutes and requires the Image Modification Booth located inside the ID tents. This functionality has been revoked from the general player base and now requires an Image Designer.

  • Image Modification Booth: Image Designer booths grant the ability to facilitate the new stat migration aspect of the profession and reduces the amount of time needed to perform an ID change in half.

  • Holo-Emotes: A new type of "holo-emote" particle effects have been added to the game. Image Designers will sell these limited use, special use emotes to players. There are 16 unique holo-emotes that represent a "holographic" image for a short period of time.

  • Increased Colors for all Palettes: Hair color, Skin/Fur Color, Lip Color, Cosmetics, Eye Color, Markings and the existing tattoos will all have new colors added to their current palette choices.

  • Price Information on UI: During the Image Modification session, the Image Designer and client can now agree to a price for the displayed design changes. Only upon selecting the confirm button for the Image Designer's changes in the "after" window will the client be billed.

  • Dynamic, Real-Time Updating to Client's Interface: The image designers and their client's interface windows will be linked and dynamically synchronized. Both players will see the “before” and “after” images as it is happening.

  • Image Designer Bug Fixes: Changing a client's hair style from bald can now be undone, eye shapes and eye angles now alter the proper areas, and IDs have the ability to change all male freckles. (i.e. Zabrak and Twi’lek).

Additional Updates

  • Death Watch Bunker: The locked door not unlocking properly should be fixed for the crafting rooms in the Death Watch Bunker.

  • Death Watch Bunker: Corrected some typos in Boba Fett's conversation.

  • Death Watch Bunker: Made some improvements to the foreman conversation.

  • Droid Modules: Fixed structure maintenance modules.

  • Manual Turrets: Fixed a code string with the AT-ST when using a manual turret.

  • Manual Turrets: Made sure that players needed to be declared to use manual turrets.

  • New User Experience: Added warning to the new player final quest info and counter window to relate that the counter does not automatically update without being re-opened.

  • Stat Migration: Image Designers now have the sole ability to migrate player stats faster than the previous default migration rates. The process will take 10 minutes and requires the Image Modification Booth located inside the ID tents. This functionality has been revoked from the general player base and now requires an Image Designer.

  • Turrets: Set turrets to a higher level so that they will death blow.

As always, please post here with any issues you find with these new changes.

Enjoy!

This is the worst change to ever come out in a publish, mini or otherwise. Worse than the crafting change, worse than the +1 HAM DoT change, and worse than the bleed nerf. As a long-time Master Image Designer this change makes me want to cry.

Any chance of having Snoova's haircut added for Wookiees?

(Whenever the art team is working onWookiee armor?)

Also, maybe Wookiees should be able to support braided mullet hair styles and pony tales.... also, no reason they shouldn't be able to wear sungards.

"...The fall of the base on Hoth signaled dangerous times for the Rebellion. In an attempt to gain information about recent assassination attempts on Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa and Chewbacca followed a lead to the Imperial Base in Coruscant. There they hoped to confront Prince Xizor, Underlord of the Black Sun, who was rumored to have information regarding these attempts. Imperial City was not a safe place for wanted Rebel Alliance figures such as Chewbacca and Leia, so to avoid arrest the two disguised themselves as intergalactically known bounty hunters. Chewbacca dyed large patches of black in his hair and adopted the weaponry of Snoova, a well-known Wookiee bounty hunter. To further authenticate the disguise, he reluctantly shaved the fur on his head to a short crew cut.

While on Coruscant, Chewbacca discovered that the charismatic Xizor was responsible for the attempts on Skywalker's life. After a narrow escape from the labyrinth of Black Sun's hideout, Chewie was able to contact Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian and inform them that Leia was being held prisoner on Coruscant by Xizor. The band knew then that they had only one option: go to Coruscant and rescue Leia...."

This is foolish.

I cant name a SINGLE Ahazi Image designer. Now you're going to force some poor SOB to actually play this profession for facilitate the migration of thousands of players stats?

Lets be realistic here. I'm a very long term members of the Ahazi community, and literally cant name a single image designer I could reliably go to for stat migration.

I think the stat migration change is great. Seriously, I never needed to visit an ID because im not the type of person who wants to change the way I look. Now I will have to visit an ID for any migration and thats good. This will definately increase an ID's business and make them important part of the game.

i agree with other people. make stat migration take a lot less time when with an ID, but dont revoke it from everyone. even when people can find image designers, will there be enough of them around for all the stat changes?

The question here is: Can players still migrate stats on their own just slowly and IDs can just do it faster? Or do IDs only now have the ability to migrate stats? This is rather confusing how it is worded hon.

Serious, if you wanted ID to do this then let them be able to get it done in 10 minutes but leave us the option of doing it ourselves, sigh whats next, will I have to track down a armorsmith in game to put my armor on for me ? Will a chef be needed on hand to feed me ?
