This is a good thing.

It's about time the veterans and hardcore gamers got something to entertain us. Now when I'm bored, I know I at least have something to do that I haven't done before. That's what really made the game fun for me during the first month. I was still discovering new things, and sharing new experiences with friends.

I'm not speaking to you in specific, LL, but please don't whine about difficult things in the game. Believe me, you will enjoy them when you have done everything else there is to do.

So let me see if I understand this line of thinking. Because I have played from day one, I must have grinded my way through every bit of content in this game, and now I must be a elite killing machine because what else is there for me to do, hence, all new content for this year must be designed for me in mind.

If I may make a suggestion, if you truely are a "hardcore gamer", wouldn't a game that isn't a rpg be more fullfilling to you? I hear great things about Far Cry.

I hate to complain, but this is a point of interest for only the elite few or strong groups. I hear the new pistol can be found here. The last place was the corvette. That was for the elite few or strong groups. I hear that the new vehicle can be found there. The place before that was the Genosian caves. That was for the elite few or strong groups. I hear that the Geo gun can be found there.

Hey, I'm a solo pistoleer. I stand no chance at these places. I stand no chance of using the new content. I can only fight at fort tuskin for so long without getting bored. Please, please give some content that doesnt require ubber defense stacking and such to play. Please, please add weapons and vehicles without placing them in the hands of those that will sell them for millions.

I feel like your forgetting a very large part of your player base here. I love that you continue to evolve the game into something great. I appreciate your hard work, but please think of the implications to the content your adding.

Thanks.

The difficulty is incredibly too high. Even with a group of 10 elites it is extremely hard to last a long time. Also the lag is rediculous. Can't get anything done in there and it makes it extremely frustrating.

The devs didnt want to hear aboutthis about the corvette. Maybe they will change what they are doing after hearing the same thing twice?

They won't change it because this game desperately needs tough content, there's more than enough easy things to be do.

where in the heck do you get that idea?? ya theres some dungeons, but mid level stuff that is interesting?? few and far between my friend...

I also agree on this verbatim. I've seen Geo sonic blasters going for well over a million (for a gun!!) due to its rarity...can you imagine the DE-10's fetching fee? It'll be unreal. The addition of new weapons (particularly pistols, being a pistoleer) is very welcomed, but, I disagree in the manner in which they're being added...a point Attichetcuk nailed perfectly.

I tried to be optimistic about this new dungeon but it just didn't work out. I can attribute it all to one thing, the Super Battle Droid. It is the most rediculous creature/droid in the game right now. I am in the 1% of people that this dungeon was made for and even though me and my group of 9 got half way down without any casulaties, far too much time is wasted on this stupid droid which shouldn't even exist. Nowhere in SW did I see a droid which takes 10 mins to die from about 8 elite fighters and one 4444 guardian. The npc's are great cause even melee can damage them, but when your doing 10-100 damage to a 200000 ham droid, its just not fun. By the time you kill one, another has already spawned back and it just takes foreever to clear a room which will spawn again right away if you don't move too quickly. My solution to this is take out the Super Battle Droid and it will make the dungeon a whole lot better.

Headed there earlier tonight and overall had a lot of fun down in the Deathwatch Bunker! After we had set up camp and buffed ourselves up the ying-yang, we made our way to wards the bunker complex. It was lagging quite a bit but I'm putting that down to the large interest in the new dungeon on patch day.

Half way to the facility and we are ambushed by a mean looking red-coloured super battle droid. We start hacking away at that and then we find smaller battle droids have joined the fight! We make a break for the clearing in the forest and regroup at the bunker, and manage to take down all the droids and get inside before any more start to spawn.

Down inside we're soon confronted by yet more Super Battle Droids. Spend about 5 minutes wondering how long it will be before we die but manage to hold them off. Another group is in here with us and a couple of NPC mobs run up past us which we manage to dispatch , luckily finding a Passkey A card on one of the Mandos. Still engaging in combat with respawning mobs we decide its time to get out and through the first door, after a bit of umming and ahhing we realise someone who has spoken to Boba needs to use the console so after we've got that sorted we jump through the door.

What then follows is about an hour and a half of constant fighting with almost no let up and certainly no downtime! There was no time to sit and heal so the dacner and musician buff/brandy combo really helped keep the group alive here Throughout the entire time we were inside (we got past the Passkey A door and into the medical centre type area - we were hoping these internal med centres owuld be buff zones or healing places but not so ) I dont think there was any time that we didnt have at least 1 Super Battle Droid on our group. At most it was 4at once (sometime son one player ). And it was great fun!

Things started to get a little repetitive about an hour in, the constant spawn holding us back. We managed toescape a spawn of SBD and hideout in a 'lesser' spawn area of Mandos and Battle Droids, but the SBD took so long to kill we mustve repopped the BD and Mando 10 times! We got a ocuple of items off the NPCs, some Gels for the filters i think and a pistol barrel. We also looted a jetpack injection thingy atowards the end.

We only scratched the surface but had lots of fun doing it. Only a few fatalities occured which is probably a record for our PA... We'll be back but getting deeper into the complex when it takes so long for us to make progress might be tricky

The GSB is expensive because the schematic is super rare and it's actually GOOD. DE-10 barrels and schematics seem to be fairly common, and it kinda sucks. DPS is worse than a DX2 or something unless you have 90+ pistol speed to speed up the abysmally slow DE-10.

Visited Covettte day 1 never went back to darn hard for group of average people like my guild.

Bunker is the greater version of the Covette, why even bother paying the 5000 CR to goto Endor. As a member of an average guild where we may get a group of 7 people if we are lucky, this dungeon does nothing more than cater the the 5% of high end folks you have. Plus the fact that these aren't instanced like Covette will mean ungodwly lag fest from others.

Look at you sister company for making stuff that caters to the top 10% of you customer base, EQ pushed out the Gates of Discord where almost 80% of the content was geared towards folks in the top 10% of haves and have nots. Sales of that expansion were horrible.

My vote for the last two dungeons i.e Corvette and Bunker two thumbs down.

A GREAT design to follow is the EQ: Lost Dungeons of Norrath model, where there is a time limit, the mission is scaled based upon the composit difficulty of your group, put one or two BOSS type mobs per mission and Lastly make them instanced.

If you wanted to keep Mando armor rare then you should simply limit it to Master/Hybrid Professions like MBH or MCM. Or some similiar restriction.

Having a ridiculous dungeon that no one can even get into is a joke.

Not having the proper equiptment to serve up an INSTANTIATED dungeon to prevent ninja-looting is a joke.

You basically have to win the lotto to get the Mando Armor.

As a BH I have put up with nerf after nerf on top of sitting at starports for 90 minutes at a stretch only to find my mark stuck under floor.

*********************************************************************************************************************************************************

I was really really hoping that this was finally going to be something like an elite version ofthe Krayt Skull missions where you follow a series of story-driven quests and at the end you get a cool reward. I don't get it? Why can this be the same? Why is everything a f'ing wild goose chase?

People are paying a monthly subscription subscription to play this game. Most of us are very loyal Star Wars fans and excellent customers. What's the deal?

Why hasn't anyone from SOE/Lucas responded to this stuff?

In my opinion it is great exept for two things:

1) Too many Droids - Althogh we didn't get far as we only had a small group that thoght we'd just go get a feeling of what it's like in there we seemed to do nothing but take out battle droids for the 40mins or so were were there - it would be nice to have some verying NPCs insted, mainly so that someone you bring down as suport (say a CM + Doc) can acctuly put poisions on them etc (droids are only effected by one thing & thats fire as far as I know), maybe more veriaty of Black Sun if you are reluctant to add more Death Watch.

2) As I said we were there for only around 40mins, at that time at least two of us lost our brandys, we went to take more only to find that our stomachs were not emptying once past the first door after the entrance, this none the less made us drop like flys with out CM mind healing us so she had more wounds then anything. I will make a bug report of this tomorow - was going to tonight but was to tired.

Generaly thogh it is nice high end content which alot of us are after in the game & I think will provide a challenge for quite a while to come.

In my personal oppinion thoght great job on this! It is superb!
