Battledroids are overpowered when compared to enimies that they should be equal to,they are stronger then droidekas in SWG, which isnt the case in the movies, at least three times stronger in this game, maybe you guys should call big georgey boy up about this, you call yourselves star wars fans? It makes no sense, stromtroppers are stronger then battledroids, not so in SWG, get with the balance, make the game hard, but geez, you guys are completely destroying the star wars universe, right on the box of this game it says "immerse yourself in the star wars universe like never before", I don't know what universe I am immersed in, but for the most part, it doesnt feel like star wars,I can understand wanting to make a dungeon hard for players, but at least make it make sense and fit in with the rest of the universe, instead of overreacting to player power, these thigns coudl take out a jedi master, there is something wrong with that!!!!!

It's about time the veterans and hardcore gamers got something to entertain us. Now when I'm bored, I know I at least have something to do that I haven't done before. That's what really made the game fun for me during the first month. I was still discovering new things, and sharing new experiences with friends.


I'm not speaking to you in specific, LL, but please don't whine about difficult things in the game. Believe me, you will enjoy them when you have done everything else there is to do.

This bunker is way too hard. Someone answer this question for me..


Why...why would someone, a group or guildgo through all this, wasting tons of money and resources, just to get one player a suit of mando...when it will just decay and they'll have to do it all over again for that one person, not to mention the other people that want it. Isn't the point of armor to wear it? I certainly wouldn't. I would keep it stored away which would be useless.


Extraordinarily hard content like this is only satisfies maybe 5% of the players. The rest of us will die in the first room and never go again...just my two bits.

Bottom line.


FIX THE SERVERS, THEY SUCK.


New content seems pretty cool, rock hard like you said, which is good. I only hope you also add new dungeons that are soloablewith smaller groups in the future.


SWG main fault for me is the time v fun factor, its take far too long to organise big groups, shuttle wait times, having to buff to do anything fun....you get the picture.

hehe rofl.. many negative threads.. i expected this. After reading the TC Boards i knew what was coming.. I was there 15 mins.. decided that i dont want or even need the Mando Armor (would have been cool to havea new and usefull armorbesides the all over allsuperior composite sets)... was thinking about what to do next and finally logged after 30 mins realizing that this might be no fun anyway... A friend and me decided however to give it tomorrow a try... but still have no real reason for me to go.. A jetpack that lifts me 5m over the ground and does nothing else is not really somthing i need but would be nice to have (nothing more) and then the Mando Armor... will it be better then composite ? I dont really know how the resistance are on them .. just know that a few friends of me looted some crappy sorts of that armor with vulns on 3 stats etc. I mean if its not better then Composite Armor then i dont need Mando Armor anyway And what can be even better then 80% Composite mass producedand everywhere quickavailable meanwhile... i mean would you wear that Mando Armor ever then, if its sooo hard to get and will decay the same way like every other armor ? The game needs so manyrevamps meanwhile and it seems the devs dont know where to start at..

not flamin you but as a hardcore player, i went in and had to kill the same mob 5 times oer this ot me extremly bored extrmely quickly.

Completely agree with pretty much everything said here, dont even need to comment.

BUT

Has anyone looked down the road to see how this is going to be with the combat revamp? Armor and weapons getting toned down and we're supposed to do this or the corvette then? If its a complete pain in the ass to do now how are we supposed to do it when were all stuck in 60% composite thats suddenly vulnerable to several damage types ?

AT LEAST GIVE ME MOBS I CAN FRIGGIN INTIMIDATE.

The Veterans and Hardcore gamers are not the majority in this game. You want a challenge go tef ur Jedi and PvP and see how long ya last.

Let me just say that I agree with just about everything that has been posted here.

At the same time, I'm thinking why bother giving the "feedback" TH and the Devs purport to want, when experience tells us that they will not listen and will not even grace us with a response.

After six (6) or more weeks and thirty-six (36) pages of feedback about the Corvette, they never responded and actually went against the (paying) players' suggestions in order to "fix" what they perceived to be a problem with (oh no!!!) soloers, thereby making the previously cool and alreadyvery difficult Corvette into a joke.

Now this dungeon sounds just silly.

What happened to mixing story telling, puzzle solving, exploration, and combat (that fit the storyline of the Star Wars universe)to create difficulty and fun (i.e., the Warren).

The Corvette was like that originally, but then became laughable.

Well, there's my rant all over again.

Maybe some day I'll hear something from the devs (or maybe I'll just get banned for being negative).

That is exactly the style of mission I'd like to see. I play with a group of about 4 or 5 people, and we had a lot of fun with the Warren. However, the Warren really doesn't have that much replayability, and it isn't a particularly big challenge. We could probably find something like that that is replayable in assaulting rebel/imperial bases, but we're not terribly interested in PvP.


This is where I think the dynamic fortresses really would have shined. I think they would've been perfect for the small group style play. I'd like to know if there is any chance of them ever seeing the light of day.

TC had their own thread about it for the past month, now it's on live so it gets posted here.


TC also complained a lot about the damn droids.


To the guy who thinks I'm whining about it being too hard: there's difficult, and there's impossible. The geo cave was (somewhat) difficult, this is impossible. If I had nothing else to do in the game, I'd just quit instead of futilely throwing myself at the same super battle droid spawn, knowing there's no chance of getting inside long enough to do anything worthwhile.
