Thread: Fan Fest Beta Test: Stars, My Destination!

Ebgames has a JTL pre-order box with an ingame speeder as pixelcrack and will also
ship a beta cd, so you can start betatest JTL at 8'th October.
"Pre-order and receive priority entry into the Jump To Lightspeed beta and an exclusive in-game vehicle! Bonus will ship the end of September via US mail at no extra charge. Please allow three to five business days for delivery. After bonus disc ships, you will not be able to cancel your order. You will be charged the total shipping charges when the disc ships. If you choose In-Store Pickup for this game, please contact the store for bonus item availability. Continental U.S. only."
But there we have it "Continental U.S. only." which means europe (and Hawaii I guess) are out
of luck yet again.
Ok, the beta test I can live without but the ingame speeder would be nice to have!
How will it be avaible for Europeans? When will JTL be for sale in Europe?
Will JTL launch on the European servers at the same time or do we have to wait?
Usually I just preorder from EBGames in US to be sure I get the stuff in time and
any promotional ingame items or what not... but seems I am out of luck this time.
Does SoE/Lucasart have any information on the European launch (ingame items)?
My local EB guy said that its just the beta disk you guys cant get. He said there is no reason you guys would not receieve the speeder.
*has coronary*

YES !!!!!
Is this the light at the end of the tunnel that everyone's always talking about? I thought it was a myth before, but I think I can actually see it now.

Well, I guess timing is everything.....
I canceled 6 accounts ( 3 for me, 3 for my girlfriend. I paid for them all), just a few minutes ago.
We played for over a year. Met a few nice people, and had a few good times.
Beta app was put in for "JTL", Though I really dont care much anymore.
I guess I'm just tired of the 2nd job, that doesnt pay the bills.
Tedious, seems to be the "key" word, when I think of this game.
{: tiresome because of length or dullness : BORING tedious public ceremony>}"websters online dictionary"
I do wish you all well in this galaxy!
Though it be far from what I envisioned.
May the force be with you all!
just a side note..., heh
bit by the JTL bug
I'll probably keep at least 2 accts active, just to see..........
(besides, I bought by 3 month plan)
It feels like a punch in the gut to the veterans of this game... it doesseemthat we are notappreciated nor rewarded.
I agree with this. We at least need to get a timeframe on when our invites will come. Just because I didn't fly 3500 miles... and pay more money to Lucas doesn't mean I do not deserve to beta JTL. I was in SWG Beta and have been playing ever since. And there are more like me. We should get a shot at the beginning of beta.
Come on TH.. please respond.
The sooner the better!!

TH's post has been updated with the missing line
Also fan festregistrants please be patientand do not email us until friday if you have not received your invite, we are having to manually send the invites to you so its going to take some timeAnd for the rest of you fan fest attendees are only getting invites now but that does not mean that there will not be thousands of other testers admitted in the near future

TH. I still dont get why People who beta tested for Empire divided get shafted honestly. Yeah i understand these people paid to fly to california or whatever but isnt it a bit sad that you ignore the people who have actually helped with the game in the past not just those who pay more to fly to california?
The True Veterans of this game have to be the most stomped over unappreciated in the History of MMORPGs. Every other Game maker makes a habit of supporting thier long time veterans not making them worthless. The Fact people helped get An Empire divided Through Beta and are even still around almost 16 Months later should be enough to get priority into this Beta.

They've said over and over that veterans would be next in line, how are you being shafted exactly? And additionally, you and several other people who keep complaining about Fan Fest folk keep being extremely presumptuous about who the folks who went to Fan Fest were. Not saying there weren't some who attended who don't fall into the 'day 1/pre day 1 beta' crowd, but I guarantee youthe majorityof us are/were exactly those people, not a bunch of 'n00bs' who just happened to either live in California (I don't) or be rich (I'm not) and aren't veteransand/or don'treally give a flip about the gameor about seriously testing this stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem if you'redisappointed that you're simplynot 'guaranteed a slot' on the front end, and I'm sure I might wish the same thing had I not gone to Fan Fest....but please, stop looking at and automatically treating the folks whoattended Fan Fest as some lower form of life who doesn't care about and isn't as serious about this game as you are and hasn't beena part of the game community as long as you have. You couldn't be more wrong.
Yes, I would like this question answered also. Now not digging any fast fest attendees, but there is a huge portion worthy of the community worthy of testing JTL that didn't attend Fan Fest for one reason or another.

Are you ONLY sending them out to Fan Fest Folks at this time?
