See this is what I dont understand: this is the type of stuff I expect to have in the game allready. I thought I was buying a complete game. A Star Wars game. There should already be mounts, speeders and yes jedi. I am starting to doubt that these things arnt ready. Stop worring about the press for it and GET IT IN THE GAME!! I think they could have been ready, but SOE is holding this stuff out just to keep the game going.


Its like selling someone a car without an engine and saying, "Oh well the engine is coming soon but we really can't say when because our marketing team wants to handle that. Meanwhile keep paying us."


If I would have known that 40-45% of my time would be spent doing nothing more then holding my finger down running back and forth, I REALLY doubt I would have bought it.

I would like to see a bunch of stats, like how many of each class are on each server, and what levels they are. That could possibly lead me to create a new character on another server, or completely change to the focus of a characterI currently have, in order to fill a need.

Dude, some sort of super-nerdy in-depth article about one ASPECT of the combat system (how all the numbers work together) would be great.


Kind of like the armor guide, except you're talking about to-hit chances and defensive modifiers and all that.


Then we might actually understand what the hell is going on.

POIs!

Give us some POIs with cool backgroundstories again, this time perhaps with a better explained place where to start. I was 2 times at the piratecamp on Naboo, rescuing the royal hostages. I still have to find the quest giver.

In generell this was great, it was the best way to show people in-game content out of game to date. Just be more precise.

Quick fixes to make the game fun now: NPCs using weapons and special attacks, reduced resistances on all except faction armor and percentbased encumbrance, faction armor craftable with improved resistances with limited use schematics from recruiters, no permadeath for faction pets, doc buffs percentbased, fixed BH mission payouts, more imperial crackdown activities, replace SBDs on the corvette with high ranking NPCs, reintroduce a Jedi TEF, reward overt players with improved payouts and faction gains

how about a Feature about Jedi Knights. How about a feature of certain planets or list details about all of 1 planet cool places to visit and so fourth.

Some Vehicle info would be nice. Surely you must have a lot of prelimary info you could tease us with.



  • What types?

  • How many people can they carry?

  • Can they carry stuff?

  • How will they navigate the terrain, will we only have set pathways or can we go anywhere and up steep mountains?

  • Will they be craftable?

  • Any Weapons and Armour?

I like the Friday Feature to continue just as you described them.


Info on new stuff, a look behind the scenes, highlighting certain Themeparks/static dungeons/quests and so on...


I remember from Beta there used to be a section: "Introducing the Team or some such..." and each Dev/Community Person had a little page with a little bio and sometimes a pic.


I'd love that to be continued/updated, maybe a "Get to know the team behind SWG"-feature.


Or what that other chap said: run around the offices, take pics and post them, maybe like "A typical day in our SWG-Offices" .


I think such "insights" might be nice from time to time.

I'd like to see another mount movie... with 1 important change...


I want to see some COMBAT....


1. Can a creature fight while you're on it


2. Can YOU fight while mounted


3. When attacked, who gets hit?


4. what happens if 2 mounted types /dual ???
