Or... How about details on what the different city rank require populations wise, and what buildings are avilable at each rank.
How about a Player Cities breakdown?
The cost of each structure, perhaps some common resources required.
Will they be Planet Specific? Or can you mix and match?
Will maintenence be a part of Cities? If so, Rent will be pretty high to support such a bustling cityscape.
I assume lairs won't spawn in towns, so how will you deal with the long range distances people will have to travel become fixed later? Will we be parking our mounts outside of town? Or can we ride about freely?
Such things, would be of interest to know. As well as "Can we build walls?"
I LOVE the friday feature. Its great how much useful ingame information you get from it. I have a few Friday feature items on my wishlist.![]()
1. A Jedi friday feature: I leve it up to the devs how much they want to divulge. I don't want to sound overly anxious, but I do want to find out what jedi holocrons do.
2. An adventuring friday feature: Tell us more about obscure quests and theme parks. Where is the gorax on Endor etc?
3. An upcoming profession friday feature. How do I become a pilot when space update comes? What if I'm an MBH novice medic with almost nothing left for skill points?![]()
Three wishes, thats all said the genie.
I really enjoy the ones about things that we might not know about SWG, no matter how long we've been here. That "Ten Things To Do" one, or whatever it was, was my favorite one so far, because it gave us something to actually DO in the game that we didn't even know was there. Obviously the ones that talk about new content and such are great, but just as obviously they can't be done every week.
The ones that area let-down are the patently blatant "features", such as the "how to form a hunting group" article. The house one was pretty sad too, considering you can't walk for five minutes outside a city without bumping into a house. While the floorplans were nice, why not add something else that's more useful to people who have been playing the game for more than a week, like a couple of links to web sites on SWG architecture? Or maybe a screenshot or two of the wire-mesh, and a quick paragraph on the development of the houses themselves? And when you DO add major information, like the new updates to PA management in the manual, for god's sake MAKE IT REALLY REALLY OBVIOUS that the info is now out there, LOL, rather than toss it in as a widdle biddy link at the end of what looks like a cut and paste of the last week's Friday Feature!!!
Now that the game has been out for a while, I'd love to see more of the "behind the scenes" stuff. The Player Structures demographic shots were great. I remember back in Beta we once got to see a chart of where our money was going and it sparked some great discussion. While I have a feeling it would not be very . . . um . . . constructive to see it now, similar things that show how the game is growing and becoming its own community are pretty facinating, such as the mentioned insights into the economy, or maybe a glimpse at what classes are currently the least popular (might get some folks to switch to fill in for the demand), things like that.

Info on Polititian, including the skill tree and whether the starting cost will be 15sp like normal professions, or 6sp like the elites.
Mount info!!!
Oh yeah, and I like the Featured Player thing if you go that route from time to time. Rarely. Sometimes. Like once every two months. If they do something really different and unique and add to the game.
