Are they putting a way for us to tell what guns have been sliced? And will imperial rank mean anything when searched?

Think i've read that static NPC (non-themepark) quests were resetted for people who have completed those. GREAT!

Chef looks a little overpowered now though

Great! But according to the notes, insured items are always exempt from death decay... I had thought it was only PvP deaths, but the notes imply any death. Just curious...

Can we get a Friday Feature in the near future on exactly how all skill mods work in the game?

We need an official guide on skill tapes/armor attachments, looted items with skill mods (weapons and clothes), BE/Tailor made stat clothing, and the new Chef skill buffs.

How do they all work in relation to each other? If I have +25 bleeding resistance from skill tapes, can I add BE/Tailor made bleeding resistant clothes, or is the +25 cap a hard cap, no matter what type of item you use to get to +25? And an official guide on how to use Skill tapes/armor attachments!

Ditto! This info should have been there in the first place.

Examining the weapon or armor should show what was sliced: Damage, Endurance orEffectiveness and what percent.

Otherwise, this stuff sounds really great. I can't wait to see the changes to Bestine.

Fantastic? No death penalty in pve is a horrible idea. Then we go back to using death as a free teleport.

I have to say that while I appreciate a bit of discovery, hiding the laws seems to be a bit overboard.

I remember the time, when i had to run back to my corpse to get my items...... nice old days..... that was a kick to avoid death!

SWG gets more and more a child-game....

If you don't like it go play something else.

BRING IT ON!

Love everything I have read about the crackdown patch!.

We imps getting demoted? Excellent!

The rebs hiding in dark corners? Sweet!

Make this game as it is supposed to be! The empire is a dictatorship after all.

I will be more carefull with what kindstuff I carry around and will only use sliced and spice when I know I am gonna need it and then Ihave to tread carefully...

Make it a challenge to play!

It is too easy to master professions andgather uber stuff. Almost every player runs around in a sliced composite armor, fully packed with different spices...

I get scanned and lose some good items? Sure, of course I will get pissed! At my own clumsiness!

I as a imp must be carefull and abide the imperial laws and the rebels must be carefull not to run in to stormtroopers. Just as it should be!

lol well after having said that.... Bring on the flames! (I suspect there will be some) but this ishowI feel about this.

ummmm..someone plz explain the point of being imerial to me adter this patch, seems this is not Imperial Crackdown but rather Rebel Faction Heavean, I know if I were a rebel, given my combat ability, (see below) Id walk into a starport woth spice on friggin purpose, get a TEF, WOOT for me, beatdown the stormys around me, come at me in PVP if u want to....ull get dead as them, so someone tell me why should I stay imperial and lose Rank/Faction points for using what I use to fight? Or go rebel and get loads of FP cause they wanna try and take m spice, I kill em and some dumb PVP player gets alittle to close and has to die?

- I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.
...and making SWG a better place to be.

Would be really nice to know more clearly how things will work in regards to contraband. The penalty for an Imperial player seems to be way out of balance in comparison to a rebel, after all, if there will be no decay on death as long as one is insured and rebels only get a tef for being caught then they suffer no penalty for getting killed - hence no penalty for getting caught. Even if their contraband is confiscated the balance is kaput, so to speak. Do rebels also run a greater risk of being scanned?

I have to add that a hell of a lot of folk I talk to don't seem to know anything about any of this
