PLS TH MAKE IT EASIER, A LOT EASIER, JUST REMOVE DECAY FROM INSURED ITEMS BOTH IN PvP AND PvE.

I really dont like decay when it happens to me, but heck there must be a price for dieing, and item decay is a good one.


You take that away for some small amuont of faction points, and you will see rush battles instead of more complicated strategices, since no one will care.


If you are going to make this pass, at least make it cost like 1000 faction points, so people think twice before getting it

Why are we insuring and then insuring our insured items?


I'd be happy to see this implemented because at least it would deal with the problem...


However, that doesn't change the fact that its a retarded solution to a stupid problem created by the Dev Team in the first place.


We shouldn't have to, essentially, insure twice. Its a silly, stupid waste of time.


Better than nothing, but still silly.


Just my honest opinion as a paying customer.

Considering you cannot insure weapons, and these are the main concern, this option does absolutely NOTHING.


How about removing decay completely for those who die while overt?


Maybe then you would see more fighting amongst facional members.

But you are already paying, remember, you insured your items, its just weird to pay for nothing, but even more weird is having to insure already insured items, this FP is just a 2 mins thought idea.

I would not say we were lied to exactly.


What we were told before is that decay in PVP would be gone for publish 6 and proabably be replaced in a future publish with some type of faction insurance.


Then after exploration the devs came back and said the no PVP decay was not possible because of coding issues that they did not realize, and any decay changes would have to wait for the next publish.


Now we are alooking at publish 7 for resolution which TH said in the first place coding would be done to make it some kind of kind of faction based insurance.


I do not see where the lie is. I do see that the DEVS did not research before they said "yes we could remove it in publish 6". They should have researched before responding

This is basically what I have been saying in my last 4-5 posts.


This move makes absolutly no sense what-so-ever, unless the dev's realized how screwed up the 1% decay was to start off with and to keep themselfs from looking dumb (to late might I add) they decided to add the FP insurance for the insurance.


The dev's have to much power and say in how the game operates. This game is gradually going from Star Wars Light to a mix between Battle Star Galactica & Buck Rogers & Lost in Space & Planet of the Apes.

Isn't the whole death penalty to get away from kamakazi clone wars? This is just going to put you back to where you were before you put in any decay, albeit with a money sink. If someone has to reinsure their armor 10x a day to PvP, it's exactly the same as paying 10K credits worth of faction pts to get the faction day pass.

Wouldn't matter howmuch it cost... I won't use it... I don't like PVP... especially when it's forced upon me. If we pay for regular insurance... there should be NO decay... and 5% w/ NO Insurance.

it all seems very simple to me and (no offence) an obvious solution:


Dev1:We need to sort PVP death

Dev2:We can't tel when it's PVP, do we have to write in ANOTHER new counting system for these nerds

Dev1:Umm......

Dev2:We can tell when what faction of course

-then you have to clone 1000k


i-nsure all your items 1000k-3000k


then you have to wait 20 minutes to get where you're going. (one to the starport - new planet - next shuttle blah blah blah)



then you die in one shot from a flame cone or mind poison.



now you're asking us to pay out faction to get a days worth of free decay? it's just more details and annoyance. we WANT to be able to jump into PVP anywhere and anytime to help our friends.


not have more prep work just to play for 24 hours.



and what happens when you're defending a base right at that 24 hour end mark and you POOOF you die outside the mark. then you have to STOP fighting and store your armor or keep helping your friends defend and lose your armor all together.


this one fight right over the 24 hour line could make the whole thing pointless as you can lose clothing/armor/items in a few deaths.



you guys need to take a course in making the GAME FUN.



TAKE OUT DECAY ON INSURANCE.


it's not a faction related issue its a global game issue.


faction perks should give us bonuses to our performance (suggested in many fine threads on the GCW board which you should spend more time at)

Whatever you guys decide to do, you better do it quick. I can't believe that me, a Wookiee member of the Rebellion can walk into Bestine Overt and not even get hassled for it by Imperials. PvP is just about DEAD all Intrepid because of this. AndI don't mean in Publish 7, you guys need to hotfix something NOW. The longer you wait, the worse it's gonna get. I wouldn't be surprised if it's to the point where people just totally forgot about the GCW, it has gotten that bad. Please tell me you realise this, this decay nonsense in factional combat has DESTROYED one of the main aspects of the game and you guys need to not wait on this issue any longer. That's a fact...
