Thread: Friday Feature Jan 23rd Jedi Revamp
Current system is so restrictive that no one will actually play their jedi. I'd actually like to see jedi. A few. So make any death by a non fs person match the exact system presented. But death by another jedi is permanent. If you are high enough you become a blue glowie.
There can be only one...
I like that plan. Let's do that.

Ok, let's all speculate here for a few hundred pages...argue about who's right, and moan about our personal preferences...this is getting rediculous. IN MY OWN OPINION.....it looks to me like they are changing the path to becomming a jedi...just like the path to becomming a doctor, medic, marksman, any other profession. To all those out there that said I was crazy for saying that I believe they aren't changing the process to open the FSS,....show me where, in thier post, they mention the Force Sensitive Slot????..thought so........I'm done.....gonna go play the game.....almost Master Dancer...
I hate the current FS system, it was hastily and ill-conceived, but you put it in place and now you have to honor it. Maybe that means you grandfather in all current characters (future characters do not have 5(+?) randomly selected skills and Holocrons stop dropping); maybe that means that you have two FS systems working at the same time. But since the problems inherent in the current system are not game-breaking and are of your creation, you have to stand by them while you introduce the alternative system.
You guys put us to work, you set up a system where a player had to become an achiever and a grinder if they wanted to get to the higher end game, now you have to honor the work we have put in with more than just words.
I think this system is very fair. How ever to balance out the pvp. If an imperial is involved in pvp with a Jedi and a Jedi uses his/hers powers the imperial should get a window popup option to be able to "report" the jedi to Imerpial authorities and this puts a TEF on him and in time if the Jedi stays in that radius imperial npc troops should begin to appear.
The report feature should also only be seen for imperials and Jedi's should not know that the imperials are doing it or when they do it.
However if Jedi have a high force skill they could see the future and a mysterious force msg that says something like " You feel a presence of danger is near"
Something like this will limit Jedi from doing stupid things like getting in PVP battles.
Also Co vert Rebel could also be giving the option to report a jedi.
Just a thought
5%?
10%?
20%?
30%?
40%?
50%?
I worry that we will reach 25% very quickly.

Of course SOE would listen because insatisfied customers equals less account which in turn means less money for them.Hey, here's a **edit**ing clue. How about now since more Jedi will be invading the Galaxy, try fixing the FUBAR bounty system for Jedi. Make mission terminals spit out real PC Jedi 24/7, make droids work, etc. etc.
not to highjack this post or anything but...
Looks like your the one whos upset over permadeath. You know how long it takes to master a profession, especially one you do manually, as in non macro? Mow try and master 8 professions. As for your statement about disatified customers = less $$$, seems like a very biased comment, all you care about is your BH profession... nevermind other professions alot worse off than you. Droids will work.. soon, ever heard of Droid Invasion? Why do BH need to hunt jedi when no body plays jedi atm because its just a waste of time?
anyhow good job with the jedi thing devs... id rather do challenging quests with no leads than grind professions day after day for months. Even if there are more jedi running around, the BH will hunt them down once the system gets fixed.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
