Ok here's a thought. I ask if you agree with me please post it. The Devs say frequently 'Oh thats a hard change' or 'That would require a lot coding'. Here's my thought...

And your point is!??!!?!

This is a MMORPG a complex PC game playable by thousands, of course its not the easiest code in the world. But the developers of the game should be able to implement anything.

Like we care about how hard the change is? They're prorammers, this is their job. Bottom line if it is REALLY that hard to tell a different between a PvP death and a PvE death than something is wrong. I just refuse to believe its that hard, I'm sure a programmer could do it if he really wanted too.

I just feel like everytime an idea is suggested we get an answer of 'Oh that would be too hard, NEXT!'. Please, am I right or wrong but didn't TH say the decay would be removed? He said that.

Yeah, I get tired of this pathetic excuse too. I could give a **edit** if it's hard to impliment. If it's possible, DO IT ANYWAYS. It's your job, we don't want to know how difficult it is.

And another thing I tire of. If you (TH and Devs) are going to continue treating us like this, drop the lame friendly act. I don't buy it. You are not believable. How about you actually make your reputation worth something with your customers before pretending to be their gaming buddies...

Its a faction subtraction. You suffer the same faction loss regardless of what kills you (MOBs have faction as well.)

Dont think of the system process death, the challenge is in measuring what kills you - - a laser blast is a laser blast and a slash from a blade is a slash from a blade.

I've never lost faction when an NPC Rebel kills me, only PCs.

Here's my vote for giving a try to "No decay when Overt". Is *that* possible, TH?

It's easy to see what SoE want's you to do about this... if you don't clone, you don't decay. so they obviously want you to go buy 2 accounts, and make your second account a buff/rezbot. I've realized this, and I have done so. Now, if I die in PvP, I just have my doc bot rez me. end of story. ALL SOE CARES ABOUT IS THE MONEY. Not your pristine gaming experience, or the concerns of its customers, or the integrity of the genre that is Star Wars. they just want their paychecks.

While I firmly do believe that they have no way of removing the 1% from PvP, the decay is killing PvP and ifthey can't get it out in that singular instance, then they should take it out of the game entirely. if they want people to PvP, then they need to make it not ruin our PVE experience by costing us a suit of armor every 100 deaths (or less) .

I lost credits, everything is broke from professions, GCW, Cities, name your flavor of major issue, etc. Whats the plan? Help us out maybe?

TH there've been many good ideas in this thread, and posted bu the GCW corespondence.

Are you going to ignore us all?

Are you going to prove right all those who say the DEVs are out of touch with the players?

This was used as a prominent example of the DEVs actually listening to the players. Are you ready to confirm that the DEVs don't care at all what their customers think?

Sorry, Not Buying it....

Do you lose FP when you die to a faction NPC?

Do you lose FP when you die to a MOB?

Why not use that Trigger?? or is that too complicated too? Dear god.... Someone might ACTUALLY have to write some working code!!!

The code is in place I suggest you slack-asses get to your job and find the trigger for this.. use its designation to cancel an Item decay loop before you guys are Looking for another job. To be totally honest... you folks act like you have some sort of exclusivity to the IT world... newsflash, you dont. So stop feeding us the bull**edit** and do your go ddamned jobs or IWILL fire you. think I Cant?......... I will be one less paying customer... paying your paycheck..... and no, I do notoffer a severance package. People are leaving this game in DROVES....... New subscriptions are down... New "HUGE" games coming out. Are you sweating yet?

lol must be sucky programmers if they even can't tell the difference between a PC db or an npc/creature db.

I know mmorpg's are alot more complex then other games/programs but this doesn't seem very hard to program imho.

The biggest obstacle to that is if nothing decays then Tailors and Armorsmiths don't get repeat business...and we need to love them too.

2 Things:

A) My armor decays plenty fast as it is without death decay; I can burn through a set hunting on Dath in a matter of days

B) I currently have a number of clothing items at 0 condition, yet I can still wear them. Why do I need to see a tailor again? I can see it now; I'll be called an exploiter for wearing clothes with 0 condition...

Point:

Your"biggest obstacles" are not changed at all by the complete removal of decay. The Armorsmith comment is complete BS, and until the Devs figure out a way to make items unwearable at 0 condition there is no point in re-visiting a tailor unless you want to change your look.
