1. Bazzar/Vendors - Usability of the bazzar is worse than when it was laggy as treacle, without resource names and volume other than the 'generic name' the experience of using the bazzar is well painfull, try finding a specific type of steel in c-net on the bazzar and you'll understand.

2. Weapons and Armor switching, doing anything gets put into the action queue. This change really doesn't help anyone, if you get jumped and need to put your armor on or heal your dead before you've done it. It makes professions like BH which rely on weapon combo attacks ineffectual, Squad Leader with any other profession pointless, Doc with anything pointless. This may have been a fix to an exploit, but this simply is a nerf for everyone, there must have been a better less gameplay destructive means of doing this.

3. Bike warping, this seems to have got out of control now, I did a simple test, called bike, mounted, then got off bike warped 150m away from bike. That was without moving on the bike, repeatable about 1 in 10 times, moving one the bike pretty much increases the chances of it happening.

Here's the problem with the delay:

It stacks. It queues. It can't be cleared. And it exists even when not in combat. ptui!

Add to this that it's not just armor that's affected.

We, the player community, should not have to fight with the ui. When I have to explain more than a dozen times a day to new players that: No, they're not lagged. Yes, it's a feature. Yes, it's not a good game mechanic even though it's sort of realistic. Then there's a real problem. Once again, the many should not suffer from the acts of the few.

Could you tell us what Force Luck does exactly and what impact does it have with or without that skill ?

Could you tell us what Force Vehicule does exactly and what impact does it have with or without that skill ?

Could you tell us if Force Melee Speed increase lightsaber speed ?

How do you surrender the first Force Sensitive Lines ?

What happen if we want the Force Vehicule skill to play in JTL expession ? Those who didn't pick Force Vehicule, will they be able to get it instantly from the trainer ?

Many of us can't build our Jedi until we know what those skills really do and the answers are not covered by the Knowledge base Bruce Economy released.

It only takes 30 seconds to answer, what is taking so long ?

Before the patch, I hadonly seen a handful of Jedi while I was playing.

After the patch, I've seen several of these so called "rare, extinct" Jedi roaming around Theed and Coronet today. Saw bout 30 wandering around and swinging lightsabers without a care in the world in Theed just now.

Must be a bug.

Hasn't the Jedi aspect of the "instant armor" been rendered moot? My understanding is that Jedi are now unable to wear armor or would their robes be considered armor. Could there be a more effective solution here such as applying a DOT timer instead of an equip timer?

No, Jedi can wear armor - - they just can't wear armor and use Force powers. And fwiw, its not *just* because of Jedi...there were other instances as well. That was just the best example.

Ok, during combat (red X next to your name) there is a 3 second delay ... fine.

BUT why is there 3 SECOND delay when you are NOT in combat. Is there some Exploit involving armour that happens when outside of combat? or is this a bug that will be fixed???

Personally I find it annoying to have to wait to unequip and equip armour before and after a battle. You don't know if it's lag and you sometimes have a tendency to hit the button twice which ends up equpping and unequipping your armour.

Please respond.

The 3 second delay during combat was put in because of the armor and weapon equipping macros. Some of the problems associated with "instant armor" areinstances like theJedi "armor macro" wherebya Jedi could press a single toolbar button that would unequip all of their armor instantly, allow the to then use their force powers and then press that button again and re-equip all of their armor instantly. There are other situations in the game where players were getting unfair heals and weapon advantages because of this.

Bounty Hunters have a particular pain with this because it hamstrings some of their most effective combos. There are other examples of this as well, but the change was necessary. The other aspect to this is that players were using these macros to compenasate for certain combat shortfalls. The right answer for the game is to address those things in the combat balance.

apparently you missed the question ...

how is this important when the macro is usedOUTSIDE ofcombat?

you cant tell me that the programmers are incapable of writing code to tell whether someone is engaged IN COMBAT or not .. i see every reason for implementing this while someone is engaged in combat .... but when im running around dant surveying, i shouldnt have to sample while still in my armor for fear of getting jumped ..

i use macros for taking my armor on and off before i check the quality of a resource.the reason for this is such that i do not spend the next 10 mins regenerating my action, because i have to leave my armor on so i dont get killed by a random spawn .. all this delay does is add an unnecessary time sink into the game because you cannot be bothered to spend a little extra time so that this only affects the people who were using it to gain an advantage IN COMBAT.

the rest of us dont need any more of our time wasted ...

TH, I have acouple of basicquestions that I've never really seen directly answered:

Jedi can wear armor, but they cannot use Force Powers while doing so;

While wearing armor, can they still:

1. Equip their saber while wearing armor.

2. Get normal xp, not force power xp, just normal xp, while using their saber on creatures in PvE.

Really would like a definitive answer on this one, it affects my and so many other people's game styles.

An answer for the reason that:

The equip delay affects both armor and weapons

Happens both in and out of combat

The reason is coding. ALL equip functions will probably work this way (I am speaking blind here as I haven't played the game since the patch). I bet if you tried to macro dress yourself in just a shirt, pants and boots, you'll get the same 30 second delay. The reason it will do it with everything that equips is for the ease of the coding. I suppose they could work on it just for armor, but that would mean more coding and more testing with more possibilities of things getting fouled up. Not impossible, just not cost effective at the moment (with everything else they are/should be working on).

Although I too would be interested in knowing two other reasons besides Jedi exploiting the armor up macro that this was decided to be done.

I have a serious complaint about the Armor Equip Delay. I, being a Female playing a female in the game, find a problem with the delay going from Dress to armor since NOW I will be standing in a starport/outpost half naked and subject to all the comments. You better believe I will report every single comment and you WILL here from me every single time until you remove this armor delay!!!

I don't mean to be a pain about this but its already difficult enough being one of the few real female players in a male dominated game, this just adds to the problems.

Moonstar

I have to agree with Moonstar on this one. Lets keep the Ladies happy. To few real ones left here as it is. Is there no comprimise with this. What is the big deal with armor being equipped as it once was? I have a female friend and when she equips her armor she is undressed for a period of time as well. At first i thought she was messing with me, then we figured out that it was the armor. Just another way to degrade our women players...... Will the madness ever end.......

Well, erm all your examples so far in these threads have used Jedi as the example, how about a better one ?

Nope, I've checked. You can still equip a set of clothing instantly, unless you are putting on a mixture of clothing and armour in which case the clothing does get caught up in the delay

I hate everything about this patch. Is it possible to revert back? The PvP ranking is a good idea; but, it's not worth it for everything else that came with it.
