Posting here for what its worth. What if you have an elite group of players, all highly skilled in group combat that have no problem fighting as a group. Then that means you don't have any of the required professions to actually build any of the armor. DE is a mess. Not even going to spend anytime on that or how hard it is to find one that is not a holo-grinder or "heck no I wont go to the bunker, this is my alt character. I have no fighting skills. As a matter of fact how many Master lvl crafters that you know of have any, or better yet any effective fighting skills? I have am in a guild and we pride ourselves on being skilled fighters. We don't craft. So what is our option? Trust any of the grinders with the armor and materials and trust we will get our parts? Have a Jedi go with us as backup? What the heck is that. Jedi are supposed to be more rare than hens teeth. Not, " YAY look at me!"at just about any populated starport. I also must commend you on locking the profession for the time being. There are far too many Jedi on my server as it is. Anyway I could go on all day about that and its not a dev issue, so in closing I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Why is Bounty Hunter armor ( says it right on the pieces ) able to be worn by any class? Kinda bumb I think. I mean I cant wear the Wookie armor when I am a zabrak, whats the differance? Also with the revamp and all around general " forget about bugs, lets make the Jedi MORE powerful " patch, did you ever think that the majority of players do not have Jedi, and there are some ( like me ) who are OK with that. I even bought another account to make a now usless MBH. Now the only armor that can slowJedi down is almost impossible to get. And I bet I can get a line of Jedi to go down there and back me up so I can have armor to fight them with.......<----sarcasm. I never grinded a profession because the rubix cube told me too. I do not have any simpathy for people who did. They all think they deserve something because they did something they all gripped about all the time. Sorry I don't see it. I totaly understand that the Jedi are a HUGE marketing draw, and crowd pleaser. I thought that was why there was a game called KoTOR, and Jedi Academy. Sorry to go off on a tangent, but I see the 2 items as being related. The Jedi finally get their Robes and Superman powers, and to keep all the other ppl that didn't use their 15.00 a month to tear through classes and trash the economy and gameplay without looking back, get the ability to try and hopfully get a piece of Mando. If you stayed this long thanks, and you must not be a Jedi

Seems everyone hates the tuffnes of this bunker, yet i have not been there. I also hate the fact that some npcs need 20 guys to take down, to me thats not Starwars, 5 or 6 i can believe, but not a mob of 30 men for 1 npc. But whats cracking me up is all 40 of you in a group go down their to get 1 set of mandolorian armor for 1 guy? So whos first?

Expect us entertainers to kill the DWB mobs with our nasty Slitherhorns and Star Wars 1, do you?

- droid engeneer: new chassis, modules. (not only mando crafting)
- smuggler: perhaps a molecular clamb that pops up one more window which asks you what you want to slice ? onetimeuse ?
- Entertainers: i actually dont know what a mandalorian merc does on vacation but it MUST have something to do with entertainers. as i said : high lvl dungeon, high lvl loot. new songs learnable from shematic, and instruments, clothing with stat mods and special VIP look for dancers.

A high level zone with super powered enemies, that you need to group up in large numbers, in order to get a rare set of items. Will likely be marginalized in difficulty, and easy to solo, later when pay for expansions are released that raise the skill cap. Useful for camping continuously so that you can farm a set of semi-rare items.
Sounds an awful lot like most of the dungeons in EQ as well.
No thanks, not interested.

I found the Death Watch Bunker to be absolutly awful, the difficulty would be what i rate abnormaly hard, even compared to corvette. Infact it's just the corvette without the timer and you can drag a few more people to thier doom with you if they want to come.
0 out of 6 attempts have made it for me. And every attempt had 2 full groups... It's very much pointless to return at this point as similar to the corvette which I'll never attempt again.

Brute force will not work, almost all times we have used groups with less than 10 people. And the last 8 times we have not had a death before buffs out or when we do a tactical retreat when buffs are nearly gone.
Why do people die?
Your worst enemy in DWB is a disorganized group, fighting in the wrong position and people running around.
We even picked up the second key and got out with only 4 people.
What I try to say with that is if you think out a good route and plan ahead, and make sure your group knows where to be and what to do then its not that hard, well hard but far from impossible.

This is just a thought. After reading the new dev chat and a couple of comments about the colour and mandalorian armour. The devs stated that it was made random so that players have to go back and get more pieces to make the DWB more playable so they either have to go back to the bunker or trade with other players. However I think the colour choices are awful and I think there are alternative answers
So the devs want to make the DWB replayable. I can think of 2 ways to get colours for mandalorian and still keep it playable.
The first 1 is make a customisation kit for mando droppable loot in the bunker, but rare as with most of the other items. This item can only be used once to colour a certain part. As fas as I can tell there are pieces of armour with which 2 colours (ie the actual armour and undergarment type part) This would mean you might need up to 18 kits to colour a full set but because of the rarity will keep the bunker replayable. It also means these can be sold a little cheaper than an actual mando piece. If not find the kits in the bunker, then perhaps even drop loot items that are required to create these kits which would have to be made by a crafterin a crafting station inside the bunker. These lootable items could be coatings or coloured dye.I would like to say that these colours should NOT fade over time after the kit is used and will allow a player to choose the right colour of their armour.
The second idea is leading on from the end of the last one. Have a another crafting station in the bunker which a piece of mandalorian can be put in. U might have to get other lootable items to change the colour like rare dye or coatings etc These lootable items could vary in colour so you would have to get to get different colours for each part. The crafter could then place the mandalorian piece inside the crafting station along with the new items to get up the colour customisation and can choose.
I reckon both of these ideas are good, but I prefer the creating the kit one. This will allow crafters a return in selling these items and would prevent griefing from someone who might not like to hand over their armour to another player. Also it is better as the chances are a crafter might also get the colour wrong so having a kit would allow a player to take time to get it right.
This also brings me to another point away from colouring armour but adding attachments or better resists. As many have stated in the past that they think mando should have resistance to LS damage. How about have an crafting station which would allow the famous cortosis (or however it is spelled to be woven into the armour) THis would mean it would either have to be harvested outside the bunker or mined within it. There could be random spawns either in the mine or outside as to the material which is of different quality. Again if it was mined within the bunker then it will add another replayability value that you have to keep going back to find out if there is any or good quality there. You should only be allowed to mine so much at one time and then later take it to the crafting station. There would be a risk here as well, as if the crafting fails you could ruin your current piece of mando which will add to the risk. It also means you will get varying types of LS damage resist. I also don't think the resist should ever get as high as other resists but at least have some. Other people in forums have pointed that jango got his cut off by a sabre, so why not jsut lety LS damage resist be able to be crafted on all pieces apart from the helmet.
All of these things would add to the replayability to the bunker but give you a good set of mandalorian. I also think that jedi etc could not complain as the amount of time or money which would be spent in creating this kind of armour would probably be in the region of months to get a full set of good stuff, comparible to unlocking a FS slot. I am not saying make it totaly resistant to the jedi but will give better resists that what is currently about.
I also think other attachments could be found, looted and crafted within the bunker for mando armour. Lots of varying types such as skill enhancements, DOT defense enhancemts to cater for all the different professions who can wear it. Ie better accuracy with an llc for bh or an extra attachment for the helmet for rangers to increase raders etc to track people.
Again I can't see why this could not be added and would keep in touch with the plans of the bunker for more playable and has a return value, (well apart from time to implement the changes cos there is so much going on at the moment)
Wot u think?

or add a quest in the bunker that gives you the LS resistant material.
but the recoloring seems like pure laziness to be honest, I find it hard to believe that they implemented this so poorly so they cant changed the colors.

Now we have a nice mandalorian helmet on Farstar to.
The random colors are a real downer, and the devs/csr not beeing able to change it is pretty cheap. It cant be that hard can it, really?
Other than that I can only say that DWB is a fantastic addition to the game.
And if people start to think they will notice that its not that hard really.
I would say taht the corvette brings more surprices and tricky situations than the DWB.

Death watch bunker- i finaly understand the name
so the devs get together witha lil party and watch players pointlessly die in the bunker right
pluses
-none (havent even been past the 5th room)
negatives
-where did these droids time warp from?
-really rare loot
-ridiculous droids
-impossible difficulty
-takes well over 4-X hours to complete
-not accomplishable for people with normal schedules
-spawns are too rare to gather enough armor peices unless you wait until server reset to get them
-impossible spawn times
-little or no reward
-boring
-little or no plot due to inablity to reach inpc characters deeper in
all in all "DOH!!" what were the devs thinking
also i hear that all skills will soon be unstackable, and that buffs will be reduced now how is this going to be accomplishable after that patch?
