It is a absolutly dumb idea, to send all the people to this one and only town on dathomir. Bad Design now needs grouping.
It's a bad idea playing bad designed games. I consider canceling too, since I have done everything else in the game but Jedi and now there is nothing to do but wait. (Till all others are Jedi...).

Okay, I'm really ticked off... First, my fiance, Deymonnica in game, gets bugged to where she CANNOT train anyone for AP, ok so a CSR sup gives her the 80 ap needed to master marksman... shewas still bugged where people CANNOT train her and she still has the other bug. She was barely interested in the game to begin with, THEN we get an e-mail stating the Dev's FORGOT about her problem. Ok, I'm a patient person but she isn't. She has now quit the game. Then I log on today to find out that it's gonna possibly be phase 2 before I can get into the village, and SOE's been screwing people over by jacking up the number of required holo's. Ok, increasing them's fine, but not telling people or OUTRIGHT LIEING about it is a whole other ball game. SOE, you have piss poor customer relations for SWG. Customer Service in Everquest has always been alot more personal, and ALOT more responsive than what I'm seeing here. As it stands, I'm also dropping my crafting account. So there's 2 of our accounts gone because of the way SOE handles themselves in SWG... You all need to pop over to the EQ cubicles and ask for some pointers guys.

this new system is even more stupid and frustratingthan the old one.
I refuse to do some hologrind because i play the same profession since the beta but i was really intresting in playing a jedi. But now i just see that a have to wait sevral months because i'm in the last group because i don't do some hologrind. And i'm sure that in several months the devs will say :"no more old man visits" because there is too many jedi....
So i can't see why the devs have change the system ?

sounds like you came up with a great way to limit lag in the village. hope it works.

Even a 24 hour notice would have been acceptable, than raising the hopes of all the players and especially those who took a day off work/school in order to do something they worked so very hard for.
These are just things that have been revealed in the past day...do you really want us start digging up all the monstrous things you have done to us in the past year for everyone to view? Something you dont seem to understand. You're jobs are to make this game fun and rewarding to us. You're jobs are not to lie to us, steal from us, cheat us, treat us like fools, forget about us, step on us, ignore us, or give us false hope. Do you hate your fan base so much that you think you shouldn't inform us when something like this happens? Are we only $$$ to you? Pull your heads out of you-know-where and talk to the people dammit!

Devs, Thunderheart, WHOEVER.
YOU NEED TO MAKE THE VILLAGE INSTANCED RIGHT NOW! GET OFF UR A$$ES AND PULL AN ALL NIGHTER, EVEN ALL WEEKEND'ER TO FIX THE UNMISTAKALBY HUGE ERROR YOU'VE MADE. I cant believe you've cheated us like this. What do u sit around at atable and talk about at ur meetings? You should have seen that what u proposed would generate theFURRY that is now the online community. How could u possibly think that this would have been fair? Even more so, why didnt you tell us the CRITICAL details (i.e. the sh*tty grouping method) BEFORE launch day? The ONLY reason i am keeping my account is the hope that you wont fock up JTL. But even after this, im having my doubts. You have seriously let me down as a game developer company and have hurt my viewpoint of your proffessionalism.
Bottom line: You made the Jedi method quest based. Make so we can ALL DO IT WHEN WE WANT. You've only implemented another form of time restriction for something was SUPPOSED to be time restricition FREE.

dear developers,
As of your current publish, 08.31.04, it has become increasingly noticable that you do not value your
player database. Time after time, you have come up with good ideas, presented them to the community,
built them up with tireless hype, and finally, in an act that has become predictable, taken our hopes and
crashed them into the ground. I have wanted to present to you a long list of complaints on these forums
for the longest time, but that task would require too much time and im sure I couldnt fit them all within
20 full posts. Not only do I think you are completely incompetant at your job, I seriously question your
intentions. If you are not 100% dedicated to Star Wars, which (if you havent noticed) is what this game
is all about, then I think you should rethink your methods, or just simply step down from your position.
You are simply not wanted as the head of the community if you can not make it prosper without lying to
your players. I continue to play, not because I value your work, but because I still hang on to a hope that
you will wake up one day and realize what needs to be done, or that you are replaced with someone who
will always be true to the people, and one who will make the roleplayers, the social gamers, powergamers,
and everyone else who may not fall into a category, happy.
Please, wake up...and stop lying and cheating us.

You expect me to pay $15 a month to WAIT?! Look, quite frankly, I can sit on my thumb all day FOR FREE! I don't need to do it in your game.
You say "Just go about your business as normal, he will come." My "business as normal" as of late is WAITING. I had a goal. You took it away. My only goal now is to wait for you to decide that you're READY to allow me to pursue it again. You decided that it would be TOO HARD to develop the new system while the old was in place. Now that's MY problem. So you told me I had to wait. Then, I logged on eargerly a week ago only find that my download only included a PART of patch 10. SO I WAITED SOME MORE. I log in today to find that patch 10 IS in place now, and the advice I get is to WAIT SOME F#$&^$% MORE. UNBELIEVABLE.
I have a single question. It is one you will not see anywhere else in this thread:
Who's crack addiction is my $15/month feeding?
I can guarantee that it isn't paying compitent devs. These hard coded time delays are the WORST excuse for new content I have ever seen.
If you need to delay people going into the village for hardware concerns, that AGAIN should not be our problem. You birthed this beast, you feed it! If your solution doesn't work, then FIX THE D@#$ THING. Don't make me sit back and wait some ambiguous amount of time with nothing to do.
I honestly don't know how you devs sleep at night. If this was done in ANY OTHER GAME, it would have been shut down from cancellations 6 months ago.

lol im sorry but this is funny. i was once like most of you i really really wanted to be a jedi without the hologrinding. then i became sane listening to a guild mate of mine. from what i understand the majority of whinners in this post are playing this game just to be jedi. if your playing this game just to be jedi your playing the wrong game may i suggest stop whining and go play Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy if you wanna be a jedi so badly.
