I'm in the same vote as RaptorThirteen. Did I miss something here? First the developers give out holocrons to everyone, starting a hologrinding maddness on all the servers, then once thousands of ppl are well on the path, they decide to change the unlocking procedure, now they aren't even willing totell us how/whatthey are changing? What's the deal???
Hello,
Well i'm not sure if this is a good place to put this in, but I have some Suggestions for other proffessions involovment in droids. Specifically The Armorsmith. I am a master Armorsmith/Master Artisan, on Starsider. I've been anticipating this release since they announced it before x-mas. Here is what i think would be cool to see in the game.
In a nutshell, I would like to see you give Armorsmiths the ability to make armor for Droids, Vehicles, Mounts, and Pets. you could make it in 2 forms, ie. some kind of Plate type armor, or Shield Generators.
FOR DROIDS:
- You could make it so we would need to make the segments, and then add them to the combat modules (obtained by a DE), but allow the segment to be added after the combat module has been crafted (kinda like modifying with a slice), and any experimentation to armor stats is then done by the Armorsmith.
- Another way to do this is to just give Armorsmiths the ability to make "Armor Modules" or "PSG Modules". obviously using components from the master artisan, and droid engineer, or even some Architect items, with the final combine and experimentation done by the Armorsmith. Give the Module Hitpoints like a vehicle, then after the modules depleted, the droid starts to take damage. Make the modules repairable only by Armorsmiths, not repair droids, using the same rules we have for current personal armor.
- And yet another way to do this, you couldadd the ability to craft"Armor Powerups." These could have a limited number of uses depleting as attacks are taken, and could be drag and drop just like weapon powerups. I know they were planned on, you can still see the heading on the Bazaar, i'm sure this wouldn't be hard to impliment at all. you could do this by giving the crafting to master Artisans, but they must aquire segments from an Armorsmith as a required ingredient.
FOR VEHICLES :
- as it becomes more and more popular for you to destroy someones vehicle in PvP, it's all to apparent that some kind of armor is needed to increase the survival of a vehicle. I'm tired of mt vehicle getting trashed in 2-3 hits as soon as i get KD'd. hmm "Armor Powerups" would work here too. just drag and drop.
- another way would be to craft armor plates that are added when the vehicles constructed by the master artisan.
For Mounts & Pets :
- This one is a little more tricky. I know i'm dreaming on this, but honestly, If your a Knight in Armor, does your Mount not have battle gear too? Some of this stuff could be made by Tailors. again with either AS's making "Armor Plates" or "Chain Mail", etc etc. to be added like a segment enhancement to the clothing.
Anyway's I'm sure there are 100's of possiblilties on how this stuff could be implemented, I just don't want my Master Armorsmith to get left behind with all the new stuff coming into the game, and have no input or part on stuff an Armorsmith Should.
A 30-second delay before vehicles appear! Well, thanks for waisting more of my time SWG. Not only do I have to wait 10 minutes to travel from city to city or planet to planet on a shuttle, but now I have to wait 30 seconds everytime I want to ride my vehicle. Well, too bad, when this next publish comes out you have lost my business.
Thanks for nothing!
Warcry change = horrible idea. Pull your heads out of your collectives and actually fix something for a change rather then breaking more classes. Are you guys going to break every class until the only 3 left are Combat Medic, Rifleman, and Jedi? All I can say is hello Cancell button and good by SWG.
TH who did the Devs get input from about Warcry? No one right? Thought you all were working on using the Correspondants more?

Ok TH I first have not read all 22 pages of this post. Some of the thoughts have probably been brought up before but I am trying to understand the mentality behind some of these changes.
Way back in july or august you or one of the other devs made a statement that there are plenty of skills to choose from. A master of one profession should not and would not be greater than any other. The reasoning behind this according to you was that people were supposed to mix and match from different professions to get the best from each school. Now from the way I read the up coming notes you have decided that this is to be punished. Why are you punishing us for doing what you told us to MONTHS ago?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Secondly why are you nerfing warcry? You are now taking one of the most effective tools of the melee classes away from them. Why are you making this a Pre-Warcry?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
These two changes are way out of hand and do not seem to serve any purpose other than to punish melee fighters and people who actually listened to you in the first place. Explain this to me someone please?
