Rangers need added combat effectiveness for creatures (at least) and/or increased harvest and/or ability to harvest all the creature and not waste the rest of it. We spend the skill points of a Doctor and have about as much utility as an ID (don't mean mean that as an insult, but you guys don't require 140 skill points to master).
Scout + uber template can out harvest us by shear numbers of kills.

Make a smuggler feigning death actually appear dead (They cannot be targeted and attacked)

In one sentence: Duplicate Jedi PvP system to Factionnal Caracters
- 1°/ Perma OVER for High ranked faction caracters. When buying such a rank player should receive alert that he is entering the PvP Ranking system, to give every one the choice.
Rebellions and Imperial leaders have great chance to be famous, thinking thatMon Mothaor Moff Tarkin can act cover is a non sens.
- 2°/ a/ Make them able to buy competitive stuff to recruiter, or better schematics to envolve crafters to the process. These items should only be accessed byranked caracters to make (by certifcation system) their perma over interesting, and make them more challenging than weak victims for Jedi Knights. Perhaps making Ranked Factional Caracters able to command more than one factionnal pet at the time.
These items can be drawn from the actual game content, no need to design anymore.
Jedi should fear to cross the road of a high ranked imperial officer, like Luke hidding form Imperial troops.
- 2°/ b/ Also a Death Penaltiesfor these caracters should mean a FP loss to dissuade players to abuse system.
Imperial officer can ask a Rebel Leader to die to permit him to rise in the Empire organisation !!!
- 3°/ Give them PvP rewardslike to Jedi , good amount of FP that permit them to keep their factionnal ranking.
With Palpatine on commands, belive me than staying inactive can be potentialy dangerous even for a general.
If you do this you will ad a real PvP dimension to SWG and dramatically renforced the GCW experience of your player base.

Ensure everyone has at least 2 weaknesses which, through their choice of armor and weapon, they can customize.

Allow the following defenses to be effective against poison/disease
Dodge/Block/Counterattack
Ranged defense
Armor (maybe add the resistance to a PSG)
Afterall, the CM is throwing a big ball of poison at you...

Give the Master Pistoleers PvE usefulness and make the DE-10 Medium Armor Piercing.

Give each prof their own damage type and make each armor have a speacial protection for 1 or 2 damage type.

CM = 75% dmg reduction...ranged AND ranged AE poison/disease cure...and Mind stims!
