This is a lot of fun, very difficult, but at least the place isn't camped. Have been going back everyday since the launch, have made it to the mines many timesand completed the mine foremans quest. Just need one more ingredient to make our first part of the armour.

Considering the difficulty, I would also suggest better loot + badges for completion.

My only othersuggestion is increase the loot drops of the armour ingredients, if you want to make it harder, then only allow npcs in section b or the mines to drop it.

Please ignore all the other posts complaining about difficulty, you just need a well organised team and persistance.

In Gary Gattis's State of the Game Letter he said that in Mini Publish 8.2, beside's the Deathwatch Bunker, we would also get a Veteran Rewards system, a Badge Display system and loot enhancements. Earlier in the message he said that the "...Veteran's Rewards system that will allow you to earn a bunch of cool things, up to and including an exclusive starship when "Jump to Lightspeed" launches!"

What happened with these extra features? All I am hearing about is the Deathwatch Bunker.I have no interest in it because it's too over powered but I do want to know what kind of cool things we're suppossed to get as veterans. As an avid collector of badges I'd also like to know what the Badge Display system is. Which brings me to the question of what the loot enhancements were.

That same letter also said that the schedule WAS subject to and probably WOULD change. It obviously changed. I saw an updated State of the Game Letter with a new layout... was a link in a post somewhere... can't find the link again tho.

Its definitly the most dificult place in the game right now but a smart team on voice can go through it. Our team of 14 finally got down through the mines, went to all the crafting rooms and enjoyed killing something without 60k + ham for a while (miners and rats). No one died for the 1st time until serverwas about to go down so we all went our own waysto see how many things could agro each of us. Of course being the BH i somehow had 12 SBD's and a host of other crap on me asserver went down.If we would have had the3 items needed to turn the armor our DE could have made a piece of armor. I was praying the miners would drop something for the armor turn since you need basically 10 of each component to make a set (I will settle for just enough for a helmet at this point though).

Next trip down is to do the foreman quest inside since the rebel one got me 30 faction for 8 SBD's worth of work

A couple observations--

The poison isn't a big deal down there for still buffed players so don't sweat the retrofitted rebreathers if it will make you waste valuable "mind buff time".

The Mines themselves have a few areas to rest and quick kill miners as well as a few places to use AOE's but there are still A TON of SBD, wraiths and BD's down there. No rest for the wicked i guess.

We got passed the last security terminal and into the mine with 1.5 hrs on our buffs but our mind buffs were gone so the CM's earned their pay after that.

The loot once we got to exploring all the rooms in the mine was kind of depressing, a couple rebreathers and a schematic is all we got. Nothing for the armor turn which is all we wanted.

Yes its very hard and we have yet to attempt the foreman quest inside (basically go back up 1/2 way and back down again) but its not impossible. We had a tailor and a DE with us (just in case) and they hardly got touched until we had to try to get out and that was just pure comedy. Being smart is a must and I will say I turn down invitations all day long to go down there with people I don't know or don't listen. One wrong turn can add 4 SBD's to your enemy list in a heartbeat. We had no pets, droids or tricks to doing any of this other than learning what rooms or areas to pull things into anda few areas to rest infor a sec. Haveing 6 SBD's, a few BD's and some Death Watch on us isn't uncommon at all. The shuttle bay room (2nd security terminal) is always tense even after 8 times passed it. If you make it passed that a 2 or 3 min is heaven. Other than that We never expected anything less.

As far as the agro scenario the 1st 5 rooms are the hardest part due to that. Once we get passed that its not a concern because we have never seen a group pass that area while we were there so there is never a fear of someone doing something stupid to get us killed (save the tired tanks).

haha

you muppets don't get it yet do you?

i'm using a friends account to post and i am so glad i cancelled both of my toons on flurry.

this game isn't about making intresting content every month.

you may think by paying them that they would work to give you some quality on par with modern gaming - but they aren't.

they want to keep you HOOKED!!! yes hooked.

they put in unplayable crap to be played with unplayable professions with a few treats to keep you paying 15 bucks a month.

you're a fool if you take pride in being here from the start.

this is not a game - its just torture.

yes you can roleplay and invent your own content - but i can do that with a MUSH, or MUDD or hell a pen and paper game for ZERO dollars a month and NO LAG.

you fools keep paying and playing for crap like this, the exact reason i left - bait and switch chase rewards. they are trying to keep your mind off how crappy this game is until they can push the space expansion and get even more money.

the problem is - if you are even halfway intelligent you understand that this kind of content points out everything that is wrong with this game.

One small thing, after all the work you guys have put into creating the new dungeon an extra 5 minutes to attach an appropriate picture to the message in the loading screen would add alot to the feel of a new publish. I load into the game, there is a message about the new dungeon and next to it, a picture of ..... a jawa! Simply replacing this with a more appropriate pictur (the one used in the friday feature for example) would make oading in when a new dungeon opens a bit more exciting.

We on Tempest:

Have ran over 14 expeditions, 80% deep into the DWB, most failed halfway because of bugged tech quest. (droid' quest is next to impossible to complete) we have reached the mines a multiple occasion with 1/10 of the party and have yet to craft any of the mando or jetpack (BTW Jetpackisn't craftable (we had all known components including all know mando components) and it woudn't let our DE into the crafting room. Strongly suspect the jetpack isnt functional as of yet and was just put there as a tease until they finish it... at which time thay might let us in on the scoop

So in brief after 14 fairly good expeditions:

- SBD 4 mins timer is stoooopid, should be 10 mins at the minimum 12-15 would work as good!

- Remove lootable chest from first section or remove SBD spawn trigger by it (Too many noob camping and causing spawn)

- Overall the mobs is very challenging and fun. but reduce their area of patrol. some mob will chase people from inside the bunker all the way back to the outpost..

- FIX THE TECH QUEST!!!! 9/10 the droid stops and go back!!! even when all the mob has been eliminated!!! or remove gas from mines until you can fix that quest!

- Fix the Jetpackcomponents required to go into the DE crafting room! (Not working as intended)

Lots more little things we noticed, but these 5 itmes need to be addressed!

I wish i could say good job... "sigh"

We took a small army (over a dozen in the group), full of ultra-buffed (Docs, Food, Spice, Entertainer, the works), uber-armored (extremely good quality comp armor), heavily armed (some of the best weapons on the server) hardcore elite profession master fighters, master docs, master combat medics....and still didn't get past the third room. Super Battle Droids and Battle Droids are WAY WAY WAY too strong....they seriously need to nerfed BIG TIME. We couldn't even kill 2 before more spawned and attacked us. Those droids are the biggest cop out i've ever seen in the name of "hard enemies for the uber player". Yeah, make it hard to get the Mandalorian Armor and stuff, not IMPOSSIBLE. The DW Bunker needs to have those lame droids removed....they arn't even supposed to be around in this time frame anyway. Your telling me Padme can blow the head off a battle droid in one shot with a tiny little republic blaster, and Clone Troopers can blast a Super Battle Droid away in one shot from the hip, but 4 Teras Kasi Masters, 3 Commandos, and 4 Master Rifleman, not to mention a Master Fencer and others, have to pound on it for 15 minutes to take it down? Lame. Either nerf the crap out of the Battle Droids (by the way they are just as bad in the Corellian Corvette) or remove them completely. This is my opinion. I'm all for difficult dungeons...but right now Death Watch Bunker is a complete waste of time, resources, and energy, for little or no reward.

24 pages no response, save the classes that can wear it one. Please don't just ignore and lock this thread like you did with the Vette. We have legitimate concerns with this dungeon. Once again it's an aspect of this game with a lot of possibility that you just didn't live up to. I'm trying very hard to continue to love this game, but the lack of intelligent content, and the cases where you have good content but then screw it up to punish a few players who beat your dungeon, is making it difficult. Get rid of the SBDs. We want to see a challenge, but these guys are just a waste of time, no fun, and not even close to being creative content.

Yeah Devs...ignore the 24 pages of negative responses and only listen to this one (obviously) power gamer who says keep it the way it is. Whover wrote this post: We had a well organized team and persistence and still got jack, well, we DID get something...BORED.

Devs: REMOVE ALL BATTLE DROIDS FROM THE ENTIRE GAME...THEY ARE NOT FUN, AND ARE UNWANTED, UNORIGINAL, AND PLAIN STUPID TO HAVE.

Once again, just because a handful of players can solo a dungeon doesn't mean you punish everyone else by making it impossible. You are all acting like a bunch of ego-bruised Dungeon Masters who are mad at the players for beating your "great challenge", so they just throw crap at you until you die.

And for Pete's Sake, REPLY AT LEAST ONCE TO THIS THREAD! What am I and the other 1000's of players paying your salary for?!

The Devs are not going to respond to this post, they'll just let it run awhile more before shutting it down. Why? Because they know all of the posts here are right, the DWB sucks. As soon as the first few people somehow manage to make a piece of mando,in their little minds it will legitimize this dungeon. Never mind the fact that it has taken more time and effort than the armor is worth just so it can be auctioned off for a few billion credits or some uber leet dude can walk around telling everyone to look at his armor. Who cares? I am a comando and would have liked to get a few pieces but I am not going to ask my guildmates to go thru this nightmare just for me, its just plain stupid. Too many dumbass droids that don't belong here anyway for too little loot.

And what burns me up more is the simple fact that these jerks won't answer this post. Probably still too giddy from FanFest and playing their private JTL to care or have and pride in their work. I do not post very often but this is just annoying, they ask for feedback and then say nothing. Then they make a joke ofjawas and gungans being the next player species. Haha, very funny, keep jerking our chains. At this rate I'll be laughing my way all the way to store to buy something else. CoH looks good, might give that a try.
