The May SWG newsletter went out last night and if you haven’t received it yet, you won’t receive it from the automatic mailer system. Getting the newsletter is very important so what Q-3PO and I have done is put together a quick focus thread to help out those of you who reported problems:
If you feel you are having a newsletter delivery problem:
When did you last receive the newsletter, if ever? 6 months ago
Did you double-check your email spelling? Many times
Did you double-check your station account? (There is a flag for stopping all mail from the Station which includes SWG) Set to recieve the letter
Does your email have a spam filter? Spam Filter off
*Also, I recieve the EQ2 one just fine, so it's only SWG giving me problems*
Please post your answers so we can get a good feel for what’s happening on your end. If the first 3 are yes and the last is no, post a “yes”. We’ll collect them and send the newsletter to you manually.
Also, we will have the newsletter archive up soon as another way to reference the info.
Thanks for your patience!

Yes

Yes. BUT, After scanning my mail logs I see nothing hitting my system with the domain of station.com or sony.com. What domain and address is it coming from? That way we can add THAT to our whitelists to see if it is a stealth nerf of suspected spam.
Any ISP using SORBS as a spam filter will filter off the Sony Newsletter.
The SORBS listing looks faulty to me, with a single reference, to a so-called "spamtrap" address.
1. many many months ago.
2. yes. spelled right.
3. flags have been reset boths ways. no effect on getting news letter. At one time I did get the planetside newletter while I played PS, but would not get the SWG newsletter.
4. yes. these 2 accounts are on the safe list: [email protected] & [email protected].
I do get other newsletters like from LucasArts.com with no problems. I know that has nothing to do with SWG newletter tho.
