I see the point here...It's going to create a lot more business for artisans. But it would also create more business for them if they could sell Vehicle Repair Tools that can only be usedat Garages andwhich would take a huge chunk off the condition. Essentially making it so you can repair your vehicle from the disabled state 2 maybe 3 times tops.


But I'd be fine with not letting disabled bikes be repaired. If you're goign to drive around Overt in your AV-21... you'd be better be a bad ass with a strong group behind you.

I find it amazing that so many people are complaining now that they have to pay to fix their vehicles, I bet the same one's complain that there is too much money around too, well now there is a solution









What about when somebody incaps you and blams your bike before you can store it?

Maybe I missed this part, but what happend to all starports being able to conntect eachother (aka buhbye coronet hops)? That was the thing I was looking forward to the most :/

With regards to Starport wait times, please tell us that you're are going to do everything in your power to get this moved from the GCW publishto a soon as possible. This is a long over due change is onmy list of top5issues with the current game (most of which are being addressed soon). Please hear the cries of the majority out there that want the reduction to improve our immersion.


(In no particular order)


1.) Excessive time spent waiting atstarport/shuttleports.


2.) Current jedi grind.


3.) Force crystals and Krayt pearls ruining the saber creation process.


4.) Combat balance


5.) State of faction rewards.

Imperial Crackdown became a faction farm so what do you do.

Bring in a Storm Trooper that puts to shame AT-ST's...That's what you call progressive thinking...Not


Didn't you think of just removing FP awards from ST's in cities?

Creating progressively harder spawns to when people start culling the ST's.


Perhaps just balance out combat, like the preview to Publish8 promised to do...odd that there is nothing about it now it has gone live.


So, now it requires a group effort to Kill a Storm Trooper....That's a great idea...This is just like EQ.

This isn't a storm trooper that you need to travel to a special location to find, oh no...this is one that stationed outside Star Ports. Rebel Guilds will need to organise raids just to leave planets.


I can understand why you clamped down on Faction Farms, it needed doing but once again it's the laziest botch of a fix that can is implemented.

Hey, ignore us, we don't need balance, just throw in big HAM stats and Resists and we'll all become CM/MRM.


You made us too powerfull withDoc Buffs and then Food...So fix it and take out these Krayt style HAM npc's.


Please.

Thunderheart, don't you dare suggest to the developers that disabled vehicles are repairable!


I cannot believe that with a game in such an economical mess as SWG is you are going to listen to people who want to have less credits going out of the economy but still the same amount coming in.


This game needs WORKING money sinks. There are several in the game and vehicles is one of the many that didn't work until today.


Please think very carefully about what people are asking before you go to the developers with feedback.


If there are problems with vehicles then let's have a thread on what people perceive the problems are before making rash changes.


So far here is what I have seen in various threads.


So far I havent' really seen any valid reasons to change anything and I am not even in the business of selling vehicles.


As someone else said if you don't want your rare AV-21 to be damaged then for the love of god don't take it out in a situation where this can happen.


If you don't want your regular vehicle to suffer the same fate then either get a mount or walk.


I am just gobsmacked that om am effort to fix the economy in this game you people still listen to crazy ideas that make the economy WORSE!


We have so few money sinks in the game that making the ones that do work less effective is not the way to do it.


I know I am going to be 1 starred for this but I don't really care anymore.


It was listening to the players that has ruined some other great aspects of other MMORPG's, please don't do it here.

I agree that disabled vehicles should be unrepairable but there's not only the case with PvP. Some mobs also attacks your bike after they incapped or dbd you. This may be a bug or working as intended, but in any case it's beyond your control. I can avoid riding overt in my av-21 but it would be ridiculous if I had to avoid using it when fighting anything that had the chance to incap/db me.


I think the av-21 should be a special case. Let us repair it at a garage for a very high cost even if it's disabled.

Please change the starport wait time to 5mins. I don't need to wait at a starport for 10 mins to feel immersed in the game. This just wastes everyone's time. If people want to wait 10 minutes - then they should wait for the next shuttle. You can see how disappointed everyone on this.

There have been reports of changes to mobs in the game. One in particular is that the HAM on savage quenkers has doubled but the exp increase has only increased by 100. Can you please detail what creatures have been changed please?

I seem to be getting a lot of 'an error occurred during container transfer' when trying to exit my AV-21 (not sure if its the same for all vehicles or not)


Means I cant exit it, or store it (same message) without physically /quit 'ing the game.

Oops sorry in my blind rage I didn't read my post and the middle bit doesn't make sense.


I meant to list what I had seen as reasons to make them repairable and then list counter reasons but got carried away.


Anyway, go with the thread idea and see what people say. Hopefully those that only look at the imediete issue (having to spend money for a new one) will be less then those thatmake them for a living and more importantlythose that look at SWG's economy as a whole and realise thatmorecredits going out of the systemwill be a huge benefit to everyone.
