In my humble opinion, it is a wise decision to add the Nova troopers. The imperial crackdown was not meant to be a farming ground to gain XP, which is what people are doing. I see more storm trooper bodies in Mos Espa and eisley than should be allowed. These are under Imperial Protection and if you recall from the movies, stormtroopers were feared not farmed. They slaughtered innocents and upheld imperial law, albeit corrupt. Noone walked up and just started shooting at a stormtrooper with the intent of killing him for the heck of it. Besides, right now, the Imperial Crackdown is a JOKE. No one even worries about it. I applaud the devs on this choice.
/agree completly
As a reb, when I see a storm trooper I want to be afraid, not see him as a chance to get faction points. What did the jedi in the movies do, they avoided conflict with troppers unless they had not choice. Why? because they can die as easy as anyone,
The Empire should be extremly powerful and unbalanced, that is afterall the setting of the story, small band of people against insurmountable odds. I say, bring them on, put them in EVERY major city (that fits within the storyline) Coronet should be crawling with nova troopers.

Congratulations, you people just killed the GCW for anyone shy of a template stacker.
Troopers with more HAM than a Juvie krayt? TWICE the HAM of an AT-ST? Hell, some are FOUR TIMES MORE!!
What's next, TH, 1,000,000 HAM AT-ATs? That's where you're going with nonsense like this.
Seriously, what thehell drove this decision? Oops, people are killing stormtroopers, its starting to actually look like the movies, we have to change it.
Stupid stupid stupid stupid.
Stop feeding the goddamned powergamers, this game that was marketed as one for "casual gamers" is choking under bullsh*t like this!
Cut the crap and get the combat rebalance in gear, man, this idiocy that's being put out to counteract the overpower of some professions is mind boggling in it ignorance of reality.
Why not just have Vader wander around Theed randomly Force choking people? It makes as much sense as this sludge.
YAY! A reason to fear the Empire ![]()
For a price I can transport that suit of armor and those weapons out of Theed with you *wink*

Have to agree with you on this. Rebels should be in hiding. Playing Hit and run tactics... Not standing in the middle of Mos Eisley taking out stormtroopers by the dozen, without a care in the world! Hopefully this will be a proper Imperial Crackdown.
Sure, give rebs the ability to declare anywhere. You can't hit and run when the other side can just camp the recruiter. Hit and gTEF maybe?

YAH! Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you.....if this improves the vendor lag issue on Dantooine I will be very happy. Can't wait to get home and try out that new hardware.

The development team made many gameplay changes as listed. Please post your opinions, comments and feedback.
Gameplay
- Dantooine now has more hardware to support increased load
- Reduced the wait time on shuttle ports to 5 minutes (Starports are still 10 minutes).
- Fixed a bug commonly referred to as the “armor hole”
- Changed some profession titles to remove redundant or inconsistent names
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Tusken Robe and Helmet from dropping. (Correspondent Issue)
- Changed references from "coins" during group looting to "credits".
- Exploring the Talusian Aqualish Cave will now grant the correct exploration badge
- Added hooded dress for Trandoshan females
- When you delete a character, all harvesters and installations that the character owns will be deleted after next server restart.
GCW
- Imperial Crackdown: Deployed elite novatroopers to support the crackdown on illegal activity
- Now players can manually control turret targeting for turrets that protect bases. This will give defenders a much greater chance of success in defending their HQ and make attackers have to be more organized when attacking a base.
Player Cities
- Added bio engineer trainers to the list of possible skill trainers
- Fixed an issue where in some cases the city specialization would not be applied.
- Tatooine player garage ramp edge fixed: both sides now crossable
Profession: Bounty Hunter
- If a Bounty Hunter with a Jedi bounty mission is incapacitated by the Jedi, the Jedi loses his Bounty Hunter enemy flag.
Profession: Entertainer
- Players need to watch a performer for at least 2 minutes before entertainer buffs can be applied.
Profession: Jedi
- Tweak to Jedi Bounty Hunter TEF clearing. There is a 30 second wait before the TEFs are cleared giving the Jedi a moment to perform a deathblow if he/she so desires.
Profession: Pistoleer
- Fixed problem with dodge; dodge no longer stops Pistoleer from running while in combat (Correspondent Issue)
Profession: Scout
- Fixed a problem where traps could not be thrown indoors.
Vehicles / Mounts
- Vehicles will no longer auto-heal when left out and stored after a player has taken a transport to another location.
- Removed fidget action from Cu Pa while mounted
With regards to Starport wait times, please tell us that you're are going to do everything in your power to get this moved from the GCW publishto a soon as possible. This is a long over due change is onmy list of top5issues with the current game (most of which are being addressed soon). Please hear the cries of the majority out there that want the reduction to improve our immersion.
(In no particular order)
1.) Excessive time spent waiting atstarport/shuttleports.
2.) Current jedi grind.
3.) Force crystals and Krayt pearls ruining the saber creation process.
4.) Combat balance
5.) State of faction rewards.

Yea thats the ticket make ST much stronger.. You people had better pray to god your space expansion isnt buggy and full of crap because nearly all the people I know are only remaining here to see if it is. I thought I read in previous patch notes concerning the crack-down that ST's would not scan people in starports. well brainiacs they do and did. I was standing in front of the ticket droid on Mos Entha and an ST runs up to me and says "Halt.. etc.. etc.." So with me not buffed or anything I just run, but of course I get a TEF, so then I get a message that my bike turned Overt and was destroyed. (Makes sense) (not). and then two goods decide to help the ST and bam im cloning because your stupid system. So now I have to worry about 100k ham Supertrooper that will scan me.. so can you say forcing everyone (like it pretty much is now) to be buffed constantly.. Heck this game can not be played without buffs. And when you get a TEF or whatever the first thing someone does is attack your vehicle because it takes nothing to destroy one.

Please make a way for disabled vehicles to be fixed. I really want to be able to use my AV-21 without stress. I play a game for stress relief not to add stress to my life. Maybe a Artisten repair kit that makes it able to repaired at a garage?
I really agree that losing your av-21 in 2 seconds isn't fun but I disagree about the artisan repair kits. This change was (I guess) mostly done to give artisans some buisness and if disabled vehicles can be repaired this wouldn't be the case. I'm surprised TH said he would look into it considering all the debate from artisans.
But it would be neat if there were some special rules for the av-21. Most people will never even get one and very few will get two. It wouldn't be neat to lose it forever faster than you can blink. And it's not only in PvP that vehicles gets "killed". Some mobs attacks vehicles after they'd db you.
And I haven't tried it now, but last time I tried repair was bugged so that the repair would be lost after a store/generate.
