I just want to say thatk you for finally fixing this... only thing iask is next time you state such a fix in patch note' know it hasent gone in please give us faster feedback on when it is gonna be fixed i didnt know it was till last night when i decided to do another bounty misssion. I had posted allover asking for a responce and finally got one today... Thank You

Dear Blair,


What do yu want to say for people who already done with MBH? Any respect? I got my MBH 2 months ago and it was more then 300 hrs only for Investigation. After this exp changes this thing can be done at one week. Who am i after this? If you want to call me "BETA tester" i will accept this title.

A question from a politician / architect team:


Our Bounty-Hunters here are asking for SpyNet operatives ( the GOOD version of it - there seem to be two types) to be placed alongside the new BH mission terminals.


Will those be included in the list of trainers to be placed by the mayor ?


If not, those terminals seem to be somewhat useless i havebeen told.

There is one thing I agree with him on, these holocron kiddies are causing a lot of trouble.


Plus, I remember when the complaints were about Bounty Hunters being too powerful. I stop reading the boards because people were just whining about this or that, then all of a sudden its easier to be a bounty hunter?


Mind you, I dont care whats what, if you get the llc or pistol or carbine, whatever.


Of course this is taken into consideration so that response it mute.


Its now easier? Ok, IM done typing, I've got to figure this one out.

Ok seriously, I don't even go to the BH forums cause all it is now is people bitching about this change..."Waaaa waaaa waaaa I did Investigation BEFORE the change therefore I'm more important I can't believe they cheapened my online accomplishment by making it easier for everyone else!" Get over it whiney babies!!!!! I'm so sick of you previous Master BH that whine about this being changed...All you do is make our profession look bad..You're all an embarassment.



Anyway thanks Dev's for making the most monotonous tree in the game less of a pain. =)

Come on people. I thank the DEVs for the change, though I have a sneaking suspicion it was because of Holocron whiners and not because they actually read our forum. Also, the payout increase was in our top 5, but xp increase was inherent in that it is a percentage of payout. Raising thexp percentageof payout was not asked for, but I can't say I'm toodisappointed. At least we got a fix. It will still take 2-3 times longer to master bounty hunter than any other profession and still requires more skill points. So, the validity of our request for some balance on the offensive/defensive for BHs as compared to other combat templates that require as many skill points is still very much alive. It still takes a minimum of over 100 hours of game time to master BH. No other profession takes that long or requires the number of skill points.


Do I think they'll actually balance professions? Probably not.Please, before balancing is attempted, fix all profession specials. You can't balance until all the abilities of each profession work properly. You're just creating work for yourselves in the future when you do fix specials if you try to balance first.

Blair you know I really appreciate the consideration going into helping us master BH I am at level 2 investigation and it was estimated for me about 230 BH missions ( at 100 exp each) before I would be master. add in the chase time of about 20-30 mins for non glitched missions PER missions and you got me playing for months trying to just get the next bar.So for this I thank you.


But one thing more I think needs to be addressed and seriously considered, BH seems to be one of the easiest calsses to incap in PVP. Other classes have Defense mods...pistoleer..TKA seem first to come to mind. But the bounty hunter is stuck with the same defense they get from master marksman. And I remind you that is NOTHING. I dont want to waste more skill points getting pistoleer 0/04/0 just to have a little protection. It's unfair that we use so many skill points getting up in level and watch as the other classes get buffed with defense mods. While we remain the exact same skill point cost... and keep the same weak defense modss, all the time watching as we are consistantly being told we are overpowered. Then we get to see our scatter pistols reduced...


Seems to be the devs are bent on giving us one thing while taking others away.Or adding more to another class to protect them from us, but nothing to protect us at all. A little Melee DEF would be nice... or perhaps a Dizzy Def mod would be nice.


I just want to know if this sort of thing is in the works or if ( like always) we are going to have to "just deal with it" like we have been?Any feedback on Defense mods from the Devs will be greatly appreciated.


PS I really do not mind the scatter changes, but one thing that bothers me is the we should be one of the top PVP classes, yet we are not, we are(or are one OF) the weakest advanced professions (of the combat professions) for PVP.

Being a BH is a joke .... I remembered when I first started SWG ... a noob marksman .. in Coronet Cantina ... and an Expert BH walks in ... almost everyone greets him with respect (u dun wanna piss off the BH) ... now they just laugh @ your face ... C'mon devs u reduced our scatters at least give us more def mods ....


We're almost a freaking joke .... no doubt none of us are supposed to be as good as Boba Fett (and he's a tough barve to kill - even the saarlac could not kill him...) , but the galaxy has other BHs that can give Fett a run for his money ...


As for the mission XP increase is concerned ... sure is funny you guys decide to increase just as the Holocrons are getting players to Master BH ...

kind of a late post, But I wanted to Thank Blair for this update and others that are comming. I forgot the players name that wanted the title MBH Beta tester.. Well if you where really a beta tester of the BH prof then you would of known that in the beginning.


You needed Master Brawler, Master Marksmen and ALL lines of Bh required BH Exp.. And didnt have any special weapon skills. This was changed and then the BH exp receaved was reduced because only one line needed it now. But how long it took to advance at this time wasnt tested because it was so close to release and everyone that was testing it was close or was at Master Bh by the time of the change.


So in closing sorry once again. A change close to release wasnt tested properly and is now being fixed.

Well... I looted my first holocron on Saturday night. I have to be a Master Bounty Hunter. So I think you guys should spend like 2 hours or something one day straight up fixing bounty hunter bugs so I can go be a jedi
