Thread: Publish 6: Released Wednesday Morning
Why oh why am i starting to loose interest in the game, i started playing it and loved it, but the constant crashes (256mb ram min? - yeah right try 1gb!) and all, i'm really starting to get bored, i'm not interested in rebel/empireGCW, I like taking out the creatures & lairs - never bother with rebel pirate bases ....etc , no fun.
Now i see all my efforts to get good weaponry and all are gone to waste, since i know they are sliced. Gr8, so if you get scanned what happens if you log immediately?
Why don't they bring in the CDEF patch and give everybody pea shooters take away all armour (makes it even for wookies then), remove the ability to make anything (solve's all the artisan problems) and then call it SWG 1942 (battlefield edition)

What are you complaining about, Thunderheart has been ignoring the Dancer community alot longer than that.

I'm not saying your wrong. I respect your opinion, even if it disagrees with mine. I don't respect the fact that you try to trivalize the issue by spouting the "4 person minority" line, that has been so popular in trying to make us hushup. Because it simply isn't true.

No, you just can't seem to back it up on why you did, other than claiming it's just 4 people who disagree.

Same with smugglers actually. Its been a long time, but this patch directly affects us and the basis of what are profession is. So we are a bit concerned.

As one of my Smuggler brethren corrected me, we too have been ignored since Launch.
The reason I said that is because this update affects us, and they havn't even listend to what we have to say about it.
And if in this patch they gave "high level Imperial Officers" the ability to heal through dancing at the same level as a Master Dancer, then me and my fellow Smugglers would be behind you 100%.
DE's should be grateful they arent having a profession pushed on them that they didnt want, not bitter that they arent #1 on the dev list. They had a whole thing ready to go, we didnt like it, it got canned. What the hell did you want them to do?? Are they blameless for it? No, but you cant cry and complain about something until they take it out and then berade them for not having a replacement ready to go in 2 weeks. I dont even understand how all that DE content never went to TC first anyway. Who knows, maybe we would have all really liked DH. Who cares?
As far as smugglers go, a lot of people disagree with the core complaint about the imeprial scanning thing, ie, that it takes away from your skills. Dont know what to tell you. Keep at them, there are still plenty of publishes left. No reason to get all upset and cry as if youve missed theone and only chance to fix it.

Only High Rank Imps can avoid a scan and Smugglers can protect the whole group! Is it nothing?
I think Smugglers will be welcome in all groups now! You do so, like the whole profession would die because a little difference.
It is an RPG and not everybody has the same abilities and skills. It is logical, that imps have protection in the empire. The empire is (IMHO) based on the WW II germans. If you had lived in this time, you would have cried: "Nerf Hitler!", just because he had a jewish girlfriend...

no jedi updates? Are we still grinding holocrons? It was stated in the past that publish 6 will contain these things. Are we the jedi seeking players to still grind away at holo professions?

No we haven't, but you and I both know its almost impossible for them to change something once they implement it. Especially when any change would take away the imperial immunity that they gain with this publish.

Im going to take a guess and say that the reason the imperial issue got more attention than smugglers or DE issues is because there are probably A) a lot more imperials than DE's or smugglers and B.)
